And the hat, while it may not have had century old details passed through the ancient veins of knitting artists through their ages, was beautiful and still creative. Also, I am sure that someone who just wants their head to not freeze in winter would love the hat, and may be keen on buying it as it is not covered in the details and patterns that the whining crowd is quick to defend as they may wear it in an area that may spoil such a hat. Time and place. Also, I would still want this tool even though I am an art and details person for the fact I have many family members who are young parents up north, and this would make a quick hat to send for their children. And other reasons.
If you want a quick hat for the grand kids that offers no skill or talent, go to Walmart. You can buy a LOT of hats there for $220.00. (That's the cost of this machine on Amazon.) Also, making a hat by crocheting or knitting it only takes about 3-4 hours. So, you're not really saving that much time.
Can I get hats made from hand dyed yarn from walmart? Can I get hats made from handspun fiber blends from walmart? Can I get hats that fit the exact color pattern of a handwoven scarf? There are plenty of reasons for someone to want be able to to costom knit things without actually enjoing the process of handknitting.
@@marigeobrien I have always wanted to learn how to knit but my disability (I have Cerebral palsy) prevents me from using knitting needles, but I can use a crank. My mom was a knitter/Crocheter and I would love to do the same and a machine like this would make it possible for me to make things for friends, family and maybe as a business. So because I can't knit with my hands Ishould not want to make my own items, plus the shit at walmart is exactly that , shit and probably made in sweat shops in Veitnam by child labour, I had a wooden one as a child as my mother wanted me to learn to knit but knew that my hand-eye coordination prevented it so I had a wooden loom and made scarves and loved spending time with her as she knit in the evening making blankets or hats, It is a great memory for me now that she is gone.
I learned to crochet and knit at age 11 I’m 67 this summer. I have tried since then to master knitting without success. I mastered crocheting though. This tool is perfect for folks like me. LOL I just came here because the device looked cool, little did I know that a war was raging in the comments.. who knew the knitting community was so hostile
Sims bruh you gotta understand. Making a pair of socks takes 10 hours knitting by hand. I timed myself doing it... Also why would you pay more for this than any old factory hat? If I sold my socks I'd have to sell them at about a hundred dollars per pair to make minimum wage. Calling this and hand knitting the same makes hand knitters have to cut their wages to get things sold.... It's sad!
@@toomanychickens1771 It really is a calm hobby and most people I know who knit are chill, but it's kind of like art, where people feel they either shouldn't pay or that they deserve a lower price... dealing with that attitude makes people get pissed.
I wish for one for my birthday. I hand knit and crochet a lot, but not very fast. I thought it could be nice when my children loose/forget a hat at school that I could make one quick for the nest day. Also my kids grows very fast right now, (7 and 11 years old) so with my crafting speed the clothes I can make for them by hand would be to small at the time I finish it. So fingers crossed that my family gift me this nice knitting machine.
Funny you should say that with a name like SIMS..in the sims artist community people are totally immature over a piece of cheese they created for the original Sims game back in 2001 .Mod the Sims ganging up on The Sims Resource ..The Sims Resource ganging up on the Pirates etc..then you have the copyright freaks who think every new pattern or new creation has already been created and hence owned by someone somewhere never mind how much creativity is stiffled..and dont you dare share this or that without permission credit bla bla bla lots of trouble ..i understand people bickering about politics or philosophy but i dont get why there is so much of it in our creative hobby world..everyones opinion is apparently the all to end all ..hobbies are for relaxing and communing with those of similar artistic leanings imo
Thank you for this video. I got my knitting machine for Christmas because I was tired of my fingers going numb when I crocheted or attempted to knit. I was a bit overwhelmed because I have never used a loom or mmachine. Yes...newbie here. Thanks to your simple to follow video, I see hats in my nieces' and nephews' futures! Thank you again 😊

Great tutorial! I have a part time crochet side job, as well as a full time medical job. In the fall I crochet hats for charity.. this machine will save my hands and time! Thank you!
A trick I think might work to reduce the static you get from the yarn is in your feeding hand, use a dryer sheet (unsented if you're selling them) and that will help to keep the fibers in line. I also use it for braiding hair to keep it smooth and flyaway free.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I've just begun to play with my machines. thank you SO MUCH for making what I knew was going to be an easy process even easier. THANK YOU!!!!

