The end of the movie is the best. Greetings from Poland, Master Sorin.
🤣🤣🤣 I love the ending Sorin, now that is a real repair technician 🤣 🤣 🤣
That is real feel 😂😂
That is the right behaviour for this chinesse garbage also i agree with everything he said to the engineering team 🤣🤣, i encounter more and more this type of shit products, or closed ecosystems, like digital amps on hyundais which are controlled via canbus, why the f... would you want to control and amp on canbus........that is a nightmare to fix because you need the car to check voltages and signals and i dont think anyone could leave the car to me for a couple of days just to fix an amp.
That was some intense swearing in the end ROFL even Diana came by to see what's happening LOL
I thought you are kidding, but not.😁
My wife does the same 😅 it was pretty hilarious 🤣
Diana: ""dear, we don't have a picture today??"" 🤭😀
proper swear 😂
People always swear in their mother language! 🙂
WELL... that final make me laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. SORIN I FEEL YOU
me too
we need subtitles :)
@@fendularatsq2317 no need everyone understands that lamguage 😁😁
I dont :) @@manuelsilva9335
I laughed with tears, because I understand what he is saying :)
Sorin....we demand English version of last part.....😂
U do not want the translation. Trust me
the ending 🤣 I didn't understand the words but I understood the pain
It could not be better! SORIN is simply the best😂😂😂. Didi came out with a proper calibrated fuse to calm things down😂🤣😁. Well done😊
sorin was blowing one already🤣
LOL - Not even the closed captioning was able to contain Sorin's rage.
👍 Hello, those last 40 seconds were the best. Next time, a bigger part of the video could be like this.
I can totally relate to Sorin. It's frustrating when manufacturers deliberately make electronics difficult to repair. Their design choices often discourage the end users from attempting repairs and force them to buy new products, even for minor issues like the one shown in this video.
but also you must remember that they are building a product that will see a lot of abuse and it must be sealed well and as small as possible. these units are not expected to be repaired so doing so is beyond the designer's intentions. They are disposable
Yup they make sure that when one part goes it bricks. I reused the battery packs from 3 of these in 3s3p configuration with an aftermarket BMS and shoved them in an old Stanley Jumpstart housing. Can give short term sustained current of 750A, but realistically only about 75 to 120A impulse and 30A sustained is actually needed to crank the engine. ❤
@@christopherleubner6633 i still have a lead acid jumpstart.. i replaced the battery with a bigger one for about 50% of the price of a new one of the same type.. but those lithium ones are worthless .. i use mine to run a winch on my trailer.. a lithium one wouldn't last long enough. Newer isn't always better
I have tested a few of those boosters, on analogue resistive load testers and yes, the expensive premium brand booster packs CAN output 2000a+. How useful that number is, well... Usually, to hit the rated current, the voltage will drop to around, or just below 9v,. The current will also drop fast so they will only do the rated current for about a second. So, in practice the lithium based boosters, are a ""one shot" type deal, if the car doesn't start when you crank it the first time, they will usually not have the snot to crank a second time. (I'm talking cold weather, -20c and below) There are several youtube videos where they measure the current from similar booster packs, and they pack a surprising amount of energy. They are also very good at frying electronics, especially if you use them wrong. IF you have a bad connection, OR you connect it to the car when the leads are live, the spark will be several KV and fry your control modules. They tend to fry the charging circuits on cars with battery management circuitry. If you have a bad connection, and a completely flat battery, moving the clamp, can be enough to generate an insane voltage spike.
Yup ProjectFarm tested these battery boosters recently. This particular unit is $276 CDN. Some units can boost semi tractors or tractors. Winters here in Canada can get down to -40c or lower so those temperatures can tax weak batteries.
FINALY a real tehnition language!!! i didnt understand what you did say, but that was epic!!! you should include more of this! I know how frustrating it can be to put something back together :)
Sorin, YOU ARE THE BEST! The end of this video is honest, true and simply beautiful! Just to know, you are not alone in this one, we all in our services has similar "beeps" all the time :) It's part of the job :) Just stay you, you are the best!
The relay is part of a reverse current protection: If the car starts and the alternator voltage becomes higher than the voltage of the internal battery, the relay switches off. This is to protect the small battery inside from beeing charged by a big car alternator with hundreds of amps.
