I love these . The navigation when needed is the only thing you will have on the display when driving. When dimmed or resized the display does not distract from being a mirror. It's similar effect to a HUD heads up display and you can easily focus on what's important. For me the most important features are the DVR Dash cam and the navigation. The navigation should work without being connected to a phone which is why I'm watching reviews. I really wish they still made the 700.

We have a Ford transit that we converted into a camper van. The rear view mirror is useless because we have curtains in the rear windows, as a result, I think this would be a really good replacement for it, specially since we plan on heading to Central and South America and we did not want to purchase a flashy tablet to have sitting in our dashboard an potentially get our van broken into. If it's anything like the 2022 nav system I used, you should be able to tap that camera icon in the top-left and it splits the screen between carplay nav on the right.
Damn I should have bought this instead of the RedTiger T27. Don't get me wrong the T27 is great but this is just amazing as my car infotainment system does not have android auto. Also do you have to connect your mobile phone to this dash cam.

@@bensenzo I think a piece of aluminum bent at 90 degrees attached to the "mirror" and dashboard with double sided tape should do the job. If you want something more elegant you can design and 3D print a bracket for it.
Hey, i just ordered a pretty similar Mirror from Ebay here in Germany (Mirror looks exactly the same, but different packaging). With this model i was able to achieve Split-View with Carplay! You have to click a button on the screen where the pairing-steps are showed, named "Half Screen mode" (showed at 5:10) *before!* you pair your iphone the first time. If you already have your iphone paired, you need to do a factory-reset to the mirror. i hope this helps anyone.

Don’t install cuz that rear view mirro so important coz u know it’s bad when drive save money on other things i have installed but open it after installing you need 5 sec wacth on back 3 sec on left and right side mirror on drive

I do have Apple Car Play in my 2020 Ford Escape SE. It took me a few minutes in figuring it out. It was so easy to do.

To fix the android Auto thing just go to android auto developer options and change the screen ratio

Try removing the plastic protection on the touchscreen. Maybe it will remove the touchscreen performance.