I like crocheting much better than knitting but I'd buy a hat or socks before I'd make them. Modern machines use a less bulky yarn/thread so it doesn't feel bulky when wearing the item, socks especially. Plus, I watched a sock knitting machine and I did't see her add any elastic/spandex product into the sock so I can bet they fall down in a short time which would drive me nuts.
When I was knitting for my 1st born one of my uncles was very pleased and said he knew how to knit. He said he learned from school. I was surprised and also wished they did the same here in the US.

Great tutorial! I've always wonder to see one in action. Looks fun. I know some people who've had difficult time with carpal tunnel and had to give up their craft. This is a wonderful option for them. 👍 Or even for those who just like to do it this way. It's sad people get upset about how others do their needle craft. I think this was fun.
You and crochet crowd have the best visuals on this machine. I’ve accumulated so much yarn and not enough time to knit by hand, that’s why I’m looking at the addi. Not sure how long I can stand there cranking it, but worth a try if I can make more hats for charity 🧣🧤
Your cast-on (and off) instructions made more sense than the written ones which came with the machine, thank you. There is a dvd included in the package but as I'd already seen this one I just parked my tablet under the machine. I have found it has a tendency to fling the stitch off the needle if you don't keep an eye on it, then you need a crochet hook to chase down the ladder to retrieve your dropped stitch!
Thank you very doing a video on this type of hat!!!! I received my Addi a few days ago and I was gathering mine a little different then yours, but after watching you I will be doing mine like yours from now on. Thanks so much!!!

I'm also a knitter of beanies for the homeless and premmie bubs. I think these machines and looms are great if that's your thing. I prefer to knit with needles as i do my beanies at night while watching the tv or take it with me on the train etc. So each to his/her own. Great video thanks
I have been working away on my addi and it does have a big learning curve and is harder than learning something like loom knitting. I am learning how to finish my edges on the knitting loom after making pieces so they dont curl and I am loving the challenge so far. The knit is nice and tight so it is great for making ponchos and double sided hats for hubby. For Hats and Cowls, I prefer loom knitting myself, I like big slouchy hats.
Believe it or not their is a vid online somewhere of someone doing just that !! LOL I have done that before now when I've made my own piping cord to go round cushions.twist it and then work out 1/2 way point, keep the tension and take the 2 ends together to create the barley sugar twist .It looked a damn site better than doing the method mum taught me 40 yrs ago of tying it on the doorknob LOL..Being creative is great isn't it ,I have always wanted to knit but have really painful hands ,still want one of these cool machines:) xSophie
Thank you so much. I followed your video as I made my first hat. Love it. I'm a spinner and I want to make things with my yarn I've made but I hate wasting time knitting I'm too slow and I would rather be spinning on my wheel. So this has given me a way to quickly make items with out spending weeks knitting... 😃👍💜💜💜
I'm going to say why I bought an Addi Express Kingsize machine: I am making hats for a homeless charity and blankets for a pet charity. I was using a standard round loom and it was taking so long to do just one item, that I got one of these machines to help me make more, so more people and animals benefit from it. I found the DVD that came with it to be useless. I couldn't follow it very easily and I kept having a problem with dropped stitches. I came onto youtube and found this video first. I followed it and have made a hat, with no dropped stitches and although the tension isn't brilliant, it's a hat that someone will be able to use when they're sitting on the streets of the City, waiting to be let into the hostel at night. I've not tried a flat panel on it yet, but that's going to be my next thing to have a go at. This video is great for starters to Addi machines, it makes it less stressful trying to figure out parts of using the machine!
May I make a suggestion? When your length starts getting long, instead of pulling it out to the side and having to constantly unwind it, just pull it up from the middle and fold it into itself as the length grows.
I can't help but to laugh at all the "where can I buy this machine at" comments. Do like I did, freaking google it...I'll even help you with that...highlight the name of the machine up there under the video...right click...click copy...open a new tab...paste into the search bar...hit enter. Takes all of 5 damn seconds already. And btw, it is freaking expensive! Ranging from $85 to over $200, so if you want to purchase it, I sure hope you're going to mass produce to recoup the loss and start making a profit. There I did the work for you. Geez! I'm not a knitter, I crochet, but I sat through the entire video to see the finished product. Lovely hat, love your personality!
It all depends on the thickness of the yarn. The thicker the yarn, the larger the hat. You cannot however, increase or decrease the amount of needles used when working in the round. Only when knitting panels.
Kathy Christopher, You have a child as your picture on here, so are you a child or an adult, if your a child, just tell your parents next Christmas, or birthday, then you can make lots of stuff and sell it. If your an adult well just save your money and get one so you can make a pile of stuff to sell and get another model.
Can't we all just knit a long? So I am on my deck and I use the brother kh260/910. ON the couch with my needles. In the car with my Addi....do we have to choose a side? If you want to keep up the culture then talk to the people who are selling their creations at a less than favorable price. THEY are taking down the culture of the skills. By the way, machine knitting is not as easy as you think. Very difficult to articulate. Students earn degrees in designing with Knitting Machines. They also have classes and designing in Hand Knitting.
I never learned knitting when I was young. This will be my only way to do it. If I am able to make it work I will be happy. Thanks for a well made video.!
Saw this on my "What's up next" feed, and decided to check it out. That's one amazing piece of gear! I'm no knitter, but, that's prety cool. Also, question: when you're deciding on what kiindd of stitch to do on a piece, would that be knit picking?
looks really cool ideal for people with little time, can I ask how much is in the balls of wool you are using thanks again for a clear and easy tutorial I would have no problem using this as well as using knitting needles for other projects it's just quick and fun.

