Gina after watching you for several weeks opens by your bead hauls, your finished jewelry and some of your tutorials You have revived my desire to bead again! I had to put mine away when I moved rooms around and I have to get them out again. I didn’t realize how much I missed doing! THANK YOU!!!!
It is so rare to find someone with the talent to give instruction WHILE someone isn't looking at every moment on screen. Absolutely wonderful video! I needed a quick refresher course! Love this pattern. I actually have a CD rom for peyote I bought years ago that is a huge help for creating new designs. :)
Hi Gina! Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. The color combinations for your ring are so pretty. You make the peyote stitch look so easy.....I know you have a lot of experience with the stich, which is why it looks so easy. I've been trying to make a bracelet using the peyote stitch for a couple of days and it's been more challenging than I expected...but I'm not giving up!! Your ring will be my next peyote project. Thanks again!! :)
Hi Gina , Those ring are lovely. I will be making a lot of these. I love the way that you show us how you do things. I love your tutorials. I have learned a lot from you so. Thank you . have a good night.
Thank you so much!!! You made this so easy for me to get. It sucks having such a hard time grasping new things. I truly appreciate you and the time you take to share your craft. :0))
Oh, Gina, I am doing my third ring!😄👍🏻😂😂😂😂Addictive for sure! The first one was with a light blue rims and center, dark silver on the 3and 2 lines and a red heart. The second one is light green rims and center, light yellow on the 3 and 2 lines and a pink heart. And the third one has black rims and center, a nice purple mix on the 3 and 2 lines and a white heart. Thanks 🙏🏻 for the inspiration!😊👌🏻🌷😍❤️👋🏻
Your rings are beautiful! I’ve got peyote down and have made a couple rings with a contrasting color on the 2 sides. But following a pattern, like the heart...I’m not sure how to keep track! Do you need to figure it out using graph paper? Any hints are SUPER helpful! Thank you from a “puzzled viewer”! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this fun little heart ring-what a nice beginner project-a few beads, a little time and "shazam" you've got a cute wearable project--finished!!
I made the heart ring!!!(Yayyy Mee!!) I did have a hard time starting..(I skipped a bead. Duh!!) It came out cute for my FIRST time at it. I tried to post a pic, but I couldn't figure it out.. Your a very good instructor. Thank you!!
Hi Chris! That's so awesome you were able to make your very first heart ring! Yay! I really appreciate you letting me know, and am so glad the tutorial was easy to follow. Thanks for watching! 💜
Yay from me too!!!! I can’t wait to make this - I don’t remember if I told you that my sister in law kidnapped my blue and white ring like your thumb ring. 😝 So I need to make myself another one!! Thank you again for sharing this! 💜💕💜
Such a cute little ring! Perfect little gift for my granddaughters. Just an fyi even though the silk satin delicas are beautiful colors they tend to be very fragile. I won't even use them anymore. I made the mistake of using two colors of them in a warped square star. GRRRR, out of several stars I made they are the only beads I had issues with breaking on me. And they broke...often. Others have had the same issues. I'm curious to know how they hold up in a ring situation.
Hi Valerie! Oh wow, thanks so much for the heads up on that! I have had no experience with them yet, but I'll look out for that issue. Thanks for watching! 💜
Very pretty! Thanks so much for this tutorial, maybe someday you can teach how to make a design and/or read it(?) It's like Math to (not good), but I'd really like to learn, as simply as possibly! Oh! And I truly appreciate the close-ups. If I can't see, I can't try. 😊
Hi, I recently attempted this pattern but I added the other pattern I found by you and my results were interesting and beautiful... may I share the picture. I am also disabled with cerebral palsy but I still love learning the new patterns out there
Hi there! Yes, please do! If you have access to Facebook, feel free to share on my page, or you can email me at orchidopaljewelry@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your comment! 💜
Hey Cathy - You would need to keep beading the length that wraps around your finger, so it really just depends on how you want it to fit you, personally. I would suggest making one, and then using that bead count (if it works for you) for your future rings.
You probably could!! Just try to draw out a little fleur de lis on some of the printable blank peyote graph paper. I think the options are almost limitless. :)
Gina, how does it feel making a video... were you worried about making a silly mistake ? Did you do a video of yourself just to see how it felt , before trying to an audience?? 🤓

ok if I were to make my own pattern for this ring, how do I know how many beds to color in to make it fit properly

You think you could make one like this with a fleur de lis instead of the heart?
You probably could!! Just try to draw out a little fleur de lis on some of the printable blank peyote graph paper. I think the options are almost limitless. :)
Orchid and Opal Jewelry & Beads Thank you and I love your work. I’m a new sub❤️
I'm finding both videos hard to see what you are doing and it would be great if you could also do the whole ring on the other side as well.
Delica beads they only come in one size?
Great question, Joanne! I have seen them come in 15/0, 11/0, and 10/0, but there may even be more! 💜💜💜
I'm TRYING it lol
You can do it!! 💜
❤️🤗
Thanks, Wadiya! 💜

Hi Debbie! I just jump right in - the ability to edit the videos is my friend. I make silly mistakes all the time! :) 💜
