Take time for you! Sometimes the things we love to do can feel like work when we are forced to work and devote time elsewhere for whatever reason. You’re in no way obligated to any of us and we will be here if and when you do return. You take care of you, just like all of us do for ourselves. Take care and see you when you get back.
Hi ,I love your videos and I'm so glad your back .I live in South Africa and its so great to have someone on TH-cam thats in the same hemisphere as me !Thank you !!
Hi Chuck! Thank you for sharing... hope we could visit your beautiful garden it’s really awesome. Where at are you here in Melbourne? We are here at Wyndham. God bless always.
New watcher (and subscriber) I have to say, the beginning of your episode, you were super vulnerable and it was so brave that it makes me want to stick around and let you change my mind about succulents. This last year has been crazy for everyone. You did what was best for you by taking some time off of your channel to have more energy. To focus on yourself and your family. I'll stick around the channel to see if I can learn to love succulents, or at least learn a few new gardening tricks. Also, your kid is super cute and funny 😊
Good to see you back Chuck! Congratulations on your new job! The kiddos are getting bigger :) It's amazing how many flower stalks your echeverias have - gorgeous
There was a lot more of them back in spring from when they woke up from winter. Now we're seeing the early summer blooms. The frillies usually go first, then the agavoides, then many others. But since the weather has been mild this summer, I wonder if most of them would even bloom. They probably didn't get the chance to go dormant due to the lack of heat.
Chuck thank you so much for doing this. I love seeing your garden it is actually one of my favourite places and I’ve never officially been there. I know this would be scary with your new college’s, sometimes I think about doing videos and chicken out for the same reason! Also because I’m not confident on camera nor do I have the editing skills. But you do, you really have something here to be proud of
So early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy 2021!! So happy you're back! :) can't wait to see what the garden looks like every month! The sempervivum look really nice, and I can't wait to see them spread!! Hugs from Virginia! *TALL GRASS*
Hi, thank you for all the information on your Beauties! I have a question about repotting my 6" Echeveria's if their roots are longer than the pot i want to repot them in. Can you please advise? Eternally grateful, R. Garcia
I've never been this early! And I'm glad you're back I've really missed your videos. I'm in the northern hemisphere and i cant wait for winter to be over. I'm ready to play in the dirt already haha
I was lost with out you. I am so glad your back. I love to see how you save things and care for other things, you taught me so much. I be waiting to see updates on what you just did, and what is next. I did see your string of pearls still on the ground. The little glimps I got of it. It kinda looked dry? Are they rooted and doing well for you? I still havent tried mine. I am scared of our rainy season, here in Florida.
Yeah they were drying out at the beginning of summer. They are recovering now that I have the shade cloth up. I'm expecting them to thrive and spread after summer when it gets cooler.
Love your baby....she’s gorgeous. I cut top of my plants( like Black Prince) and now they have a lot of babies at the top where I cut the top off. But then come to Jack Flap.. (waiting for pup would take century...ha ha) what the easy way to propagate this one please.... Newcastle AU
Glad you’re back👍🏼I’m so jealous of your garden ! Your plants are so big! I’m curious what was your very first plant that got you started in gardening?? cuz I know you’ve said you have only been doing it a few years
Yeah I started collecting in 2016, so just under 5 years so far. I think that sounds like a good idea to include in the next episode. It's something I can easily film.
Love your vids... I bought the echeveria blue curls after watching your vids. I am living in Singapore and new to succulent plants. The colorful succulents and blue curls that I bought from Korea turn green in our climate. Any suggestions to buy succulents that can have beautiful colors all in summer?
Hi can I ask a question? Can I grow aeoniums in the Philippines? From september to January is our taglamig or in english winter time. On a average day(in Rizal or my province) in these months its just 25°- 27°c but in summertime the temperature could go up to 33°c. Will it survive and just go dormant in summer or I will say bye bye when summertime hits??
Thank you for your patience! I still can't promise weekly content but I can tell you that I'm back to being active on TH-cam now.
Glad your back! I was watching old videos lol😉

Your garden is so dreamy and ur kids are adorable💗💗👫💙💙
Do u MIST ur garden?
No I don't. I usually do a full drench, hosing down the whole thing. In summer I usually do that every weekend unless it has been raining.
