Big Bankz has a kindness and respectfulness that I enjoy. I’ve been a nurse many years. You learn to read people. Your respectfulness to the properties and previous occupants is heart felt.
Watching abandoned houses like this one, keeps reminding me....You can't take it with you. Put your money and time into heartfelt things. Family time and charities. Keeps me from not wanting to buy stuff. Only necessity for living.
Deanna, I wish people would give more time to family and charities. These days it's go, go,go. Also it's what's in it for me. God bless you for your comment.🙏 Cathy, 🌻, Ohio, 🇱🇷
Cool Charities. Donate to the thieves? Grandparents most likely had a will for the family and the family took all items that meant the most to them. Everyones got a life they don’t need to be reminded that they’re grandparents have passed at every corner of their home, instead everyone builds their family memories. Rip, they’re now the past.
Belgium has a lot of beautiful, clean, abandoned buildings with everything left behind. They leave behind their memories for explorers like you whom can tell its history without saying much. Thank you for taking us along with you! Good job! 🤜🤛
Nice house with beautiful furniture 👌 I am from Belgium. I think this house is not far from Germany, there are stuff from Germany. The little sink are used for just washing the hands. Most of us have these little sink. The first foto you are showing, was not the husband ,but was our king Boudewijn, he passed away years ago and his wife named Fabiola, she was Spanish. Thank you for showing this beautiful house 🤗
This is incredible ~ Mine heart breaks over the thought of her heir not taking ownership of such a lavish inheritance. I am now curious to hear the daughter’s story, as to why…
Big Bankz this is the best one yet!! You really did Cornelia right by telling her story. She seems like a true Queen 👑! This house is the best one yet!! Fantastic job on this! I hope your video can prompt the saving and restoration of a truly magnificent home!! Safe travels and God Bless🙏🇳🇱🐝
I don't think its been abandoned its to clean ...I think the daughter has just left it until she gets round to sorting it out.Thank you for putting this on I love looking around these old property's.
What an incredible find. Just beautiful. Congrats to you. All this stuff should be worth a real fortune. I hope that someone can come back and preserve this house. It needs to be saved and lived in again. My thanks for the old tour and stay safe.
Your award is well deserved BigBankz. Love your explores - particularly when you explore with Explomo. You are both very professional, respectful and have your own individual styles. Keep it going and you will soon be up to 200,000! Thank you for keeping us entertained and intrigued by your great explorations 👍
THIS HOUSE IS SO BEAUTIFUL ❤️ THAT LADY HAD THE BEST TASTE... I WISH I WON THE LOTTERY BECAUSE THAT HOUSE IS A DREAM HOUSE... JUST MOVE IN AND CLEAN IT UP... IT'S ABSOLUTELY STUNNING 😍❤️
Where is her daughter and family i could never do this to my grandparents it breaks my heart to see it like this so sad. It is a beautiful home and beautiful furniture
maybe her daughter just couldn't bate to go back in the house maybe it hurt her to much to although I understand you completely and I chat believe no one came in to get anything back to keep
maybe her daughter just couldn't bare to go back in the house maybe it hurt her to much to although I understand you completely and I can't believe no one came in to get anything back to keep
I hope Cornelia's daughter can at least sell the antiques or donate to a museum so they do not fall victim to rot & decay. None of us know what her relationship was with her parents so maybe she did not have a happy childhood there. Or maybe she is too heartbroken to deal with it. Regardless, I hope this home & contents are not subject to further ravages of time. Thanks BigBankz for another great explore & thanks to Explomo for taking you along!!
This was absolutely amazing! And so sad..... Beautiful furniture lost forever in this time capsule home........ But watching you go through it made it come to life one more time to see what the couple did in their daily activity. Thank you for their memories!
What I love about your adventures is that you always know the story about the place you are exploring. Puts and gives a personal touch on it. Beautiful place.
Looks like it’s being maintained. The furniture is still being dusted and although there is a lot of stuff all over the place, there are no broken windows or cobwebs hanging off of everything. Very beautiful place, I wonder why the daughter just doesn’t sell it if she doesn’t want to live there. Maybe legal reasons.
This place was absolutely incredible! The architecture was outstanding and all of the antiques were really something to behold. What a beautiful home. Very clean. Thank you so much for documenting that. With love from California😘🇺🇸😎 also congratulations on your plaque. That’s pretty cool. Means you’re doing something right! Cool on you!
