@@SpeedAddict731 Ken which size turbos did you go with on this car 63/65 or 65/68? I went with 63/65 to get a quicker spool but I’m wondering if I should’ve gotten the 65/68 instead.

Wow Ken, it's a sleeper for sure, loving the sound, sometimes the twin turbos don't sound as good on the exhaust, but she sounds awesome. Chris was right about it was lifting on the
dyno, this is a real street beast.

Yea should last a long time there.
With a turbo it should live well at 835 but I wouldn't say it's bulletproof by any means. That is still alot on stock rods these are strong motors but they do have powder forged rods they aren't invincible.

@@SpeedAddict731 oh gotcha, I always forget the autos can handle so much power. It's sad how much our car culture is going away from manuals and I can't blame them when now with DCT's being so much faster its almost impossible to keep up with a classic 5/6 speed. Great build as always man, can't wait to see where you take the new stang
@R0cketRed it's not impossible at all you just have to know how to drive and shift like a boss and most can't do that. There is a video on TH-cam of a 2.3 tvs 07 gt500 with a tr6060 pulling a little on a new gt500 on the highway it pulled away maybe 3 cars or so but that is good for a 2.3 tvs 5.4 car the new gt500 has a 2650 tvs stock plus all the other fancy tech and the apparently unbeatable dct lol. Thing is that dude never stopped pulling he didn't lose any ground at all on any of his shifts. But the dude also has that driver mod. Anyone can drive an auto or dct fast they shift for them. I miss the days when the manual was quicker and there wasn't so many auto nuthuggers.
@@midnight347 Well my guy that's the thing, they were on the highway. There is no one in the world that comes even close to manually shifting any car with a stick shift as fast as a dct, it's just not possible. The big difference happens from 0 to 30 after that it's still not close but much less noticeable. When you have 6 gears max with a manual you'll always be beat by any car same hp weight everything if they have just one more gear. Gear ratios make more of a difference then hp, example: 500hp dct with 10 gears will beat the same car that's manual transmission with 6 gears and 550hp. When you get real big into racing the gearing is just as important to winning as anything. That's coming from someone that has driven manuals for over 15 years and still knowing I'd be faster in an auto will take a man stick all day long.
