Great video and thanks for doing it… I just bought one as well and had a few minor issues. Two things that might help you. First, the fuse that you have your power 12v on might be able to change so that is is only on when the car is on. Check the fuse box. If it is a wide slot and a short fuse then move the fuse to the other side of the slot. As for apps… I think I you have a setting on your iPhone that turns on and off the apps you allow to be used on CarPlay. The native apps on the unit can’t change but the apps you use on your phone can change. Good luck and thanks again. This helped me… OH one more thing… yes, very old school, but there is a. Cool tape cassette AUX product I have used in the past and they work great. But is the FM transmitter works for you then no problem. The cassette thing literally is a wire connected to a cassette and you just pop it into your cassette play in the car. Super simple and pretty good.
Thank you for your excellent video's on the Carpuride products. Question though: What is the advantage of deploying a Carpuride vs simply dash-mounting a big-screen iPhone? In terms of day-to-day operation, what is the advantage of implementing a second device? Thanks!
Do you think this is the best of the best portable Apple CarPlay brand? I’m trying to buy the best one out there. Also an iPad could be a possibility but maybe that’s doing too much? What brand has the best response to the touch? The less laggy one? I seen your other videos of portable CarPlay
i actually just recorded a quci comparison between all of these units. I think an ipad might be overkill of your main goal is Audio and Navigation. But, these units are all very similar. The carpuride boots up faster compared to the other units Ive tested, but outside of that, I dont think there are any huge differences besides the "pro" version which allows the unit to connect to you phone and the headunit via bluetooth. However, IMO, the price isnt justified.

You could probably easily rewire that outlet. Even older Cars should have 2 different power systems running trough it, The constant one and and one that is only live trough turning the igninition.
Not bad, man! It is like a transmitter and a radio head unit in one, but why not replace the factory stereo on the van. I have seen some nice pioneer head units and van radio kits. I plan to do mine with upgrade speakers? They also have a lot of cheaper head units aswell.
You've adviced ur subscribers. But u didn't test. Software update. Which messed by device They sent a file for updating software. But that messed my device. They can't fix it. Its simple reflasing the software back on device. Which they are not helping on.. They stopped responding to my emails. I don't know why can't they just provide proper steps in reflasing original firmware. I see positive reviews everywhere. I don't know if each and every product is perfect which is not possible in real world. You content creators should review based on all things..
Dude, I’m not having these issues nor have I seen them outside of your two comments. Why are you blaming me for something that is not my issue? Get a refund, and buy a different brand. If you are outside the return window, that stinks. Things happen and electronics can fail. That’s normal.

we made this carplay in China and we exported to USA,happy to see that you guys all like it so much!
great video. What I really like about CarPlay is that I can use the Maps app as a GPS in the car.

Nice informative vid. What’s the pick of this Carpuurude, the 7” Lamtto or the 7” Eonon P3?
You said it's an android unit, afaik it runs on linux though. Good honest review.

@@AutoMotivate ok post it I’ll watch it
What’s the call quality like? In my experience, 3rd party CarPlay products have echo issues for the other caller.

This is actually really interesting 😮
Can you use a device through the aux port or the aux is only to connect to cars sound system?
do you know how to install the front camera?

Thx ! :]

No double din radio fits perfectly. I thought about installing the single din radio where the screen pops out, but I figured I would give this a try.
@AutoMotivate you are right they don't fit perfectly without the kit. I have seen one with a double din installed for sale, and it look Almost oem.
I just use a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with a tablet mount.
👍👍🤜
