Thanks for watching everyone! This isn't our entire collection obviously but I wanted to get a good representation in there of all the different types of agates we have and not make the video too long. I probably missed a couple of types but this gives you an idea! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!
i love learning about these agates,it was just recently that I came to understand where and how agates are formed, thanks to a video from Currently Rockhounding !
First... wow! Second... gorgeous! Third... probably the best variety of agates collection I've ever seen and I've watched a lot of different channels. Forth... what a huge collection, I have 5 agates and you need a microscope to see any banding. Thanks for sharing these amazing pieces.
The seam agate ALWAYS impresses. I want to get my hands on a piece. Bay of Fundy is a bucket list place. Maybe 2 buckets. Thanks for the supercool video, vas always !
Incredible collection can’t decide which Agates I like the best, tube Agates, flame Agates, all so beautifully polished. I think my favorites are the Agates that are polished and also show the natural way they were found. 👍
wow this is just awesome! I actually found my first sagenite agate here in Oregon a few weeks ago! I love how the sprays shoot out radially from all directions. These are all really beautiful, your polishing looks just phenomenal! Thanks for showing :)
Thanks Mitch! Our sagenite agates are mostly chaledony replacement of natrolite and stilbite crystals. If you can find one that isn't too worn down from the beach you can get some spectacular spray patterns in different colors.
@@RockhoundingLife you are very welcome, but I want to thank you, as you’ve been such a motivation to me as I’ve learned so much from your channel, I now have a high tech diamond slab saw, and I just ordered an All you need flat lap as well, used your code and saved a bunch of money on some extra disks and blades, take care thanks again, hope to see you guys on beach sometime. Wow, very impressive! I guess that's what could be called an all-inclusive agate trip? I think my favorites are the Sagenite & Eye varieties; they are incredible. Thanks for sharing and the details as to why you guys have such a buffet of agates in NS, :-)
Think my favourites are the cycads. Love the colours and how they are formed to give us these beauties. Don’t know how I would leave that place. Amazing.
Every one is so unique! I really love the darker tones... And the eye agates. Have you tumbled any of the pet wood yet? I'm about to post a viddy of my personal display of rocks and minerals I finally arranged all nicely. I realized...i need more shelves! Lol
I haven't tumbled any of the Saddle Mountain pet wood yet. I have something special planned for some of it which i'm hoping to get to in the next month or so.
Thank you for the explanation I always used to pick up fancy stuff at the beach as a kid and always told to leave it nothing quite extravagant as you have shown... im on the other side of the bay... these videos have all inspired me to pop out and get hunting again... my boys are loving it and I'm starting to make pendants for my daughter😃... safe journeys 🤗
I really got a lot out of your explanation of the basalt shoreline of the Bay of Fundy. I live on the NB side and, although we find lots of interesting fossils, I travel to the NS side to look for the interesting agates.
I really enjoyed your explanation of why the agates are there in the bay! Almost identical to how Lake Superior Agates formed and came to be. We just had the added Glacial action. Is the only reason that you find them die to wave action or was there previous glaciaction in the area?
@@RockhoundingLife Very cool! The basalt here in MN along the northern shore of Lake Superior is the source of ours. Glacial activity is the only reason we find them where we do.

I like the natural/polished look too. Just like they were found wet on the beach.

There was glaciation in the area but the basalt cliffs are the source and are eroded away by the tides.

Love the show.... hate the background music..
Super annoying and I had to mute the entire show..
But boy are those specimens beautiful.
What would you like to hear instead? Different music? Me talking? Nothing?
Isn't mother nature a wonderful artist!
Absolutely!!