I'm not sure why this was in my recommended since I don't knit or crochet, and the most amount of sewing I've done is hand embroidery to fix and otherwise cover small holes in my clothes. I don't even own a sewing machine yet. *But after watching this, man, do I want a three foot long knitted snood from this machine right about now.*
Wow....so many salty knitters here. I'm a knitter, I take a long time to knit things for myself and loved ones, not business. I do buy a lot of knitted things, though (because its just easier that way). And at the end of the day, speaking as a consumer? No, I wouldn't buy something hand knitted over a machine knitted item over 'value'. No, I wouldn't pay extra for a beanie made by hand. No, I wouldn't feel bad about it either, nor would I go 'wow I'm cheated' if someone lied about it in the bio and sold me something machine knitted instead of hand knitted, so long as the price was reasonable. No, I would not even prefer one over the other in any circumstance. All that would matter is the price. I pay for a knitted product, not emotion or labor. Knit what you want to knit however you want to knit it, but don't gripe if people do it differently than you, or make money off of it.
Who Dunnit I appreciate your opinion. I have found the same in that the #1 factor for most people is price. I have over 100 intricate, heavy, hand crocheted scarves made from premium yarns, which I cannot sell because I cannot compete with the $5 machine knitted scarves at Wal-Mart. I often get “WOW! Those are really pretty.” Then, we get to the “how much” ($50-$75) discussion and people immediately wince and walk on. As long as we are all used to paying for dirt cheap items made overseas, it’s going to be almost impossible to sell premium, hand-made items.
Yeah this is a funny debate. On one hand, we want cheap stuff because some people cannot afford the more expensive ones; But on the other hand, by saturating the market with cheap stuff (fully mass produced and cheap materials), we will be dealing with the market not producing high quality products anymore. This what happened to most durable brands. Like Doc Martens used to make shoes that lasts almost a life time, but now their shoes are worned out after 2-3 years of use.
I understand your point but that way of thinking is not a fair one. Many things were made from cheap labor and it should be taken into consideration when buying. You don’t want to buy from a company that doesn’t pay their worker fair wage
Just taken delivery of my first ever Addi machine. I have never used one before and am feeling nervous that I won’t be able to use it more than for just making hats. I don’t want to give up - but I couldn’t make head nor tail of the instruction manual and it’s patterns. The only instructions I will follow are your instructions as seeing it done is better than following written instructions I think! Also, it seems a lot depends on what type of yarn you get as to eventual size of project. So I already purchased some yarn (DK in the UK where I live) and am hoping its going to be ok. I would love to eventually make a jumper, but working out measurements and translating these into actual knitted size seems a bit daunting at the moment. If you have made a video on making a sweater for an adult, I would be very keen to see it, as your instructions are so clear! Thank you x

