VERY IMPORTANT WHEN COMING OUT OF A FAST!!!! DONT EAT TOO MUCH AS YOUR BODY ISNT USED TO EATING ALOT OF FOOD. IF YOU INSTANTLY START EATING TONS OF FOOD, IT CAN RESULT IN CARDIAC ARREST!
Hey, Human buddy! I REALLY have to thank you for this video!!! I have been actually lazing around and not feeling hungry (thus being satisfied with only one meal a day) for two days when this video came out and introduced me to ketosis, which really fascinated me! It reminded me of multiple other people who successfully lost weight through fasting/ intermittent fasting and I decided I was going to jump into this properly (since I’m not too bad at going without food for many hours)! I’m already on my second week and I’m not medically qualified to guarantee if I’m right or wrong about this… but just yesterday, I felt something almost incredible happening in my body. After the 18th hour, I felt so lightweight, energetic, alert, with no cravings/hunger pangs at all smoothly for the next 5 hours! It was almost saddening to break my fast after 24 hours but I’m not going to overdo myself yet as I’m still getting to know my body better. But I’m really loving this potential change in lifestyle and my relationship with food and maybe I’ll finally get into shape! Thanks to you for introducing us to this topic! 🤩
Sounds great! Any tips for someone looking to try this for the first time? 7 days sounds quite intense, do you think I can still benefit from a 3 day fast?

yes, but this is a different kind of fasting. This kind of fasting is when you don't eat at all for an extended period of time, however fasting during Ramadan is when you don't eat, drink, or have sexual relations from dawn to sunset. Coming from another Muslim, by the way. Please correct me if I made any mistakes in my explanation!
3:06 "kids shouldn't do any type of fasting. They are growing up so their bodies have different demands." ya so do the demands of adults that range from low physical activity to high physical activity. if you want to lose weight, do more walking/jogging/running, don't starve yourself.
There are a lot of athletes that regularly fast. You in fact must starve yourself to a degree to lose weight. You can run all day but it won't change anything if you're also eating 3 large pizzas. Calorie deficit.
good content, appreciated the video and it's informative nature! I have personally never done any fasting, but this made me curious about implementing it to change my life
Dear Muslims, we are talking about fasting for 7 dâys aka 168 hours consecutively. Unlike your Ramadan fasting ok. Your Ramadan fasting is just like IF for 30 days.
I'm actually so thankful for clicking on this video because as a 14 year old I have only fasted for 24h+ and have been thinking of fasting for seven days. Realisation hit me hard because I am still just a child and shouldn't be depriving my body of what it needs for growth. :')
On my 8th day of fasting and going strong! 💪 I had a huge craving for roasted chicken today, but talking to my brother about it helped me tone it down. I'm doing great again, super proud of myself and happy that I have him to discuss stuff like that. Not many people are accepting of fasting.
I started a fast back at the start of October. It was supposed to be for a week and I ultimately failed day 3 but after those first 48 hours, I wasn’t hungry. The rest of the week I ate minimally, things like nuts, pickles or apples. This described perfectly how i was feeling and I would love to try a full 7 days. Even though I had only completely fasted for 2 days, I still lost 9 lbs. I’m not saying everyone will lose 9 lbs, it might be because I’m fairly overweight, not quite sure. (And this was with minimal exercises like light weight lifting and sit ups)
I love your content keep up the good work human buddies and as a thank you for making these amazing vids I just joined your Patreon and subscribed! keep on the good work! ❤❤💖💖
A couple things to keep in mind is that you have to drink a lot of water if you are doing a only water fasting, also you can do cardio but it’s not recommended to workout or lift weights at all
“So, if I eat a pepperoni pizza, half of it will be converted into this sugary stuff called glucose?” I WAS EATING PEPPERONI PIZZA AS STOMACH SAID THAT
But put in mind: Ketoses is mentioned as a back-up plan from the body. It means your body and brain get into a stressful status. Thats why you feel euphoric after a few day of fasting. It also means your body will try to get its lost fat back.
this is one of the reasons Muslims fast for 30 days in Ramadan and it also makes us know how the poor feels who has nothing to eat we have known this more then a thousand years ago
Another type of fasting is called Ramadan, Ramadan is usually done by Muslims, This type of fasting is done by not eating until 6:00pm, Or even 8:00pm in S. Korea! Yes, you don't eat until sunset, You repeat this for 30 days, or more! Ramadan is usually done from March to April, After Ramadan, you can eat normally, or if you want to continue, it's fine! Thanks for reading this.
In Jainism, we have our festival called, "Paryushan" where Stage 1: We abstain from eating any ground vegetables, and green vegetables. And we only eat, and drink boiled water between the sunrise, and sunset. Stage 2: We extend onto this and only eat one meal, and drink boiled water before the sunset Stage 3: We abstain from eating anything, and only drink boiled water between sunrise, and sunset (as long as we want; however, there are some amount of days which are preferred like: 1, 3, 7-8, 10, and so on) Stage 3 is the 2nd most respected one, and can go beyond 1 month. Some monks have done it for several months on a stretch. Also, we take high precautions not to kill any living being during this month. We wear normal cotton-white kurta pyjamas, and other garments, and wear a mouth patch to prevent entering, and swallowing of any small organism. Some of us pray daily. However, a grand prayer is held at the last day where everyone gathers, and prays together while repeatedly bowing, and standing, and joining hands and such, and asking for forgiveness from every living being we may have hurt knowingly/unknowingly hurt. After, the prayer, we hug each other and say, "Micchami Dukadam" which is a heartfelt apology seeking forgiveness from the one it's said to. Note: All Jains are vegetarians, so by default no meat products are part of our diet including eggs. Additional fun-fact: There is a brutal Stage 4 as well, where a person neither drinks food, nor drinks water. It's a tormenting fast where a person may choose to do it for several days (and that's not all), some do it for as long as they are alive doing it (yeah, you heard that right) It's basically not seen as a death sentence, but as a means which is meant to liberate the soul, according to our tradition. In case I haven't mentioned it already, it occurs once a year for slightly more than a month just like Ramadan.

