As a person with eczema, we need more characters that have it or psoriasis and have visible rashes. I think Bloom would be an excellent showing of it, especially because the damn rashes feel like fire sometimes. An interesting flavoring could be like fire burning under her skin causing dry, scaly rashes, so it isn't exactly eczema or psoriasis but is something that can help kids with eczema or psoriasis be seen while having a fantasy flavor If any of that makes sense. I'm kinda just throwing the thoughts I have in my head out there.
Your redesigns never miss. I love Bloom's fairy form; I love it when fairies have bug like features it's so fun. I wish the reboot gave the girls different body types to make them stand out more. Body diversity is also an important part of character designing.
Me too like I get the original not being diverse due to the designs being based around fashion illustrations but with the reboot being 3D and being a reboot itd be ok do something different

I don't get why they changed Bloom's outfit to pink and purple. Blue looked so good on her and went great with her hair. It's like with what they did to Stella they're always putting her in pink when her color is orange and green
It seems like alot of studios are doing this whole add pink thing guess old habits die hard wish studios or more specifically doll companies would stop with the whole pink equals girl mindset

For real and lol I remember when parents freaked out the show and dolls I asked my mom how she felt about it and was like "I was more worried about you still wanting dolls for your birthday I didn't care how they dressed plus I was never gonna buy clothes for you that looked liked that anyway" XD
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS REDESIGN for me personally the reboot clothes design feels like modernised y2k/2000 fashion and tries too hard on the layering to make it authentic but it just comes off as weirdly placed. for the fairy forms, idk why but it looks and feel like plastic doll clothes. also I never liked they always make bloom have more pink in her design cus the blue really contrast well with her red hair and reference to blue flames. my guess for the added pink is cus of aisha/layla. as her green colours does change to more turquoise blue to actually match her water powers.
I find it so funny that there so scared or bloom and aisha having similar colors and its like come on where way past them being just color coded it's fine to give them the same colors just make there accent colors different
@@LovesArt23 yes! they could have made bloom's accent colours yellow through the whole seasons. make sense cus it's a common colour in fire. the yellow is already present in bloom's season 1 and 2 design but rarely appear again. also the yellow is a good nod to her first friendship with Stella!

I think that what made bloom's outfit iconic is because it's simple, but helps to tell her personality without you even watching any scene, I think it tells tou that she is simple, optimistic and happy, someone you'd like around

Winx Club was one of my favourite shows growing up but the fairy designs always felt a little plain, so this really did Bloom justice. Genuinely cannot wait to see how you approach the rest of the girls, especially Stella cuz, my god, I love her so freaking much!!
Agreed. However, I do think it depends on the shade of Pink sometimes. As I remember this very light pink dress Bloom wore for a special occasion in I think S7. That I think looked really nice on her since the pale color didn't clash with her hair.

I grew up with Winx Club and I don't like how they're rebooting another part of my childhood and I also don't like the new outfits for the characters. Also I like what you did Bloom, she has that pretty tomboy vibes who's artistic, mysterious, and chaotic energy and her fairy form dress along your AU. Btw, Flora, Musa, and Aisha/Layla are my favorite.
I used to love watching Winx Club as a kid when i had commercial (i dont remember much now) especially that one movie where Bloom found her birth parents and its in 3d But after seeing the leaks and hearing the news of this new series....... wtf i'd probably prefer the netflix series than those designs, they arent as iconic as the OG series Love the design and can wait to see the rest of the girls!❤

I never really watched Winx club, for a few reasons, but one of them was the emphasis on technology. Like I don’t mind the idea of mixing fantasy and sci-fi stuff together, but I wanted some more of the fantasy aspect. (I only remember a few of the first couple episodes, so they might have gone more into it in later seasons, but still) Also, I LOVE the bug-like aspects of the fairy design! I like imagining that if fairies were real, they would look like bugs to not be seen. So I’m very glad I’m not the only one who thinks that. Although I know next to nothing about Winx club, I’m still excited for your other redesigns cause I just like your ideas for designs and characters. 💙

Tbh, i didnt mind that Aisha was green mainly since she was originally the Fairy of Fluids and had more spells dealing in Plasma (like her Morphix) than actual water. Which sidenote, I loved since you hardly see a water type magic user with plasma based spells. The only one i can think of is Bella from H20 as she could turn water into a gelatin-like state.
Aisha's morphix is water. It's the molecular level...plasma is a form of water and her applications of it are literally her like her Enchantix shield of every kid's favorite thing to say when annoyed with each other "I'm rubber, you're glue". The Cinelumè dub didn't explain that, but 4kids did.

