At the end of Destiny story, we should return these words to our ghost, remembering that day, Destiny 1, year 1 when our ghost first revived us, "Thank you, you know, for being my ghost"
Ghost is a cool guy. If we lost him, I'd be more heartbroken than when we lost Cayde. He is certainly my favorite character in destiny. "Eyes up Guardian." - Ghost
Jokes aside.... Indeed so. "Let 'us' still struggle forward to 'our' Original goal as Guardians and of the [O]'s to the end, despite terms like '[beyond Light]' or '[Lightfall]'. Shall 'we', Little Light?....".
This is the shit missing from D2. The emotion between our character and the others. Our ghost used to talk to us more in D1. Now he just talks to all the other characters for us...
Two best exotics for me were this one, and Ace of Spades. Not about grinding a weekly reset doing the same mission but with more hp on the enemies. The story is where it is at for me.
I've only played Destiny 2 for the last 2-3 years, but it was quite a journey in my own pace. Lots of achievements, made some friends, first raid and grandmaster clear... Also at one point spent quite some time being solo, feeling a little bit... lonely. Listening to this made me tear up, especially with that music. No matter what experience I had as a Guardian, my Ghost was right next to me all the time. It's the first time hearing the Ghost's line toward my Guardian that hit me home.
Man I was lucky enough to get my hands on the d1 alpha and since then I was hooked on the game. Even with how destiny 1 “failed” content wise, I loved it so much, it gave me the same vibes halo 3 and reach gave me in fun and memories to be made and I was right, out off all the old halo games, alien vs predator 2010 and destiny. Destiny holds the most memories with me that make me happy and remind me of time when life wasn’t as hard as it is for me now, my family wasn’t split down the middle despising each other, didn’t have to worry about having money or when I’m gonna get food or not and if I’ll still have a roof over my head. Those was the nice days, every dlc and every patch for me in destiny was amazing and worth storing in my head and the people I met (even though some became pricks) those who hadn’t are good friends now. This is a time when destiny was fun to play in pvp and pve and you didn’t have to sweat your balls off I’m casual play just to do good. When pve content was absolutely solid (taken king still best dlc imo) destiny is fun with the friends but it don’t give the same vibes anymore as d1 did. However thank you bungie for giving us this game and the continuation of great memories made
Posting this comment the day of Final Shape’s campaign completion. The sacrifice and resurrection of our ghost was definitely the most emotional I have ever felt over this franchise. I had to come back and relive this cutscene again after that. Through the good and the bad, I am happy to say the conclusion of the story did not disappoint. Eyes up guardian.
Returning now after beating the campaign, the raid, and the final mission. I truly believe it was fate that put this video in my feed just hours before it all ended.
It made me cry like a baby then, and it makes me cry like a baby now. It hits even harder when you realize we're nearing the end of the journey. We're in the endgame now, and we would have never made it if Ghost hadn't resurrected us. So, I think I speak for all guardians when I say.... Thanks. You know... For being our Ghost.
I wish I could give my Ghost a hug! Destiny has been such a huge part of my life since year 1! I hope that in the Finale shape we get to have another one of these talks with Ghost. No matter what happens I hope us and Ghost get to really connect and make peace with whatever happens!
@@YaGirlEvelyn Ghost is like the ride or die best friend everyone wishes they had, bonded to you for life ready to fight tooth and nail to keep you alive, even sacrificing himself if it ever comes to it. I hope we continue to see more of him and our Guardian just being bros
I'll be vague, but I just want to say, when this piano played during THAT scene in Final Shape, I remembered this talk with Ghost, needless to say it was pretty emotional which doesn't happen to me often with games, Regardless of how I feel about Destiny's expansion pricing and whatever, I will say the overall writing for the story always has my attention
I never did this quest, but I love the feel of this. Just our Guardian getting to hear our Ghost explaining his story and how he looked for us, and how he's very thankful he is that we found each other.
Izlagalia I honestly think that is a “ghost” of the darkness n also little detail her “sparrow” or whatever she was riding in the beyond light trailer disappeared like how the pyramid ships above the contact events appear
When I first heard this in D1. I felt like this was the last bittersweet moment we had w/ our ghost b/c I thought for sure D2 was gonna kill our D1 ghost off somehow
I hope the end of final shape has us come back here and have a heart felt conversation with our ghost like this just a nice way to end off the light and dark saga. Right where it began
From the D1 Beta, to Day 1, to now with Season of Arrivals. I’ve been there, done that (minus Kings Fall, fuck King’s Fall). Thrown my knife, fired my Golden Gun. Blinked with my Arc Blade, and sniped with my bow before disappearing. Ghost has been there every step of the way, Dinklebot to Northbot. From Eyes Up Guardian to God Slayer. From Vanguard Hunter to the Slayer of the Keeper of Time itself. From Mountain Scout to Iron Lord. Hero of the Red War to Friend of Osiris. Ally of Rasputin to Avenger of Cayde. And now.. from Vanguard to Betrayer. Sided with the Drifter, curious go’er of the Dark. Zavala was a coward and turned his back on Cayde, the Vanguard has no meaning to my Guardian anymore. I don’t know if I’ll leave Ghost, it’ll be a hard day if I have to so I can embrace the dark. But we’ll see what happens when we get there.

Ten fucking years man! I wouldn't give it up or trade it in. I'm incredibly grateful for Destiny and Bungie. I owe a lot, if not everything, to this game and other things. I definitely think after this game, my real actual life will begin. And hopefully I'll be ready