thank you I found one it came from Germany, as soon as I got it I made seven hats within maybe 3hrs. I'm so in ahh with my addi. I've looked at so many videos when I finally got it, I already knew how to work it.
I have a knitting machine, I try to knit and want to so badly that I don't give up and keep trying. Here is my question to all you hand knitter's... Do you spin your own yarn or buy yarn that is mass produced? I spin my own yarn that I harvest from my own animals that I go out every day morning and night to feed and clean up. So all I'm saying is we all have our own vice. My machine knit products will never hold a candle to your hand knit products however if you are using commercial yarn that's another story.
Some “machine knits” are as creative as hand knits. Look for a book called “Creative Machine Knitting” by Linda Mendelssohn. Do some research into fiber artists from the 1970s and 1980s. They produced incredible designs on their knitting machines. I knit lace shawls and sweaters on my knitting machine which turn out far better than anything I could have hand knit. Fairisle sweaters are also better. Finally, many designs in stockinette stitch in a hand knitting pattern books were knit on knitting machines. The designer knits a swatch to get the hand knitting gauge. Think about it. Designers get paid for the end product, not the process it takes to produce the design,
I bought one of these a couple years ago from Nancy's Notions and it never worked properly. A total mess. These machines are mostly plastic with a few parts of metal. The will knit stockinette only (no ribbing) and are very picky about the type of yarn you use. They're not cheap either. Before investing in one, go to a store and see if you would be able to use one properly. BTW, I am experienced machine knitter (4 circular sock machines and 3 flatbed knitting machines) and thought this one would add some capabilities. It does not.
I own one of these and have made HUNDREDS of hats for charity. it is DEFIINITELY worth the cost!
What charity takes hats? This is something I could do for charity, tho I own a different knitting machine, the Innovations Knitting Machine.

