Keep in mind, because of the time difference between each planet, what has been 1 day on Sanctum for Murphy, Emori, Indra, and Madi, has been a few days for Clarke and Raven, several months for Bellamy, and many years for Octavia, Echo, Gabriel, and Hope. Also, Octavia is now older then Bellamy by a few years and Clarke by a decade.

The end of this ep got me so hyped.

whatever Bellamy believes in he goes 220% into that thing also he sorta saved his friends the fact is without the key they have no reason to keep the crew alive. hell threw out this whole season the "all for man kind" group has been trying to not kill the 100

@@bobalicon1000 been a while since I’ve watch this but if I remember right. he didn’t trust the shepherd over them he trusted an unknown entity that saved his life in a way he couldn’t explain with science. That’s like a priest telling you someone you not buying it then getting saved by Jesus. The shepherd did little to nothing to convert Bellamy that light orb thing did that. (Again been a while since I watched this so I could be wrong )
It has nothing to do with Bellamy being right or wrong. How you achieve your goals is equally important. "Doing the right thing the wrong way isn't doing the right thing". People have blinders on because they cared about his character and dismiss who he actually became - a threat to his family. If Clarke, Octavia and the rest are not thrilled to transcend I am the last to blame them. Once again Bellamy decided what is best for everyone and forced his family to do it they like it or not like he always did with his sister. He has been a sheep since S1, easily manipulated by people in authority positions. No difference here. If any character would kneel for the Shepherd (not even the other disciples did that!), that would be Bellamy Blake, the weakest of the two Blakes.
Two years late, but oh my god someone who aalctually gets Bellamy!!!! And agrees that it was totally in character! FINALLY!!
Well to be fair Bellamy was also tired of doing it the way the rest of his family did it, which always led to genocides, violence, and their homes being destroyed. He saw life at peace and wanted that for them at any cost. The way he saw it they didn’t want to kill his group but care and love all humanity. And tbh he wasn’t really wrong. If they would’ve listened to Bellamy Maddie probably wouldn’t have ended up paralyzed. She could’ve given him the code and got it over with. Or Bellamy could’ve taken the test but either way he wasn’t exactly in the wrong and he didn’t have to kill everyone to achieve what he was trying to do. He was honestly trying to save everyone and bring peace. That tbh they later reject just to live with Clarke 🙄 you could say they would’ve never found out about Maddie but I don’t think that’s true because they were persistent and were already watching them. It was only a matter of time. Besides that I do think Bellamy is a sheep although I few him finding that peace as the first decision out of him that wasn’t just being a follower but actually seeing the truth and trying to help everyone. Making a final decision to end the violence to get peace.

It's true one of Bellamy's defining traits is that he is a true believer. That's makes him so good at the things he does. He also did save his friends in this one cause they were going to get executed.

As much as fans hate to admit, the truth is that there was absolutely nothing inconsistent or ooc about what the writers have done to Bellamy's character this season. He has always been easily influenced by men in positions of authority that feed into the massive ego that he has. it's all about what he wants and what he thinks is right, no matter how many people tell him he's being a dumbass. As long as he gets to feel oh-so-righteous.

100% as someone that was a fan of Bellamy any chance he gets he goes against his friends I mean he comes back and shows no emotion towards his friends, Echo or Octavia another thing is he more or less said to Echo he would watch them all die to help the Shepard get the code for the last war and people still want to say he deserved better in season 7

I can't wait to watch your reactions to the last 4 episodes. Especially 7x13 and 7x16. But since you guys already filmed the episodes in advance i think it's safe to say that we all hated the ending from 7x13 because it was so out-of-character and so inconsistent with the character development. Not to mention that some characters should have been killed by now, like Sheidheda. Indra was good at combat, she was a warchief but the writers nerfed her. They made the characters like Hope and Jordan feel like a waste of breath like they did with Jasper post-season 2 and the Eligius 3 prisoners and Childen of Gabriel didn't even have that much to do this season. The prisoners had a lot of potential since they made a lot of them ''good guys'' in season 5 when they fought in the battle of Eden, they wanted to do better and now they're just like ''We are the baddies''. This season got wasted and it's making me mad how they managed to destroy their creations on television. This season is objectively bad in terms of writing and storytelling.
I believe that Clarke's choice was completely in line with her character and although the way Bellamy acted was a bit off character but if you go along with how they wanted to portray him as a cult believer it all adds up but I believe that new side of him should have been explored more instead of trying to develop in in like 3 episodes.
I agree with you with about the fact that the children of Gabriel and the prisoners should've been handled better, we barely saw the conflict from the children of Gabriel's viewpoint and completely none from the prisoners they just acted like generic bad guys(the only exception was Hitch and that was just one episode)
3:20 I agree and disagree. The Pike situation doesn't prove belldogs a follower at all, he literally lost his girlfriend, to his own stupidity, then got drunk, and was very easy to take advantage of, which is what Pike did. Throughout that whole arc, bellamy slowly realized he was wrong. As far as the main group, everyone literally looks up to bellamy, he's a leader. Even leaders follow people. I think that argument is rlly black and white, and nothing is ever that simple.
Bellamy is a follower we have seen it countless times sometimes happens to him that leaves him vulnerable and he becomes a sheep. First with Pike and now the Shepherd. He resulted to his core instinct as a human to survive and yes he was right but as the show itself has said doing the right thing the wrong way isn’t doing the right thing. Bellamy was a sheep dressed up as a wolf to blend in with those he is surrounded by and one of those wolves found him out and killed him to protect her pup. He was a sheep nothing more and nothing less

Bellamy is more of a follower and he is an extremist but he would never believe in The Shepherd, their whole belief contradicts everything Bellamy is about and everything that has developed in his character

This is, in my opinion, the last good episode of the show. But it still missed a huge opportunity with having Clarke in mcap. How do you do that and have no scenes from the past?

@@jacobmorrissey9721 Killing characters is fine, and when done well can improve a final season. My problem isn’t Bellamy’s death, my problem is how it’s handled. 7x14 is clearly rewritten to accommodate a massive script change, and it shows by the characters making no fucking sense in their reactions. And don’t get me started on Clarke shooting someone she cares about without knowing she doesn’t have enough bullets in the gun to kill everyone in the room and achieve her goal. The height of character assassination
After finishing the series & watching your reaction from episode 1 again, laughed really hard whenever clark makes a decision with a semblance of sanity.

Well, At the end BELLAMY WAS RIGHT. So the lesson is just because someone believes in something that you find crazy doesn't make it a cultish unrealistic thing.
Also, almost all them killed people by now, Clarke comitted genocide, octavia did, so blaming Bellamy is kind of hypocritical.
The producer and writer had issues with Bob taking time off, i can't beging to list and explain everything that came out about this.. they could of have used his time better how they have written his last arc. There are so many distractions in the writings that shows how bad this season has been.
