Lithgow LA 101 22LR RWS Rifle Match

A nice day for shooting. Lithgow LA 101 and RWS Rifle Match paired for two groups and some bulls. The groups went well. The accuracy not so much. But......the potential is there!

Hey Joe! I was in 'awe' of 'some' of the shooting 😉.
The Lithgow is a very fine rifle. In skilled hands I think it would hold its own with some custom high end rimfires. Great day to you !

Gidday (from New Zealand). I've watched several of your excellent videos, I like your approach. I've just acquired a couple of bricks of RWS Rifle Match, will be interesting to see if I can get close tou your results with my Lithgow LA101. I'll also be trying it in a "proven" CZ457 and my most accurate 22, a 1920s Vickers martini. It does seem from your results that the comment that I've seen in several places on the interweb that Rifle Match still has a flier every box or so is borne out by your results.
We have just gotten in a shipment of Eley ammo here so I'm getting ready to lot test some Team and Match.
After that - buy a bunch of whatever goes best!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! RWS Rifle Match is a favorite ammunition of mine. I use it most often for different rifles. The occasional flyer makes it's usual performance all the more sweet!

Enjoyed the video. As a La101 owner myself, just wondering if you have any modifications done to your rifle? Mine is stock standard but I’m always interested in looking for performance enhancing mods that work.

May I ask you where you got that bag for the stock I would surely like to have one of those looks like a good one. Very good shooting not a lot of people can do that.

That is a Protektor Rear Bag #13B with large 'ears'. I empty just enough sand from the bag when new to really 'hug' the rear stock well. Protektor has a website.
