There was a rumor back then that Rick was lip synching for someone older but that is Rick actually singing. 21 and have a voice like that is rare. The 80s was the music decade

I saw him in concert in Los Angeles and he was amazing. He's also an incredible drummer. He ended the show with Hghway to Hell by AC/DC on which he played the drums and sang.

Yeah that's him, amazing vioce, the story is he was working as a tea boy in a recording studio, someone overheard him singing while working and signed him up, before that he'd never sung in public.
"Together Forever" should definitely be the next one. Was also a number one and is similar to Never Gonna Give You Up.
The versions of Together Forever and Never Gonna Give You Up from his recent album The Best of Me are even better versions of the originals. While the lyrics are still the same, you can tell he's a much more experienced and mature person.

I remember back in the day, ( am 45 ), when my mom heard this for the 1st time on the radio. She thought it was Billy Ocean, another great artist from the 80's, who was black. She brought this album & when she got it, she thought it was a mistake. And it was a record! 🤣🤣 Then, she played it! She couldn't believe he was a cute little Brit & white to boot! News folks have been Rick rolled.. Rose bowl parade has been Rick rolled.. it was crazy about 10 years ago.. on everything. I like his older stuff.. about 5 years ago he did a new album.. I heard that the bartender in the clip had a bad hangover.. the one dancer was terrible and couldn't do the steps so they avoided her.. that he didn't like to dance.. but record agency decided it.. but he had more creative control in later songs and albums.. best voice!!!
