And to think this band started as a tribute love for bands like agnostic front and anthrax! 30 years later and the progression never stops. They were the most copied band in 2002. Good to see a company like fender give Beck his flowers and appreciate what he's done for hardcore and heavy music in general, he's played every position in this band aside from vocalist to keep it going!
deep respect beck, for rocking that fender rhodes on stations, I Always thought that was a top 5 glassjaw song. Same with Daytona White, incredible music.
Crazy how this video has such a low view count. Also, ‘Coloring Book’ is Glassjaw’s best collection of songs, imo. No slight on the rest of the catalog, of course.
I will never forget when they dropped Coloring Book. It changed my fucking life 4 real. I went to see them live shortly after, filmed the entire show from front row. My wife made me delete the footage by accident. My buddy was posting all kinds of fucked up comments on booty videos on my YT account which was the only place I had the footage uploaded, lost the backup.... I was like wtf! I didn't post that shit, I deleted the account as a result of the bs argument and gone are the videos.... :(
I saw this tour in Orlando, 2010-11? . GJ played their whole set, then, played Coloring book in its entirety. We were like, what are these songs? lol. They gave everyone free Coloring Book CD's as we left. I prefer their older and newer stuff. Coloring book seemed like a weird phase of the band. ANY GJ rules though, Amazing band.
This guy is an incredible player, he created his own style.
Glad other ppl kno that, this cat never gets his just due, he's a pioneer in the genre, completely created his own lane, all time great!
@@drewnichols3782 which genre though? Like I haven't heard anything like Glassjaw, maybe other than Refused?
@@greasybumpkin1661Post Hardcore pioneers if anything. Hard to describe them. Strong Island Hardcore?
No one has even figured out how to replicate this man's style.

Fuck yeah, I think bass should always have over drive on it. If you don’t want it for a part use your volume knob and put a treble bleed on
Love Beck. I bugged tf out when I heard an old son's of abraham riff on Shira ahaah
Love u, justin u.u
