***** What others don't realize, is there's a major difference in change and evolve. Change is being something that your not, just to fit in with the crowd and not staying true to yourself. Evolving is being you, while adapting to new styles, sounds, lyrics, etc. They are the same ATR since they first started, but in my opinion have matured greatly. If people don't like their new stuff and prefer the older kind, there is a easy fix for that. Listen to the older stuff, and quit bitching while those that enjoy them as they are now will listen to their newer stuff.
On this album perhaps. I wouldnt know I stopped listening to their discography after Overcome. But compare their body of work from the beginning to Overcome and then post Overcome and tell me there isn't a drastic change in their song structure and body of work. You people call it maturity, I call it a radical musical shift (and not the positive kind for me), one that I don't wish to follow anymore.
Well, The Last Time and The Waiting One are softer.. but people say that like softer is a bad thing. I think For We Are Many is one of their best because not only did the band experiment with softer songs, but on some tunes they went even heavier. I think they only really jumped ship with the most recent couple of albums.

This question made me think, first I thought is it an umbrella academy reference but that came out two years ago and it’s a 6 year old post, then I watched the video and saw he got fired from umbre la but that means nothing to me so I’m at a dead end there. Then I thought maybe you were referencing the umbrella corporation from the resident evil franchise, nothing backs that up in the video but maybe you were just making a joke while doing this thinking I was trying to decipher the videos meaning and I really don’t know what it’s about. 2 broken people and a family who can’t see it? Then lies the question of what does the sandy wind mean and reversal of time at the end I’m not sure. What I do know is the video reminds me of “coming down” by five finger death punch. Welp that’s enough probably wrong analysis for one comment.

The first time i saw them live was at El Paso amd for free!!! It was ATR and 5FDP with Hatebreed. Brooo best concert I've been to. I was so full of adrenaline I couldn't sleep all night long. One of the best experiences of my life.

This sums up my relationship with my ex, she was so.... toxic that even my friends and family started worrying about my mental health, when I had them point my depression out I realized she was the reason for my change, I'M MUCH HAPPIER now that I couldn't hold on.
This will always be a song/video that will hit me close to home it shows how no matter how put together you do or don't seem some of us are barely keeping it together
Saw these guys in Baldwinsville NY in 2011. One of the best concerts I've been to. Been a fan for a long time! If you get a chance to see these guys live i would highly recommend it.