I like how respectful you are and when you describe what you are showing us it’s like she is still there . You speak very slow and low . You make me want to enjoy going through because you are right it is amazing to get to go through it unspoilt 🤗
I really like the houses from France and Portugal and Belgium compared to the houses in the USA. The homes tell so much of a story with the houses being furnished and you are just taken back in time.
Hi Big Bankz, In Belgium, yes I was wondering that too, after Monica put her Mother Cornelia in the nursing home in 2016, where did daughter-Monica go ? Cornelia was not 87 in this home, (when you talked about it in the bathroom upstairs), & the daughter put her in a nursing home in 2016 of what age? Ok the very small coffee cup was for Expresso coffee! Very Beautiful Curio cabinets with all the carvings, & pretty china & all the expensive furs, fur hats, & clothes, plus the unique furniture with upholstered chairs! I don`t believe Cornelia would of put a cigarette in that beautiful dish, it was not a ashtray. The chandeliers were all so pretty & everything is not dusty or cobwebs..which is strange! The small but unique carpet is called Oriental rugs, which they sell them today in USA & larger ones too! The stained glass windows are so pretty, one of my favorite things! Wow, electricity still for the lamp you turned on! The Arch Ways are so unique & love the design & French doors! I love the Sun Room, & when you said you would walk in the front door what the view you would see, the Foil Wallpaper is Gorgeous! The ceiling is so Elegant, & Beautiful with that Design! If I saw mold on the purses next to the fur coat I would of put purses by themselves somewhere else. Love the wrought iron by arch way going into kitchen! Love the opaque stained glass in each kitchen cabinet! They sell Knorr sauces & mousse in USA. The Leaf wall was the most unique thing I have ever seen before, looks like a clear adhesive you would spread over the leaves & it would dry!!! The item you didn`t know what it was called, was a Folding Screen or Dressing Screen to get dressed behind it! This was a Great Find, Thanks Big Brankz for the journey into this lovely home of Cornelia!! Take care & stay safe from Illinois USA
Fantastic find. I appreciate how you state facts, speak softly and respect the treasures. So hard to imagine how it's all left. I'd love to have an amour.
My family is from Belgium, so the furniture they had looked very similar to the furniture in this house. This brings back many wonderful memories of my grandparents and of my great aunt, as well. Thank you!
I truly appreciate your improved style in presenting these explores to us. I watched Explormo do Ymir’s place with you accompanying him, He has been a long time favorite of mine. However I feel that you have incorporated a lot of his style into your narrative and it is beneficial. Keep up the good work and I will continue watching, happy exploring!
You are a wing nut and adorably clueless about several items in the places you explore, but it's definitely so charming. I really enjoy your videos. Your gentle Christian heart shows through.
Love the kitchen cabinets! The ceilings, doorways, wallpaper in foyer& up the staircase..and those leaves on the wall…AMAZING! The china cabinets were so well preserved, I can’t believe it. I think someone is taking care of this place somewhat. I mean it’s not emaculent but not much dust and not too much deterioration if any. Love it! Can’t wait for more! Peace out ✌🏼
I wonder why her daughter hasn't taken possession of the home and belongings? it's such a shame to see such a beautiful home and belongings go to waste. Thank you for being so respectful of the property and Cornelia's story.
It's only been a few years it could be really hard for her daughter to go there and go through her mother's belongings Or the property could be tied up into court. It happens a lot when someone passes away. Even if someone had a will another family member could fight that and maybe that's what's happening in this case. Now they have someone trespassing and videotaping everything and putting it on TH-cam. I love antiques and I glance at these now and then but it's just so hard for me to watch someone trespassing on another person's property and putting it on TH-cam.
@Debra Bensinger This is a beautiful home that has many unique architectural features. It's filled with many rare antiques and vintage furniture. The home and its contents have been left to decay and judging by the deterioration seen in this video it won't be long before moisture starts getting into the home. When this occurs, the home and everything within will start to rapidly decay. The video serves as a form of digital preservation that will enable current and future generations to be able to view and appreciate this historical home long after it's gone. Nothing was taken or damaged during the filming and the location was not disclosed. No harm, no foul. What I find upsetting is the fact that someone has chosen to allow this home and its contents to rot and decay unnecessarily instead of taking action to prevent this from happening.
