Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Those finds are amazing. It's hard to pick a favorite. Those boys having pure fun is refreshing to see...warms up my heart! Your videos are awesome!
45ft tides every 6hrs. When we found it the first time it was a fresh fall. It probably only lasted a few tides before breaking up. I should have taken it or at least dragged it up past the high water mark. I'm kicking myself every time I think about it.
It's always a fun trip with your boys along. Sorry that the big one got away. I loved all the limb casts. The cliff face with all the beautiful rocks made me drool. Keep the goodness coming. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
@@RockhoundingLife i haven't forgot to take some pictures and send them to your email i allmost had my rock room done but my lady wanted me to paint it haha i will send the info for petty harbour and my rocks when i get it done
Jason, you and the junior genius(es) are so lucky/blessed to have such incredible locations nearby! What a great way to spend a day and create great memories. 👋
I don't even know where to begin. What a stellar video. Everything was awesome. I can imagine how bummed you must of been for battery to cut out and not find that huge cycad. I'm not gonna lie I was anticipating you finding it and getting it back home and cleaned up. That was very cool using Chases cam and showcasing his excellent find! That beach with all the agate faces i thought you stumbled into Tir Na Nog or something...was incredible! I was so glad this video popped up while I was enjoying dinner. Was amazed by all the mind blowing rocks. My favorite was all of them, LOL. But, that plume agate was insane. Thank you so much for taking us along on that adventure to the creek and the beach. Rock on 😁🤘
Hey man thanks for the kind words! It was a huge let down not finding the big cycad but i'm hoping it found its way off the beach and didn;t get destroyed by the tide. Thanks for watching!!
Those little cycads are such treasures...some of the smallest ones were my favorite! And that was pretty entertaining watching the boys try to run up that embankment...i got a good laugh out of that. Happy Adventures guys
Those cycads are so cool ! Sorry you couldn’t find the big one . I was wondering how you and the boys were going to get it outs there ? That woulda been some work ! When the boys get a little bigger you are gonna have quite the rock hounding team . You could rig up a sled and they could pull it ?? Lol !! Thanks for taking us along to such a cool place !! Keep rockin!!👍😎
I was going to load it up in my pack. We had taken everything else back to the car and unloaded. I only would have had to walk about 300-400 meters with it.
You are a lucky man! get to go rockhounding in the best spot I've seen. And, your sons like to go with you. It looks like a great time! Thanks for the vids!
The large red jasper agate, looking at that and its lines reminds me of looking into the eyes of a human. I suppose you could say you are looking into the soul of the earth!
I have found something remarkable similar to that banded plume agate at the beginning of the slide show. At first that may just sound like any good find but the rock that I found was on Lake Ontario which as far as I’m aware has no true agates in it, when I say true agate I mean ones that have banding like Lake Superior agates. Regardless I always enjoys your Rockhounding videos they always seem like an awesome adventure!
Awesome finds, good job guys... Have you found or heard of cycad on the Parrsboro shore? Your production is getting better and better, BTW. Bummed about you camera setting. Do you have a spare battery?
I've never found one on the Parsborro shore. They just don;t make it around the cape. And the Scot's bay formation doesn't outcrop over there ....to my knowledge. It was my phone camera battery and it was because I was accidentally filming in 8k. Lesson learned!

Great Job filming Chase
It's crazy to see how fast nature can break down rock. All wonderful finds!

Thanks!! Yeah it was a bummer for sure not finding the big one again. Maybe someone came and got it. It would be a shame if it were destroyed.
I loved the Chase Cam lol the first agate he showed was my favorite of the day!
He loves filming!
Those limb cast are killer! I love the colours and fortifications in them!

100%
I hate that you didn't find that monster limb cast. I still think you have the most beautiful place in the world to Rockhound!
You and me both!! 😫
one agate looked like crazy lace
Yes a lot of our agates have a crazy lace feature and they are usually pink.

Thanks! The great lakes area seems to be very similar with respect to volcanic as our area. Lots of similar type rocks. Thanks for watching!

@@RockhoundingLife I had assumed as much with the formation. With all the water fording you guys do, do you have muck boots?
@@jagers4xford471 we have rubber boots
zeolite is so beautiful.