There are plenty of reasons for someone to want be able to to costom knit things without actually enjoing the process of handknitting.
hey good thinking! theyre both great skills/tools to have.
@@marigeobrien Walmart made in China junk. Part of our problem in this country where we prefer cheap to keeping jobs in our country.
I think it’s a great invention. I’m gonna get one. Oh and by the way Karin your video is the best instructional video on the Addi that I’ve seen thank you so much.
Just got mines today, and made my first hat (2 hours). Yayyyyyy.
+Alisa Hoffman Now I can make them under 30 minutes. Yayyy
🤗🤗
LOL I just came here because the device looked cool, little did I know that a war was raging in the comments.. who knew the knitting community was so hostile
Sims bruh you gotta understand. Making a pair of socks takes 10 hours knitting by hand. I timed myself doing it... Also why would you pay more for this than any old factory hat?
If I sold my socks I'd have to sell them at about a hundred dollars per pair to make minimum wage. Calling this and hand knitting the same makes hand knitters have to cut their wages to get things sold.... It's sad!
Right! So much for calm hobby, might aswell just go fishing!
Makes knitting quick and easy. We love instant gratification, that's is why I crochet more than I knit.
I do, this is knitting, I crochet .
Interesting!
Thank you Emily Williams
Yo no se de que hablan porque se español domas
With this you just turn and knit away!
I love how goofy you are about these. Some videos are just so flippin serious. This is supposed to be about fun. You put that back into the craft! Thank you!
Thank you Karen what a great invention and great idea. It must be super warm since it’s doubled walled. Love your personality your professional, you make it fun and sell the product so well. Really enjoyed this video.
I really like how you did this tutorial. It was very informative and just the right amount of talking. Thank you it helps
Never knitted in my life. I love the recommendation videos lol this was quite enjoyable, I would love to learn
Never knitted anything; anything beside replacing/placing a button is outside of my ability but i watched this whole video out of genuine curiosity and passion for engineering.
Oh my goodness, love it.
I also use the knitting loom and I crochet by hand.
I like the idea of having another option too. :-)
This looks good. Never learned to knit, but believe it or not I learned how to crotchet and embroider from my grandmother as a kid....I'm a guy too, lol
Greg Hunt There was a big football player in the 1960's 1970's named Rosie Greir who did needle point and even wrote his own books about it. I believe he even became a minister later as well. ☺
Greg Hunt Stephen b There are a lot of guys that are learning how to crochet and knit. There’s a great video of a guy that knits wherever he goes and sells the hats, scarfs ets. He’s really good. He knits while on the subway. It’s defiantly NOT just for women. I’ve watched videos of men teaching how to sew. Too many stereotypes in this world!
Yep, i'm a guy and crochet too. It's calming. Peace!
I have no clue why this was in my suggestions list but at the end when you peeked up it was so cute!! Your voice was just wonderful to listen to , I feel so calm I'm ready to go to bed hahaha
Hermione could have freed so many house elves if she had one of these!
yea!!!!
Oh my god, you're right!
Especially if she chained a couple up in the basement and forced them to make hats all day!
Slick Rick okay that's just creepy and I don't think Hermione wants creatures to do that.
The house elve's master has to give them an article of clothing, so Hermione could not have saved them unless she could trick the masters into giving them something.
I used to knit and crochet, now it is too painful. I have the large machine coming my way, from what I’ve seen hats are just one item that can be made. Looking forward to when mine comes in.
Excellent video ! I am thinking of taking up machine knitting as a profitable hobby. This video clearly demonstrates how easy it is to make a hat using this particular machine, and a few simple sewing skills. Thanks for this very helpful video !
it is almost 4 am and im up watching how to knit hats
Me to lol
I want my time back. Bbn it at least I've had a lesson on a knitting machine.
Same here brother! :)
This was in my recommended after the sock lady
Thank you. Who would not like this video. This machine is great. I like that u took your time to show how to do the project perfectly.
I love the blue shades..I think it's so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I don't even knit this video just came up in my feed and it's 4 a.m. so I said why tf not
Or,,,, why tf KNOT
Kate Kong it's about 1:30 for me right now in the same situation. Glad I'm not alone.
LOL its almost 3 am and im watching this now too
Same
Kate Kong same
The video that started it all for me in 2015/16 lol came across your video on TH-cam back then and it set off a whole new world for me lol thank you!
Omg I'm buying me a new toy. I can crochet but knit a little, so this machine is perfect for me to knit.
Absolutely STUNNING!!!!! I love the way you explain things in such an easy way to understand!!
THSBK YOU SOOOO MUCH 🧔🧶🧶🧶
Thank you very doing a video on this type of hat!!!! I received my Addi a few days ago and I was gathering mine a little different then yours, but after watching you I will be doing mine like yours from now on. Thanks so much!!!
I don't even know why I am here!!! LOL. I watched a video last night on F/B and it began my "rabbit hole" search into knitting machines. It looks very cool. I love crafting...so going to add on this to my repertoire. :O). Great easy to follow video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. New subbie. XO from Nova Scotia, Canada.
That was so awesome. I have a Round Knifty Knitter Loom set but I've never seen the knitting machine before.
I'm also a knitter of beanies for the homeless and premmie bubs. I think these machines and looms are great if that's your thing. I prefer to knit with needles as i do my beanies at night while watching the tv or take it with me on the train etc. So each to his/her own. Great video thanks
Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial I’ll be starting to make my beanie hats ready for autumn…
I'd soon rip off the turning handle and put on an electric drill instead, haha.