This redesign is so pretty, especially the fairy form! I’m a lover of more fantastical transformations in media. I watched Winx as a kid and one of the things I’ve always loved most are the outfits; the originals are not my favorite out of them all but they’re still really good. I love the simple, modern-at-the-time 2000s-style. I think that separated Winx from other girls fantasy shows. I’m disappointed that the reboot is going for a more frilly girly style for the fairy forms- and the big wings- but maybe it’ll be good, who knows..
Now I'm SUPER obsessed with the idea of how you will handle the colors in Aurora's live action outfit _→ ↓ She always had something going on with her colors whether it was - Blue - Pink - A mix of the two as in the movie/the color shifting fabric ones from the parks and cosplays. - Purple (given that is what pink and blue mix into). - All three forming a pink + blue to purple gradient within some of the artwork and dolls ect. - That’s not even getting into green thanks to the live action sequel. Nor is that getting into the fact that Aurora had blue eyes in her film then purple ones in her marketing thanks to her clashing with Cinderella. I’ll always be a purple eyes stan tho, they're such a pretty color for her.
How I wish some shows could take over your vision- I always love to hear you tell us why you chose certain aspects in a design! I am also super happy you included her artistic hobby into her design, I feel like that aspect of her was lost after season 1. I am also obsessed with the idea that she knows historical facts that no one really knows about, I would have eaten that up! I am also not particularly fond of the new official designs, especially not the fairy forms. They just kinda look like athleisure and feel a bit too monotonous. Well anyway, great work as always! Actually... I really like the redesign version of Bloom that you made, plus she's my favorite character. I always thought that Bloom's design should add a few hints that she was a fairy and a princess but doesn't know she is. But still i really like the design. 😊
i love idea of dragonfly wings for Bloom, because not only we get a pun, but also you could emphesize her conection to her sister by making Daphnes wings based on damselfly (bonus pun for daphnes title of nymph)
i hate the legwarmers on the reboot's design but i kinda dig the rest of it, it feels like an outfit a teen with a limited budget would put together to stand out more. and i wish they'd stop trying to shift her out of cool tone outfits, her hair is not favorable to pinks and purples. absolutely love how you did her fairy form

10:01 Extremely sorry for the "herm actually 🤓". Honestly feel free to ignore, I just need to get it out of my system. Aisha/Layla isn't the fairy of water. She's the fairy of fluids specialising in morphix (Which she created herself. Icon.). I believe it was changed in english for cultural reasons but don't quote me on that. So while water is part of her domain, she's far more versatile and original than just that.
On the human with wings looks, they do technically turn small but it’s just an ability they gain However they need to become "true fairies" to be able to turn small so there’s that They’re technically not true fairies until they properly earned their enchantix

I love your designs. Personally, I would love for Stella to be chubby. There is so much content where the most popular and prettiest girl is thin that I would love to break this dynamic. Also, I would hit Stella for being (and having been raised) like a princess. Having a great fashion sense and not caring when people talk about her weight. She would like her body. (A little fed up with chubby girls being depressed for being chubby.) Mind you, chubby is not obese.
The way I screamed when I saw the video pop up on my feed tho 😂 Anyways, love your dragonfly concept, especially the wings! It's just so much more interesting and original than other fairy designs. It makes me wonder what your spin on other transformations (like enchantix or believix, we don't talk about the other ones) would be. I've always kind of pictured Bloom's hair as a longer wolf-cut. I think some cool redesign videos are in the disney category. I think the yacification Adam from Beauty and the Beast needs to be rectified. Why does the beast form from the live action look more attractive than the human one. It needs to be more haunting and monstrous. The others are just how you would have redesigned Ariel's sisters. As I was watching, I kept thinking, "They would have been more beautiful if they actually had color." The ocean was just so dull.
Saw the trailer for the new series, it looks good at most needs some getting used to Maybe (if they still have that design for her that is) maybe it changes once she discovers who she is? Feeling like an outcast and not having friends can make you all over the place regarding fashion. You just wear what you like but all together. But that’s wishful thinking, I could probably get used to it either way if the story is well played out as well as the Transformations
First off beautiful design, but thats epected. When you know something out of the park you always go all out! I have some animated recommendations, I'll put some warnings after whem needed. 1. Blue Eye Samarai (1 season) A show about ancient china and the struggles within that time basically. (Warnings: Does show nudity and violence, otherwise if you can handle that i really reccomend.) 2. Ninjago, incliding Dragons Uprising. Its an old show but always fun to enjoy and rewatch, has great charecters and development. (Seasons, many.. I have know clue how many.) 3. Aslo lego, Dreamzz. Its a little simpler than ninjago, but it does have a fun concept. (In short, dream chases.) Also main characters actually has vitiligo!
In allot of magical girl media the leader wears pink and over the years Bloom obviously became the writers favorite and became the leader let's be real Bloom is the favorite child of the show so I think that's why they added pink to her design
Alright, now I'm waiting for Stella 'cuz she's my favorite and I would love to see the twist with her Sun and Moon powers. Also, have you watched "Stella's moon powers explained"? I love how it was there all along. Light blue accent also reminds of moon in her first transformation. I would think the VERY first transformation would be something important, something to celebrate. And it would be different from the base tranformation and next others. I would think it'll be more...raw. Yeah, more raw than refined because it's when fairies first transform. All because I want the feeling of it being DIY. I'm guilty pffhahahah ....it's because of Bloom. I'm sure she's a DIY girl, why not. If there's basic sun and royalty, and flame?.., means gold. Then why not make moon and royalty be silver? Or light blue like Stella has. Why not make up completely made up moon ore, yeh why not. I would think Layla will have the Moon side. Moon definetely influences waters, why on Andros it won't take effect?

