Great video review & enthusiasm! Happy to report that I've recently gotten this game to the table and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!!! Two thumbs up from me👍👍
Hey Alexander... one of your best reviews! Decided to go with North Africa myself, instead of Med... perhaps will take a look... hopefully some anzio missions. Like you, I like the DRAMA of solving logic puzzles and problem solving and reaching your mission... WARFIGHTER is my #1 game and always hands me a worthwhile challenge. Just received STUKA LEADER and THAT took me one or two days to organize all by itself... would love to see you go full throttle on that game and its 8 expansions...
Good review. Thanks for doing the video. I've played the Pacific game dozens of times - never won once - but had a blast every game. Warfighter is my favorite form of self-flagellation. 😊 You should do a 'Tips for winning Warfighter WWII' video.
Really enjoy these games now, a lot fun and never the same result twice, apart from pacific as the dice hate me. I now buy a couple of expansion packs a month. Excellent review. Thank you.
Hi - I’ve just ordered Warfighter Europe. I can see a vast number of expansions…Are the expansions self contained ie have everything you need to play or do they need you to have other expansions too? E.g if I bought the Bastogne expansion, would I also need the US Airborne expansion…?
One of the biggest problems of the series is the hundreds of dlc and incomplete main games, as in Shadow War, where there were grenade cards but no grenade counters. The best equipment is inside Dlc boxes. I sold my all Warfighter games.
I didn't feel Shadow war was incomplete, just very meh. PMC on the other hand should have included most of it's expansions as they included essential components for the core game. I know DVG is a business and Warfighter is clearly a cash cow for them but it's the system (and company) that finally freed me of FOMO. After backing quite a few DVG KS campaigns and being massively disappointed with what I ended up with I now avoid DVG products at source. Years ago I was really looking forwards to the future, fantasy and Cold War(Vietnam) warfighter stuff I'd heard about and the long awaited Huey Leader but now my interest in their future and current projects has evaporated. Not even FC Lee is enticing me back and I've wanted a game like that for years!
I like Warfighter WWII but I'd play it a lot more if I didn't have to figure out a squad before each game. If there were lists of ready-made squads at given point values anywhere that would be so useful but I haven't found any.
A warfighter too far. Since my disappointments with Shadow war, PMC and the terrible universal rulebook, I've been less inclined to give DVG anymore of my money. I had really hoped they'd have released a single core set to cover North Africa AND the Italian front. They managed to cover the Korean War with 4 small expansion boxes for Pacific, yet required two full cost sets to bring in the Italians and desert cards. I will probably get this but i'll happily wait until its on ebay in about 18 months time for significantly less.
I kinda wish they would also had the option to buy it as expansion boxes rather then core games since there is no need for multiple game boards & counter sheets. But to be fair, the 4 small korean war expansions do pretty much cost the same as one of the core games, and you do get more cards in the core game rather then 4 expansions. So if they released the 2 core games as expansions you would anyhow pay roughly the same.

That’s a great idea. Not sure I’d be much help either, but it might be a fun video
Thanks for the video and review! I loved Sgt. America comics :)

Haha, from the thumbnail it looks like Warfighter: Mafioso
Hahaha
That pose looks not unlike a certain Italian dictator 😂
Nice stream Alexander.

You don't need the expansions to play..but they are helpful for replayability.

Agreed, that would be a valuable resource.
This game was impossible for me the ww2 version

As always with dvg base games are a good deal and expansions terrible, I guess now you could get all base games only now.