lol that made me laugh so much but it is a good idea
Believe it or not their is a vid online somewhere of someone doing just that !! LOL I have done that before now when I've made my own piping cord to go round cushions.twist it and then work out 1/2 way point, keep the tension and take the 2 ends together to create the barley sugar twist .It looked a damn site better than doing the method mum taught me 40 yrs ago of tying it on the doorknob LOL..Being creative is great isn't it ,I have always wanted to knit but have really painful hands ,still want one of these cool machines:) xSophie
Cooking With Cows I have a yarn ball winder an I've been thinking of doing the same thing with it!
LMFAO I was thinking the same thing haha! I did that with my wheat grass juicer.
you did good job with hat u have change life that better i proud of you cheer
I'm going to say why I bought an Addi Express Kingsize machine:
I am making hats for a homeless charity and blankets for a pet charity.
It is a great way for people to be able to knit who just can't come to grasp the physical aspects of traditional knitting.
very good machine, where can I find. please I need one.
Where did you get your machine and how much is it
Thank you so much . I bought a machine yrs ago. I finally dug it out .love your tutorial.
Can you make a video how to do the plain knitting as you called it im having trouble figuring that one out lol
Oh nice! With this machine I could Feel like I know how to knit without learning how! Yay!
all the blokes watching are thinking of ways to attach their cordless drill to the handle. lol
why not take off one beater of a handmixer and modify the other and use that to turn the crank?
robowen11 might as well pull home improvement
I have one and have thought about it many times
yup, just attach a simple efficient motor to the handle and voila!
yah because only the blokes are creative... lol
would like the machine, but does it do diffrent sizes from infant to adult. thanks
I'd like to know this too!
It all depends on the thickness of the yarn. The thicker the yarn, the larger the hat. You cannot however, increase or decrease the amount of needles used when working in the round. Only when knitting panels.
You can buy it in different sizes.
francais
Kathy Christopher, You have a child as your picture on here, so are you a child or an adult, if your a child, just tell your parents next Christmas, or birthday, then you can make lots of stuff and sell it. If your an adult well just save your money and get one so you can make a pile of stuff to sell and get another model.
If you need a quick, double layer hat for warmth, this machine is a no brainer. I want one!
You have a great speaking voice!
Among the machines this machine is the best...
thanks for sharing
great demo,i am considering one of these machines
Libby Rees how much is it price please
Beautiful ❤
Très joli bonnet et il n'a pas l'air difficile
Merci
Great way to make a lot of hats faster than by hand,
I never learned knitting when I was young. This will be my only way to do it. If I am able to make it work I will be happy. Thanks for a well made video.!
Saw this on my "What's up next" feed, and decided to check it out. That's one amazing piece of gear! I'm no knitter, but, that's prety cool.
Also, question: when you're deciding on what kiindd of stitch to do on a piece, would that be knit picking?
totaly!!
All of them are just gorgeous !
Oh God, beautiful pieces of art!
Merry Christmas, Marvelous 2020 !
secure a electric drill too the handle, done in 15 min lol
@Trisha Marie -- what about not having electricity? This is great exercise as well! Have a great 2017 to all.
unfortunately the warranty is void if you do this...
Trisha Marie 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😂😂
Mother Father : Yeah, you'll end up with your right arm looking like a hippopotamus and your left arm looking like a spring onion.
Super cute hat and you make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing. Now to get busy.
Where did you buy Your loom???
Tomorrow my Addi should arrive and this video was very helpful. Thank you. :)
looks really cool ideal for people with little time, can I ask how much is in the balls of wool you are using thanks again for a clear and easy tutorial I would have no problem using this as well as using knitting needles for other projects it's just quick and fun.

also do you sell these machines
dechovky
Kathy Christopher They sell knitting needles. This is a set of knitting needles, although in a slightly different form.
I totally love your video! It was exactly what I've been looking for for many years. Thanks a bunch!!
I wonder if holding a dryer sheet over the yarn would help with static and help keep the counter more accurate?
GREAT video you addressed all the little details that explain so much. Thank you
I'm not sure why this was in my recommended since I don't knit or crochet, and the most amount of sewing I've done is hand embroidery to fix and otherwise cover small holes in my clothes. I don't even own a sewing machine yet.
*But after watching this, man, do I want a three foot long knitted snood from this machine right about now.*
This is really amazing I love it I would love to buy one of this machine for my mother thanks for sharing great video have a blessed day
Wow....so many salty knitters here.
Thank you x
I am fascinated with this, were can I buy this machine for a good price? Thank you for your time
I don't know if you found out where to buy yet Amazon has it
I know that you did not count how many rows. Can you tell me how much each ball weight. Thanks
+Julieta Ward
Hello! It used (2) 50g balls. One for the inside and one for the outside.
Thanks!
Thanks
So nice! Looks warm and cozy.❤❤❤

and here I am spending more than a week looming a slouchy beanie 😣
thank you I found one it came from Germany, as soon as I got it I made seven hats within maybe 3hrs. I'm so in ahh with my addi. I've looked at so many videos when I finally got it, I already knew how to work it.
love the video thank you :)

+Sue H - I dont have any animals being a city girl so not lucky like you! Spinning your own yarn... wow! :)
Designers get paid for the end product, not the process it takes to produce the design,
Pretty cool that you spin your own yarn... Maybe you could do a Video about it (from animal to finished product), would be pretty interesting :D
Thank you for this video! I followed along and made a hat on my brand new Addi. It took me a little more than an hour (with all my stops and starts).
That rattling would make me end up throwing it out the window.