O Man, the end of Sorin´s movie is my common working day. Well, we are only humans.
Thank for leaving the ending in the video. We're all human...
E clar , dupa ani de zile in care ma intrebam cum poti fi asa de calm , ti-am aflat secretul : injuri in pauze 🤣🤣🤣
He is a calibrated professionnel 😁🙂
That was the Romanian swearing at his highest peak point! You made my day Sorin! 😂
That ending got me dying and rolling on the ground 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have a supply of those surface mounted switches as well as the through hole models. They are used in a variety of things and always handy to have them on hand.
im sure he has ton of them but whats better than replacing a worn part? a dodgy clean and slap it back together
Loved the finale. Sounded similar to to some of my jobs. Too much stuff designed to be abandoned - not repaired. : (
That last couple of minutes proves you are just like the rest of us :D Keep doing what you do m8!
Ooo I have one of these, ordered it on Amazon during a flash sale. Two days after I got it a coworker asked me if I had jumper cables to get his car started.
“I got something better for you!”
I sent him out with this booster to use on his car and he came back in 5 minutes later. “I need that link right now,” he said and ordered them for his daughters, son, and wife.
Lol loved the behind the scenes bit, great fix well done Sorin, there’s videos of people using them to start cars apparently they work well 😊
Wow, never seen you angry! Really enjoyed the ending.
forget about the fix, I loved the behind the scene moment :)
Behind the scenes is the real Sorin🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always thought: "why does he stay so calm?" 🙂 But it seems from time to time he curses all the devils from hell.
That was GOLD at the end Sorin 👍
Ahhh, a little hot glue feels good!! Oops, I would have liked to hear the ending in English Sorin🤣🤣
I love Sorin unique language with this repair even Daiana come to watch this Drama what a surprise 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Finalul a fost înălțător !
Finalul este cel mi bun. Noco este destul de scump. Poate ca merita sa juri un pic. Hello from LA.
24:00 that's some real life repair! my dad taught me nothing gets done without some "praying" xD
Such a grate fault finding Master! Thx ❤
Thank you for this!
Brilliant! It remembers me to my own design flaws comments. Precious!
Congrats on the repair. I agree with you trying to repair even the smallest of components to a degree, but in this case, please replace the switches - they cost nothing and probably cost you less time. You could even pull them off dead boards by the dozen :)))
love the out takes!!!
LOL - love the outtakes/bloopers at the end!!
Good watching and listening to Sorin while eating meals. 😋
)))) last scene is great))) real life)) thank you, Sorin, as always
Project Farm, a TH-camr who tests just about anything you can imagine (no sponsors) rated this Jumpstart #1 last year and basically a tie this year with a super capacitor jump starter. The thing would repeatedly start a cold diesel (Dodge Cummins) WITHOUT any help from a normal start battery. Basically, he had a wooden mock-up battery just to hold the battery leads in a safe manner. Anyway, the damn little thing is pretty impressive.
He did do an amperage measurement but I can't recall what it was but I think something around what a start battery would have, 8 or 900 amps.
I never thought of repairing those buttons or even how they functioned 🤦♂️
Thank you for the lesson!
You generally replace them, they are very cheap -2 Euros 100PCS (aliexpress)- but if you don't have a spear button you open it on the microscope and repair it.
@@danielcoman8940 yeah I know, I have hundreds, and also a microscope. The point is I wouldn't even need to turn my hot air/iron station on lol
Finalul este fenomenal :))
Thanks for the video training bro
I have one that will start a 12 cylinder deisel engine very high output ,it starts my 8 cyl truck like butter with a complete dead battery love it
You sabes the best for the end. Well played!
the best repair is repairing something you do not know what is. thanks
That final make me laugh so much Sorin even the best of the best lost it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahha finalul e maxim 🔝 the designer of that shit has meat in his fridge for the whole year😂😂😂
That ending was the true essence about repairs. It gaooened to me with a jbl bluetooth speaker with the shortest cable tookme 1 hour to put back.
I have one of those boosters. Great bit of kit 😉
Lol. That swearing at the end. I'm not sure of the translation but the pain is real. Good job sorin
Good job mate
Thanks!