You ate during the night, that's not a 29 day fast lil buddy, a 29 day fast would be 29 days no solid food@@farisalsadig5914
I agree, the human body is a perfect machine, it expells bad stuff from our body (sadly it doesn't expel toxic personalities...).
The brain literally sounds like if you pressed the text to speech button on an article 😂
Yo this is so cool!!! Keep it up!!!
Will we ever get an episode about the appendix?
What's the appendix?
Wait your the same company as sollar balls, your company's videos rock and are so informative I give you a solid 10/10 fr
Thank you ☺️ and I will keep my self healthy ❤weeeeee love you 🤩🤩🤩
good content, appreciated the video and it's informative nature! I have personally never done any fasting, but this made me curious about implementing it to change my life
Dear Muslims, we are talking about fasting for 7 dâys aka 168 hours consecutively. Unlike your Ramadan fasting ok. Your Ramadan fasting is just like IF for 30 days.
No one asked
More like not eating from sunrise to sunset for 29-30 days to be exact 👍
Don’t panic left lung…that’s hilarious 😂😂 for some reason
I'm actually so thankful for clicking on this video because as a 14 year old I have only fasted for 24h+ and have been thinking of fasting for seven days. Realisation hit me hard because I am still just a child and shouldn't be depriving my body of what it needs for growth. :')
On my 8th day of fasting and going strong! 💪 I had a huge craving for roasted chicken today, but talking to my brother about it helped me tone it down. I'm doing great again, super proud of myself and happy that I have him to discuss stuff like that. Not many people are accepting of fasting.
Fun fact this video was released close to when christian lent has started

I started a fast back at the start of October. It was supposed to be for a week and I ultimately failed day 3 but after those first 48 hours, I wasn’t hungry. The rest of the week I ate minimally, things like nuts, pickles or apples. This described perfectly how i was feeling and I would love to try a full 7 days. Even though I had only completely fasted for 2 days, I still lost 9 lbs. I’m not saying everyone will lose 9 lbs, it might be because I’m fairly overweight, not quite sure. (And this was with minimal exercises like light weight lifting and sit ups)
Fun fact we Muslims do that every Ramadan *a time between march and April* where Muslims fast since sunrise till sunset for a month
Let's go 0:48

If you guys say that theres no lore, why do you keep The Doctor and The Human so secretive
i need to know everything about them... i need my content
I, MatPat, have answered your calls.
A couple things to keep in mind is that you have to drink a lot of water if you are doing a only water fasting, also you can do cardio but it’s not recommended to workout or lift weights at all
Thanks for including fasting lolol
This is a good presentation.
“So, if I eat a pepperoni pizza, half of it will be converted into this sugary stuff called glucose?”
I WAS EATING PEPPERONI PIZZA AS STOMACH SAID THAT
Nice... Can you just confirm if 50% got converted into glucose? JK
stomach's gonna have a rough time without food
Yeah

now hes back to normal as always
But put in mind: Ketoses is mentioned as a back-up plan from the body. It means your body and brain get into a stressful status. Thats why you feel euphoric after a few day of fasting. It also means your body will try to get its lost fat back.
It was great you explain fasting very well 😉
this is one of the reasons Muslims fast for 30 days in Ramadan and it also makes us know how the poor feels who has nothing to eat we have known this more then a thousand years ago
Its not called fasting. Its feast two times a day.
Muslims do NOT fast for30 days. That’s called dying
As a Christian, I fast 2x a year for 30 days. Worth every moment ❤
but i am already skinny and i don't want to see my weight in negative numbers☠
Then you don’t need to fast
@@ROXELL ohh thanks I'll not but you unknowingly made me bit more skinner😁
Oh golly jee the thumbnail 😍
Fasting and not eating are different
Clearing this up:
Fasting is a choice
Not eating is incidental
Even tho this comment doesn't fit under this video
Facts
Yes and no
@@Midas-œ fasting also allows you to eat vegan/vegetarian/pescetarian and not eating is not eating
I thought fasting was when you eat more…. 😂

True,it’s like fasting everyday for a month
I’m pretty sure the end of it is also a festival called Eid-ul-fitr
In Jainism, we have our festival called, "Paryushan" where
Stage 1: We abstain from eating any ground vegetables, and green vegetables. And we only eat, and drink boiled water between the sunrise, and sunset.
Stage 2: We extend onto this and only eat one meal, and drink boiled water before the sunset
Stage 3: We abstain from eating anything, and only drink boiled water between sunrise, and sunset (as long as we want; however, there are some amount of days which are preferred like: 1, 3, 7-8, 10, and so on) Stage 3 is the 2nd most respected one, and can go beyond 1 month.
3 day fast every 4 months is where it’s at 👌🏼
i wonder if every of their channels have their own studio, like do you guys have a voice actor here in human buddy that is also a voice actor in solarballs?
