Great additions! I’m a function over form person and these all served a great purpose. Now to keep looking for the latch removal kit video. I think the the next one on my list. 😊
Great video! I have the bottom box in grey, totally agree on the power cord against the wall issue, I have been wanting a flat one like that. Good call. It's called an "IEC" cord, by the way. I also just ordered those ernst wrench organizers after looking at many options, glad to see they are working well for you. Looks great! The last thing I think would be cool in this box is a drawer divider system, to make separate compartments in the thinner drawers for storing small parts or tools. Ernst had a system for this that looks ideal but seems to have been discontinued, haven't found anything yet quite like it.
Yea the power cord was super overlooked when designing this thing. I have seen some guys use like kitchen cabinet organizers for their toolbox. You might look around at those and see if they would work for what you need
So I had a lot of bits that were the same sizes (let’s face it, many of them are consumables). So I grabbed a Craftsman 30 compartment little plastic drawer box at Lowe’s and dividers from Amazon. Now they need labels but it’s organized and I’ve concluded I shouldn’t need anymore #2 philips in 1” or 2” nor T25s for the rest of my natural life. Made sure they were all oiled. Also, I’ve looked good and hard at the USG box but, I really don’t like the available locker for it. And I really prefer the heavier main drawer on the Icon. Though I do like the white.
Thanks for this video. I have the same box on order which should be here the first week in January. I'll be ordering some of your suggestions. One question... Was that pass through grommet already on the box, hidden behind the cover you took off or did you need to purchase the pass through grommet?
I honestly love it. I'm going to be doing a video here in the next couple days as a "long term" kind of review and show some more of the mods I made and a tool tour
Dump that power strip and go to Home Depot and purchase a Husky Power Strip that has three magnets on the back, they work great in a tool box and they have two USB ports both an A and a C.
You can rewire your electric box to be a 4 outlet. But you may have plenty of other outlets. I just have 1 on the wall and 1 on the ceiling. 😂, 🥲. Great looking box. Makes me jealous that I don’t have a 56”.
Thank you for making a 2nd tool box video , the first one was awesome !
glad you enjoyed it!!
I use bottom of coolant/oil jugs as an organizer for bits, misc, small parts. Comes in handy while repurposing what would be trash
Yea that would probably work really well!
I've got a 44" Series 3 and I put a US General magnetic power strip in mine, it's got an 8 ft cord, 2 usb ports and comes in any color you want. ;-)
I was going to say didn’t he see the nice ones harbor freight had in all the box colors
Google C13 power cords for the power cords. There are a multitude of options, lengths, adapters, etc. for these electronic equipment cords.
Those wrench organizers work great. I got the ernst ones because supposedly the Tekton set isn't magnetic

it's the life hack one :)
You should’ve made me hunt… that means more liked videos for you as I watch them and you get rich!!! 🤑
Thanks for speeding up the process man!
Just found your channel and bought this box in white also! ❤ excited for it to arrive.
It's a great box! You will love it
You are very proud of your bits. Congratulations on your organization.

The labels that the link sent me too are not magnetic?
Do you know if the 72” cab uses the same power cord as the 56”? I’d like to do the same power cord upgrade when mine arrives if so, thanks
Those wrench organizers you can get on temu for like a third of the price just a heads up. Same exact ones
Nice! I'll check it out

it's already on the box. The metal plate covers it, just have to use a socket and zip the lock nut off
Mine arrived at the store 1 week early
Where did you get the name magnets?
Link below
Love your videos!
Where did you get those magnets on your drawers
etsy, I linked them in the description
I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on this same set up. I’d be curious what your thoughts on the box are now you’ve had it a while. Thanks

IEC cable.
Thanks
you're welcome!
Thanks!
No problem!
