I am truly awed by your nuanced descriptions between similar products and wanted you to know how much I appreciate it and how it steers my buying decisions. ❤
Wow reviews on so many products! I love that you did comparison on the 3 eyeliners. Esum is such a good eyeliner. I haven’t tried the new Dior and YSL. Amazing job at all the various swatches. And I’ve heard good things about Kosa blushes but haven’t seen swatches. They look amazing and very nice shades. I have the older Esum lip pencils so it was great to see the swatches of the new ones. You really killed it on how many different swatches you did between eyeliners, lipliners, & blushes. Thank you for your reviews! I’m sure it took a hard scrub to get those swatches off your arms. 😆🌺
I am always amazed at the amount of hard work you put into the reviews/swatches/comparisons-thank you for all you do!!! Re the ilia pencils, 💯 agree- the colors are all warm and not really the same as the on line swatches. I think I’ll try the Pat McGrath! . Thanks again !!!Lexi!
Your intro red blouse (dress?) with the red lipstick looks FABULOUS!! WOW!!! Great, great look!!! Those are your reds!! I ordered one of the Ilia lip crayons to try the formula. I can’t even remember which shade-but I know it will be warmer than I expected. (At least Case Study is a gorgeous shade on you!) I wish I had waited for your review. I would have absolutely passed on these. I will wait with great interest for your Sweed lip crayon review to see the shades and hear how they perform! So far I love everything I’ve gotten from Sweed!
Definitely helpful I was debating on Swoon and Dreamland . They remind me of the Laura geller baked blushes . The eyeliner portion was amazing so helpful I waited on the Dior eyeliners because I wanted the purple matte and the pearl and the matt didn't come in stock but I also had the toupe in my bag and I am glad u got it because now I definitely want to get the toupe shade. I wish the YSL would come out with more shades . I was gonna order the esum back when u put them up on community page and I totally spaced so definitely glad u went over them. U always do an amazing job with these reviews.
You look beautiful Lexi!! Thank you for an amazing review along with stellar comparisons and demos. The blushes are so pretty and the eye liners all look so pretty!! ❤
Dear Lexi , Can you do a video about Which one is the very best top 10 Pencil eyeliners ? Because we all wanted to know what is the best formula for waterline ? which one is not gonna smudge ? And also , Can you review these Brand : " Valentino , Saint Laurent , Laura Mercier , Pat McGrath , Hindash , Natasha Denona , MAKE UP FOREVER ( Not the waterproof one ) , NARS , Inglot , " Because I'm very curious about which one is the best of the best . Thank you and God bless you and your family .
Hi Lexi, you look luminous! The red lip with blouse and the Kosas Dreamland are perfect companions. I ordered three Kosas so I'm in receipt of Dreamland which is a great everyday shade that doesn't clash with other colours, and I'm supposed to receive Euphoria and Butterflies tomorrow bc they're coming from another warehouse across country. You're making me want more lol... they're so pretty, luminous and nicely buildable. I have restock notifications on. 😅 Your swatch comparisons for the blushes and everything else are fire per usual. Thank you for investing so much time, thought and energy into everything you do! 🥰❤️👏
I picked up Euphoria and Swoon and love them both with Euphoria being my favorite. It is also my favorite on you!😊 Of the Ilia, I picked up Rhyme and Gala. I do like Rhyme the best. I agree the wear time isn’t great. The PML ones wear longer and I do love the colors I bought and Mauvemoiselle is my favorite too!
You never disappoint with your comparisons; thank you! Curious if you've tried the Chanel Stylo Yeux, and if so, how do they compare to the Dior and YSL eyeliners?
Yes, I used to love the Stylo Yeux but I have found that the recent formulation dries out too quickly so I passed mine on to a friend who doesn't mind that. I find the Chanel are drier than the Dior and YSL although much closer to the Dior overall.
Pretty Lexi...The Lady in Red. ♥ Thank you for your honest opinion for the ilia lip pencils. I was kinda of skeptical of getting couple of them. And thank you for all the swatches and comparisons. Really like the ESUM liners.
Thank you very much for the wonderful review. For me, Victoria Beckham is the gold standard, primarily because I use a pencil as a base for eyeshadow. so it is very important for me how blendable pencil is. Which airliner is closer to VB? Ysl or Dior?
Hi, this was a great and very informative video, so thank you for all the details, especially on the lip and eye liners! Was ready to buy the Ilia lip crayons but after watching your review and hearing you mention Sweed crayons, I think I’ll skip the Ilia. The Dior eyeliner in Taupe has been one of my favorite go-to eyeliners even though it dried out fast. I would go through it pretty quick because it is such a great color. Also the YSL black shimmer and the Esum dual ended pencils look great. Plan on rewatching when I get home from work to see better details than what my phone has to offer Have a great day!
