Those long drives will kill you. I drove 16 hours straight one day and I will never do it again. I actually got a HarvestHost account, and my last road trip to Florida I only drove 300-350 miles each day. This pretty much gave me zero stress on the road, and I had a lot of free time to relax and explore each camp site. It added a significant amount of time to my trip, but I bet my blood pressure was 50 points lower haha.
If I do get into flying I'd like to do some traveling and flying during the winter months. Maybe occasionally I could fly at home but winters are usually pretty wicked where I'm from
Yeah that can be tough. I'd recommend anyone who enters this sport to plan to stay consistant with flight. Taking a winter "off" will require some re-education in the spring. It's not liking riding a bike, however once you get the techniques solid you'll feel stronger after taking some time away.
I love this trip. So glad you shared it.
That motor sounds good!
Awesome video. Love the music. Very fitting.
Appreciate it bud, thanks

That's a great way to do it. What do you think of Harvest Host? I've thought about it but have heard mixed views.

Take the EFI up to the Sandia crest. That will give you a real test on the elevation. My motor always struggles after I get up there.
That looks awesome up there, do you live out in that area?
@@adam-newbloom yeah we fly out of Rio Rancho from there to the peak got up to about 12,000 feet last time about a month ago
