The amethyst was incredible! The banding on both ends of that limb cast almost looked like crazy lace agate. That was definitely the find of that trip! I have high hopes for your hunts this year!!

I like how you explain the geology of the areas you hunt and the things you find. I've never heard of cycads until I've seen your videos. Could you explain what they are a little better, perhaps? They are petrified wood, conifers? Omg! That is one of the coolest finds I've ever seen! I was going to say you should leave it as is, but then you already said you were going to. Yes so true it’s only going to get the better and I love what you found on your beach I have gone out a few times here and kind of been skunked but I will try some more you live in a beautiful area I live in New England outside of Boston Massachusetts no I just have to do some Long Beach walking when the weather gets nice you found some beautiful stones made love to have a piece of those But I will look and see what I can fine have a good day with your boys enjoy your time out and may you find some more rocks keep rocking on

its crazy to think cycads grow in sub tropical climates and you are in a very cold climate. Historical geology is fascinating!!! Your find of the year would be a find of a lifetime for me hahahahaha