Hi dear Lexi!!! Wow, looking amazing with that lipstick and your top and, i think, 3 arms full of swatches at least?!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I read here about epic swatching, and that is soooo true!!!! And i just love how clear and honest you are about products, i learned a lot extra about lip pencils again! Maybe trying a Sisley than, ever, if that is the softest! And about all these eye pencils, i keep on learning! I must say a couple of years ago i hated the Sisley eye pencils, i decluttered them (had just 1 or 2), VB liners are more eyeshadow, but than shadow that stays put, i use it on the mobile lid only. Waterline, i only dare that Chantecaille off white liner with my sensitive eyes. But these from Esum are beautiful! But when it's not necessary to order products in the USA, making quite a journey to here, NL/EU, better not. Maybe i try such a new YSL one, or a Sisley one, there is so often a sale here. But i have some Esum brush books, these are sooo good for brushes, love them!!! The Kosas blushes, super beautiful!!! Thanks for another super video, Lexi, have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
Thank you so much Annemarie! I'm so glad I can help. I find swatching to be the most useful part of videos personally so I'm glad others agree. I'm so glad you love the ESUM brush books! I've been wanting to order one of those.
@@LexiJong love all your swatches, sooo super helpful!!! Love the Esum Brush books, it's an expensive hobby let them come to The Netherlands, but really worth it, i love to organise brushes in these!
Beautiful eyeliners 😊the YSL shimmery black and satin brown look gorgeous! But love the ESUM too. I actually hoping ESUM 🙏does a great sale again like last year. Still sad I didn't get the palette deal!
Love the hair! What do you have on your face that is giving the all over glow? I know you have the Radiant Cream Cle De Peau on but don't think it gives that glow (at least not on me). In fact I love their cushion but the Radiant Cream a few pegs down for me!
It's actually the cream that glows so much for me but I have a dewy primer on underneath. I'm on my last backup tube of the Dior Forever primer they discontinued last year but the Cle de Peau Brightening primer also gives me a similar glow.
Do the ysl liners last better than the Victoria Beckham ones. For some reason the Beckham ones transfer on my hooded lids (not terribly but they do a bit ) . 😢
Great review! One thing that surprises me about the Mint eyeliner in Dior, is that no reviewer connected it with the Natasha Denona Retro Glam palette. That palette has a very minty green focus. Maybe you don't have that one, but ti would have been interesting. The YSL and Esum liners look amazing. Plus I'm always on the prowl for liners that will stay put in the water line. Hard to find. And those Kosas blushes look beautiful. I'm into a softer, more diffuse blush right now and these seem to fit the bill. Will they? Thanks for the video! Really well done and helpful.💚
I do have that palette actually and I think that's a great idea. These are definitely a softer, more blurred blush with some shimmer. I think you will like them.
You are so calming and all around amazing. I need this mousse. I have fine thin straight ass hair ❤❤❤❤❤❤. We are same undertones. I’m a tad darker. Not by much tho. !twins ! I have hazel eyes
Hi, can you suggest a shade in the Dior 24H Stylo Eyeliners that would pair nicely with Dior Beige Mitzah? I like the look of the Dior liners and they're long lasting! Thanks 😊
Hi Lexi, Great review like usually! Can you tell me, please, which eyeliners dry faster after applying and also no need to sharpen? I had a Sisley one (matte brown) and I was very disappointed with it. Every time I had to sharpen was a nightmare because the lead of the pencil was breaking into sharpener. Esum is not available in Australia and I prefer to buy in store. Thanks for sharing!🙂
Thank you! Have you tried the Sisley Phyto-Khol star ones? Those are the twist up version and they are amazing imo but the pencils you have to sharpen from Sisley are disappointing. If you are particularly looking for a twist up, you might like the new Dior as they set very quickly. I think those would be my pick based off of your criteria.
@@LexiJong I just said in my previous message that I had the Sisley one (Sisley Phyto Khol star). Sisley doesn’t have other types of eyeliners (maybe in other countries), so I bought the twist up pencil. The other head of the pencil had a sharpener incorporated. I wanted to make a thinner line and every time I tried to sharpen the pencil lead was breaking into sharpener because was too soft I guess. I will try the Dior ones, maybe they are better. Thanks for advice!🙂
HI Lexi! I Love the Kosas blushes.....They did an Amazing variation of colors. What is your opinion comparing the Kosas, to RMS blushes? Formula wise, and finish? I can purchase the Kosas at my local sephora, so I can esily swatch the in store, but there is no one that carries RMS at a store near me, so I would be buying blush shades online, and hoping for the best they work. Any thoughts? Thank you!
I think both the Kosas and RMS formulas are amazing but just different. The Kosas are a bit drier, more baked-gel in texture while the RMS have a bit more of a traditional gel-powder texture. Both have shimmer but the RMS have more intense sparkle and in general are more pigmented with one swipe than the Kosas. I really love both of them but it depends what you are looking for as the Kosas is a bit more subtle and the finish is a bit more blurring.
@@LexiJong Interesting! Thank you for the breakdown on formula and finish, this helps alot! I love the Kosas, but I'm going to give the RMS a try, as my curiosity has gotten the better of me. lol!
The Ilia pencils are so disappointing. I do like the red one on you, but I swatched the whole range in the store and was surprised how different the shades looked in real life. Thank you for showing the Pat McGrath crayons. Those shades are so nice.
I was really excited about the illa lip pencils but I do not like that they are made in China no no thank you! but I will def look into the Pat Mc Garth pencils the colors look more up my street anyway 🥰😍😅
I don't think Ilia is ok, the new rewind stick foundation is mineral oil based and they advertise that the product is cruelty-free. I don't actually want to use polyethylene in clean beauty and on my face. 💙
