    I am a retiree from a financial institution..and I have come to understand that very few people are financially literate. I have to thank my former employer for educating us about planning and budgeting. I am not saying that everyone learnt from it but I certainly did. There are a myriad of ways that people can survive..and even thrive..on the money they have in their pockets. Being wise in the ways you spend your money..being more self sufficient by preparing meals etc..finding ways to cut down on using electricity..water..gas etc goes a long way to eliminating the stress of living. I

    Very very informative. I think folks living away think things are cheap and when they visit they spend bc of course they’re on vacay. The reality of day to day is real in any country you live in. Thanks for keeping it real❤ love you and the wife . ❤ from Florida/ NY

    Thanks again for your information vlogs and for sharing this type of info. I enjoy these budgeting vlogs that you do and find them useful. When you give a price I like to compare it with prices /cost of living here in toronto and so far most things work out to be approximately the same dollar wise. 👍🇹🇹🇨🇦🥂💕🇹🇹

    Thank you so much for this video. I am trini descent living in Canada. I was considering moving my family to Trinidad for my toddler to start school in another year. When I converted your total for the week, compared to my weekly cost of living. It's expensive. You drive to work and I take the Express bus to Manhattan which is costly. If I go into the city to work for three days, I pay $41.00 dollars. For me I think my cost of living is also expensive.

    Hey Rajiv, compliments on another great video and keep up the good work.
    While I did enjoy the video, I would be remiss not to suggest that other mandatory expenses be included in a video highlighting recurrent expenses in the life of the average Trinidadian such as rent/mortgage payment (because we all gotta live somewhere) and life insurance, annuity payments (because any sane Trini should at least have life or medical insurance if not a personal pension plan for their retirement).
    Looking forward to seeing more of your videos, stay blessed and be safe!

    • @TrinbagoVibes
      @TrinbagoVibes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks and ihu, but I didn’t include those because I don’t pay rent (at least not on a monthly basis) and I didn’t have to pay for those others insurance during the week that I choose,that’s why I stated in the video this is basically what I spend and it would vary for others