Not going to lie, but i feel weird every time someone mentions winxs club since i apparently watched it as a kid when i was 6, but i don't have any memory of it. The only thing i remember is my birthday cake that was techna themed ( not sure if that's how you spell it), so it's kinda interesting to hear all the details about it.

I used to love watching Winx Club as a kid when i had commercial (i dont remember much now) especially that one movie where Bloom found her birth parents and its in 3d
But after seeing the leaks and hearing the news of this new series....... wtf i'd probably prefer the netflix series than those designs, they arent as iconic as the OG series

Winx club was part of my childhood!
I never really watched Winx club, for a few reasons, but one of them was the emphasis on technology. Like I don’t mind the idea of mixing fantasy and sci-fi stuff together, but I wanted some more of the fantasy aspect. (I only remember a few of the first couple episodes, so they might have gone more into it in later seasons, but still) Also, I LOVE the bug-like aspects of the fairy design! I like imagining that if fairies were real, they would look like bugs to not be seen. So I’m very glad I’m not the only one who thinks that. Although I know next to nothing about Winx club, I’m still excited for your other redesigns cause I just like your ideas for designs and characters. 💙

When I was a kid Winx club was my favorite cartoon and my favorite fairy was Bloom and in my opinion her seasons 1-2 casual outfit was my favorite also I didn't grew up with wachting the english dub

Tbh, i didnt mind that Aisha was green mainly since she was originally the Fairy of Fluids and had more spells dealing in Plasma (like her Morphix) than actual water. Which sidenote, I loved since you hardly see a water type magic user with plasma based spells. The only one i can think of is Bella from H20 as she could turn water into a gelatin-like state.
Aisha's morphix is water. It's the molecular level...plasma is a form of water and her applications of it are literally her like her Enchantix shield of every kid's favorite thing to say when annoyed with each other "I'm rubber, you're glue". The Cinelumè dub didn't explain that, but 4kids did.
@@Superlad9494 I know. However, she still used plasma more than regular water spells. Which I do love as it's really an underutilized type of water manipulation.
@@ceeford9919 just call her a Star Sapphire...she uses it like the violet branch of lanterns, although they were treating it like training wheels until she was ready for real water.
This redesign is so pretty, especially the fairy form! I’m a lover of more fantastical transformations in media. I watched Winx as a kid and one of the things I’ve always loved most are the outfits; the originals are not my favorite out of them all but they’re still really good. I love the simple, modern-at-the-time 2000s-style. I think that separated Winx from other girls fantasy shows. I’m disappointed that the reboot is going for a more frilly girly style for the fairy forms- and the big wings- but maybe it’ll be good, who knows..
Now I'm SUPER obsessed with the idea of how you will handle the colors in Aurora's live action outfit _→ ↓
She always had something going on with her colors whether it was
- Blue
- Pink
- A mix of the two as in the movie/the color shifting fabric ones from the parks and cosplays.
- Purple (given that is what pink and blue mix into).
- All three forming a pink + blue to purple gradient within some of the artwork and dolls ect.
- That’s not even getting into green thanks to the live action sequel.
Nor is that getting into the fact that Aurora had blue eyes in her film then purple ones in her marketing thanks to her clashing with Cinderella. I’ll always be a purple eyes stan tho, they're such a pretty color for her.
How I wish some shows could take over your vision- I always love to hear you tell us why you chose certain aspects in a design! I am also super happy you included her artistic hobby into her design, I feel like that aspect of her was lost after season 1.
I am also obsessed with the idea that she knows historical facts that no one really knows about, I would have eaten that up!
I am also not particularly fond of the new official designs, especially not the fairy forms. They just kinda look like athleisure and feel a bit too monotonous.

