I love the coral reef Chuck! Those blues and purples are so calming. Especially liked seeing Zacky and the cute part of the truck reversing the succulents into the garden😂👌🏼 Keep up the great work! 😊 Much love from Canberra.
Love your garden! New to your channel and I can't stop watching videos. I strive to live in a climate someday where I can afford to have a succulent garden in my yard and your garden has just inspiredd me even more :) Can't wait to see what else you do!
Hi Chuck! I love the coral reef and waterfall enhancements! I think when the donkey tail sedum takes off that will add so much dramatic effect! Also, lovely to get a glimpse into your front garden - I can see your tastes and work there, but also of what I assume must be your family members. It works well together - a very colorful tapestry.
Yeah it's mostly my mother in law working on the front garden now. As you can see it's almost filled with roses and other flowering plants. I might have to do something about the blue chalk sticks and the aeonium patch at the front though, they look like they need some trimming.
Your full garden looks like a place where I want to die. Chuck, I’ve never seen a recent full garden video and just seeing your sample, I got chills down my spine. Lol. Now I have a template for how I want my land to be configured. Thanks plenty
Love this. I'm trying to spend time outdoors as much as I can, we're in NJ and so just getting into spring. Probably about the same temperatures, but we can't grow anything except sempervivums outside here.
Hello Chuck, If you are looking to add more texture to your gardens if they seem flat, what if you created mounds of soil before planting to give your garden some height? Just a suggestion I learned from" Laura Eubanks Design for Serenity". L
Yeah, I got myself a basket of Dichondra argentea (what they call "Silver Falls" here). I'm hoping to be able to use it in an arrangement of some sort.
When you are going to get cuttings or leaves for propagation, do you water the plants before hand and wait a few days? I have a feeling that some of my leaves didn't work out because they dried up too soon. I want to know for future cuttings/props if that was my issue.
If the plant looks shriveled, then yeah I water them days before I harvest leaves (or do any chops). Also make sure to keep them away from any direct sunlight because the heat will make them lose water faster.
Sempervivum Arachnoideum might make a for a cool white swirling foam effect... But they're a bit too green to continue the water illusion. Your water arrangement is really cool! Also, what are those small white and pink echeveria in your waterfall bowl?
You know what, that's actually a good idea. Maybe mix a few here and there just to add to the gradient. We can just pretend that there's lots of algal growth dragged by the water, turning it a bit green haha!
Where do you live, i live in so cal so some of my succulents sometimes suffer in the summer and i have to move them, what do you do for them in the summer, do they burn up at all?
For thin-stemmed plants I just stick them in right away, but I make sure the soil is dry, and I do not water for the next several days. For thicker ones, I let them callous first. In my climate, it is not constantly humid so I can afford to do it. If it was always humid like in the tropics, I will probably let those thin-stemmed plants dry the cuts overnight or a couple of days before I use them.
So beautiful
I’m enjoying watching this video,i like the beautiful arrangement of your succulent so perfect ..
Hi. You have beautiful Suculent and big. I like you colection.

Hello Chuck
Looking forward to watching this
Are you still going to work or working from home?
Cheers and keep safe with your family 🙋♀️❤️
Hi Maria. I've been working from home since last week. You guys stay safe too!

I would want all of them .They are so beautiful.
Fill those hanging planters with crawling sedum so you'll get a jellyfish idea.
Yeah, I got myself a basket of Dichondra argentea (what they call "Silver Falls" here). I'm hoping to be able to use it in an arrangement of some sort.
Like it you front
5:54 I would of use the cobweb hens and chicks. Make it look like the white park of a water fall
don't have to blame your wife, your cut looks fresh
What did you think of the "coral reef"? Anything else to improve?
Also I accidentally pulled in the old intro again lol!
The river theme brings to my mind a scenery of water lilies in bloom :)
It is beautiful.....I always wanted to create a succulent reef 😊

@@Cerriscapades Ah yeah, it makes sense to move them into shade or indirect sunlight before choping them. Thanks!
I love your garden , i look at your teachings and am learning a lot from you .
I also am starting a little garden myself .
Imagine. We could live in a world where this video was 0.007x longer.
Hahahahaha!

Do you cover your outdoor plants in the winter to protect from snow?
You have so many lovely succulents of one kind. How long have you been growing them or are most purchased?
Where do you live, i live in so cal so some of my succulents sometimes suffer in the summer and i have to move them, what do you do for them in the summer, do they burn up at all?
Do you plant the cuttings immediately or do you let them callus before taking the video?

What about the max temp. in summer there ??? Here is 46 47 degree c in summer .
🤩🤩🤩💜💜
What is the ID of the plant at 11:40 in the bottom right corner?
The white one? That's an Echeveria cante.
💜👍🏻💜 x2
Make wall hangings
A year later and we are still in lockdown ugh.
Image if someone walf of the succulents .
Keep short when talking 😔
Too much talking…