Love your video's. You should have your own show. You have a kind and considerate way of describing each mansion that you visit. I'm a fan of yours for sure!!!
That shower thing you called Aqua form is hydro therapy for elderly. Those kitchen cabinets are slag glass inlaid! Beautiful! These people seemed to be very much appreciative of the Arts! All that detail in everything they owned! That little room looked like a home office. The leaves on the wall.... It's called foux painting made popular in the 80's
I loved the art deco ceiling in this mansion. I really like the way you give some history of the place before you explore. I also like the respect that you give to these properties. You never lose sight that this was someone’s home. Thank you
Obviously I am watching this way after you posted it. The piece you called a dresser in the first bedroom where the door opened and a desk top folds down is called a secretary. Also, the tiny tea cup you held up would have been to an asian tea set. Sometimes you can hold the cups up to the light and see a design in the bottom of the cup. The design is like a hidden picture in the glass that can only be seen with the light. I love the designs in the ceilings and walls. So pretty! This was a fabulous house! You said 100,000 subscribers a year ago when this released and now I am looking at 303K! Thanks for sharing! I love to watch your videos.
So glad that I came across your channel! You have a new subscriber! I love your appreciation and respect fulness of your explorations! You are the only exploring channel that I am subscribed to! Such a beautiful home! 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Thank you Bankz. This was a Beautiful Explore, always curious about whatever happened to family. So happy to see it in such pristine shape and not destroyed like it would be here in the United States. God bless you on your travels stay safe.
Wow as you went thru this amazing explore i could not help but giggle with you on those Cabinets for dishes. As i grew up i was in Italian and German style every thing so this place takes me back to my childhood as well.even tho i am from America . You had done an awesome service to the owners and there life style i wanna thank you for that. Peace out USA2-8-22
A remarkable home. Bit of an Art Deco feel in the downstairs décor. The old lady had an amiable collection of Persian carpets. How delightful that Explomo assisted you in locating this house. I don't think Maureno and Remon have explored it yet.
@Wim Privé I do compare Explomo to Bros of Decay. Lesley is much better than Maureno. You quite true - Explomo even went to Sweden, but those explores were quite boring. I watch Bros of Decay just for Lesley's chocolate voice.
Beautiful place. Hope vandals and thieves don't get in there. That large piece of furniture you admired, in our neck of the world, would probably be called a "hutch." And those cute little cups are used for drinking espresso. Enjoyed this video very much. Thank you.
After my grandparents passed away my family left everything in their house. I get it that the daughter maybe didn’t want anything. Probably made her sad to go back.
I find it interesting that even as an elderly lady, and possibly having her own stylist, and make up and such things, that she still had a sense of dignity. and still wanted a proper hairdo and to wear her make up perhaps as she always had. I think that is a lovely thing.
What a beautiful place lot's of beautiful things wonder where the daughter is hope she is ok hopefully one day she might come back to her home and save it

I’m glad that thieves haven’t pillaged through everything. But sad the family has just left it.
💁🏻♀️ The home isn’t in America.
(Bros of Decay explore homes all over Europe. I think only 2 of the homes they’ve shown, had been disrespected.)
Nice house with beautiful furniture 👌

This mansion was magnificent! The wood detailing, the stained glass and the furniture. It was all stunning. Congrats on your award!

💁🏻♀️Queen Bee?
Beautiful wood furniture, stained glass windows and skeleton keys. Definitely a great find. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures.
The package of sauce is Knorr and is sold all over the US. It's been around for yrs.
@@me67226 ok. I know it's American but out of curiosity what does it have to do with my comment??

Such a beautiful home
When ur in the living room there is no dust it looks so clean
Congratulations on your well deserved award ❤❤
Great explore as always thanks for all the effort you put in
After my grandparents passed away my family left everything in their house. I get it that the daughter maybe didn’t want anything. Probably made her sad to go back.
It is better to give things to the needy than to leave them to insects
What gorgeous furniture. Belgium…that’s why there’s so much carving in the wood. Another heartbreaking family tragedy.
One of my favorites! New to your channel. Love the scripture verses and love your style.
