I think Castillo had 4 episodes concentrating on his character during the 5 year run of the show. This episode, the 2 parter with his presumed dead wife and the episode with Haing S. Ngor.
The opening scene of this episode is one of the best openings of the series. Crockett, Gina and Tubbs rush the bathroom to find DEA agent tied up and drug dealer upside down dead.
A fantastic episode. My favorite.
Yeah, this is a good one. And directed by Edward James Olmos.
My Favorite Miami Vice Episode. Honor Brotherhood
Castillo is my favorite character in this series, Olmos provided a strong screen presence with this show.
Best episode of the series. Olmos should have directed more.
Best episode ever, I served in vietnam , I can relate to this story line.

What's your name son - the part missing - my name is "Marty" just brings Castillo chills.
One of the best episodes

It was an age of men
Castillo never had a wife and kids of his own. Maybe that's why he never smiled.
He had a wife whom he thought had died but was actually alive.
Was this b4 or after or during his time in quantum leap?
So he’s a Latino man who served in Vietnam but is somehow also a samurai? How? I loved the episode as a child but never understood this.
Why not? All he needed was the training. James Bond was trained as a Samurai in You Only Live Twice
@@niss2142 at the very least, I require a proper 80’s training montage to make this plausible.