This is why I trust his videos more than the others. People who have nothing to hide,,,,HIDE NOTHING ❤
You should include the 'bloopers' at the end of all videos like 'Diagnose Dan' or ' Cutting Edge Engineering' - it makes people watch to the end! Those charging packs are well worth having and will start a car with a completely flat battery - I carry one in the car boot for emergencies.
love it Sorin
I don't know what was said at the end, but I couldn't help but laugh. We've all been there! LOL
The ending was like when I was trying to put a new clutch pedal in my car a couple of weeks ago 😂😂
Brilliant as always love the end 😅 About the capacity I am not sure but i know that my 2.3 diesel with a flat battery was cranked for a couple of minutes with small pauses to not cook the starter I doubt 2000a but they are impressive ,keep up the great videos
Some performance lithium pouches do 100C,200C,300C discharge rates. They use the entire length of the electrode foil and/or thicker foil to achieve this. Also special chemistry secrets. Downside is lower capacity for same weight of a cell. Tesla's newest 'tabless' technology for cylindrical cells uses the entire length of the foil for a tab, folded over and touching each other, preventing current traveling the entire length of the foil and thus increasing amos decreasing heat. 4AH cell x 200C =800 A x 12.6V = 10kW
My old lithium jumper just saved me a 2nd time a few days ago, paying for the purchase of a HOMPOW (6000A) unit highly reviewed by Project Farm - instead of the tow. So now I'll always have at least 2 lithium jumpers at all times. I plan on getting a supercap version later down the road (as the technology advances - and gets cheaper), but I think a lithium jumper is still needed for a backup, since the supercap won't save from a 0V battery.
However, on the 0V battery issue, one thing to MAKE SURE about is if it has a 'FORCE START' button or feature! Very, *VERY* important!! Since finding the HOMPOW (V2) unit to have that feature, I've come to find that my older DBPower unit wasn't protecting me from a 0V battery. But fortunately, it still saved me from 2 tows despite that. It's now a feature that I will absolutely require of any future jump starters.
You can view the specific Project Farm video here, where he also tests out their purported claims: th-cam.com/video/bMXyoIBJyJA/w-d-xo.html
Behind the scenes was fantastic!🤣🤣🤣
thank god , I'm not the only one that swears to electronic component :}
Repairing electronics is a nice and relaxing job! 😂😂😂
bwahahahaha... love the TRUE tech talk at the end! Don't know what most of it meant, but I heard something about designers in the US... lol
There are others ways to fix this
1. Break apart button clean glue
2. Swap by useless button
3. Solder some wires to outside to short manually
4. Leave a hole and provide a screwdriver to short the contacts
….
237. Replace with brand new tact switch
@glmnet: 238.- Go to your nearest NOCO Authorized Service Center...
1000.- Take it to the Secretary of the Environment or Ecology closest to your location (Lithium Ion...)
Nice end!😀
Bless you! ❤
The Ending is the bestz🤣🤣🔥🔥
I didn't understand a single word, but I laughed so hard at the end :D
Finally I got the proof that Sorin is actually human and not a cyborg. I am myself romanian and I can certify that was some proper swearing.
I can't believe how peoples love to hear that😂😂
I don´t know what you saying at the end, but it is so funny! 😂
LOL!!!!!! The BTS snippet is the best!!
this is the best ending. I don't know Romanian but I understood everything :D
Bloopers are always the Best 😂...
It reminded of me with the air pods case 😂😂😂.
Put the same video with Bad words in mexican coloquial lenguage...
I love Sorin... 😅 the car has a flat tire.. let's take the motor out 😂
i love that portable torture device, great for extracting the truth
interesting music on the end, at least you have copyright to it :)
I enabled YT's closed captions hoping to get the technical tips at the end of the video, unfortunately all it gave me was "American".
ai dreptate cu behind of scenes,....
LOOOOOOOOOL behind the scene got me of the chair 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I loved the movie bloopers!!! Hilarious!!!
Beside the great work as usual, we request a translation of sorin's last compliments of the design lol
This time we have a nice power booster special American Design ...30 mins later ... #%$#$ BEEP &%%$# BEEP @#$$!^^ BEEEEEPPPPP !!! (watched that ending at least 3 times now for a good laugh)
Last part of the video is the real job 😹😹
LOL
Cel mai tare finalul 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
That ending was sooooo funny 😂😂😂😂
your romanian rage is priceless !
At least I don't feel so bad anymore... I constantly curse when I work on electronics... haha!