Actually... I really like the redesign version of Bloom that you made, plus she's my favorite character. I always thought that Bloom's design should add a few hints that she was a fairy and a princess but doesn't know she is. But still i really like the design. 😊

i love idea of dragonfly wings for Bloom, because not only we get a pun, but also you could emphesize her conection to her sister by making Daphnes wings based on damselfly (bonus pun for daphnes title of nymph)
i hate the legwarmers on the reboot's design but i kinda dig the rest of it, it feels like an outfit a teen with a limited budget would put together to stand out more. and i wish they'd stop trying to shift her out of cool tone outfits, her hair is not favorable to pinks and purples.

Aisha/Layla isn't the fairy of water. She's the fairy of fluids specialising in morphix (Which she created herself. Icon.). I believe it was changed in english for cultural reasons but don't quote me on that. So while water is part of her domain, she's far more versatile and original than just that.
On the human with wings looks, they do technically turn small but it’s just an ability they gain
However they need to become "true fairies" to be able to turn small so there’s that
They’re technically not true fairies until they properly earned their enchantix

I enjoyed the details that you incorporated some great information and insight on the series, as well as your opinion on the reboot. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I thought your redesign of Bloom was absolutely awesome. I really enjoyed how you incorporated some different color schemes into your designs. In addition to that, I really enjoyed the fact that you made Bloom have more of a dragonfly look to hear in her fairy form.

Personally, I would love for Stella to be chubby. There is so much content where the most popular and prettiest girl is thin that I would love to break this dynamic. Also, I would hit Stella for being (and having been raised) like a princess. Having a great fashion sense and not caring when people talk about her weight. She would like her body. (A little fed up with chubby girls being depressed for being chubby.) Mind you, chubby is not obese.

It's great that someone finally gives her a design that makes sense, I was tired of her turning into a generic character by the end of the series. I mean, in the later seasons, when you put all the Winx side by side, you can't even tell Bloom's the protagonist. Good thing you fixed that!

I've always kind of pictured Bloom's hair as a longer wolf-cut.
I think some cool redesign videos are in the disney category. I think the yacification Adam from Beauty and the Beast needs to be rectified. Why does the beast form from the live action look more attractive than the human one. It needs to be more haunting and monstrous.
The others are just how you would have redesigned Ariel's sisters. As I was watching, I kept thinking,
"They would have been more beautiful if they actually had color." The ocean was just so dull.

Maybe (if they still have that design for her that is) maybe it changes once she discovers who she is? Feeling like an outcast and not having friends can make you all over the place regarding fashion. You just wear what you like but all together.
But that’s wishful thinking, I could probably get used to it either way if the story is well played out as well as the Transformations
First off beautiful design, but thats epected. When you know something out of the park you always go all out!
I have some animated recommendations, I'll put some warnings after whem needed.
1. Blue Eye Samarai (1 season) A show about ancient china and the struggles within that time basically. (Warnings: Does show nudity and violence, otherwise if you can handle that i really reccomend.)
2. Ninjago, incliding Dragons Uprising. Its an old show but always fun to enjoy and rewatch, has great charecters and development. (Seasons, many.. I have know clue how many.)
3. Aslo lego, Dreamzz. Its a little simpler than ninjago, but it does have a fun concept. (In short, dream chases.) Also main characters actually has vitiligo!

In allot of magical girl media the leader wears pink and over the years Bloom obviously became the writers favorite and became the leader let's be real Bloom is the favorite child of the show so I think that's why they added pink to her design

Also, have you watched "Stella's moon powers explained"? I love how it was there all along. Light blue accent also reminds of moon in her first transformation.
I would think the VERY first transformation would be something important, something to celebrate. And it would be different from the base tranformation and next others.
I would think it'll be more...raw. Yeah, more raw than refined because it's when fairies first transform. All because I want the feeling of it being DIY. I'm guilty pffhahahah
....it's because of Bloom. I'm sure she's a DIY girl, why not.
If there's basic sun and royalty, and flame?.., means gold. Then why not make moon and royalty be silver? Or light blue like Stella has. Why not make up completely made up moon ore, yeh why not. I would think Layla will have the Moon side. Moon definetely influences waters, why on Andros it won't take effect?

The series, not the movie- it's really cool, it has werewolfs and lizard people and werefoxes and such. Don't want to spoil anything, but it also has forbidden love, and I love it very much. Not going to lie, but i feel weird every time someone mentions winxs club since i apparently watched it as a kid when i was 6,
but i don't have any memory of it. The only thing i remember is my birthday cake that was techna themed ( not sure if that's how you spell it), so it's kinda interesting to hear all the details about it.
