- Veemo is the first one-way sharing network of three-wheeled, electric-assisted vehicles in the world. It’s the perfect way of getting around a campus or city without needing a driver’s license, fighting traffic, being inactive, or being exposed to bad weather.
VeloMetro publicly launched a Veemo pilot fleet at the University of British Columbia. The service served students, staff, and UBC residents in easily moving around campus. With over 2,000 kilometers ridden and 1,000 trips totaled, the successful Veemo UBC Pilot was ended April 13th 2018.
VeloMetro plans to expand its service to the Vancouver urban core soon. Global expansion is being considered for cities that are looking for sustainable and active transportation alternatives. Veemo velomobiles will also be available for purchase commercially in the future.

K im puzzled. They till u to treat it like a bike until they still want you to park like a car? I still yet to see promotional videos on these during the winter months of Canada.
This would be great for San Diego many inner city zip codes 92101, 92102, 92103, 92104, 92105 etc. converting car lanes into bus and bike only lanes; I wish you could purchase would be great for a single senior like myself. Currently I am leasing a Hyundai Ioniq but really too large for my needs. This would be perfect, also like that battery can be removed for charging, would be nice if it had its own little rolling dolly for the battery. Its small size is great because of very limited parking in above zip codes and parking spaces are getting narrower each time resurfacing of asphalt is done. Jim Medard

@@JimWaltz Do you have a link as evidence of that? I haven't heard a peep about this in 4 years. They did the trial in vancouver university campus site back in 2017 i think, and have been advising they plan to release as ride sharing then sales ot public, and have yet to see even the ride sharing in any city since the trial ended.
There is considerable demand, Daymak's orders have crossed the $300 million mark for pre-sales on their new line, one of which includes a pedelec called the Foras. I like Vemmo design more but really after waiting 10 years for these things to come out, im ready to buy whoever offers one.
