Saw the upload date and "BREAKING NEWS CHRIS ROBERTS WORKS ON A GAME CALLED STAR CITIZEN" and I lol'd, as Star Citizen backer who plays the game. While always issue-ridden, it really has come a long way since when I first joined it in 2015. It'll prolly be a gem around 2030-ish.
Right? All that hope in my old update haha I backed it way at the beginning. I haven’t kept up since they released maybe the combat sim thing years ago Isn’t it still near-vaporware?
@@shomizu9 It depends who you ask. Critics will very much bash the game, fans or defenders will praise it. I'm inclined to partly agree with both sides. Again I joined in mid 2015. The game compared to what it is now was a joke back then. Barely some POIs in the multiplayer portion of the game. Or the open persistent universe part. You couldn't even land on moons or planets. It was like the X game series: You'd just blow up. The game vastly changed since then. Seamless space to ground and ground to space landing on any celestial body wherever you want, seamlessly. Many more POIs. Major POIs and planets, cities, townships, space stations, asteroid fields, etc. Sometimes events. More core features since 2015. And yet still often a janky buggy mess. My advice? Check it out yourself in a few years. By then it should be more polished and the singeplayer campaign will be out. Thanks for replying btw! Sometimes you wonder if old accounts are even still around. Are you using Firefox? I've noticed TH-cam runs like butt in it since they (FF or TH-cam, not sure which yet) have been pushing HTML5 for video playing instead of Flash (seems to have happened with the last FF update to 14). If I load this page in FF, it sort of freezes, but eventually does load - but I had to press the play button on the video instead of it starting automatically If I go to this video in Internet Explorer, it still loads using Flash, and the page acts fine.

Yeah I'm using Firefox, thanks for the note, I'll have to try it in IE or something else if it happens again. I don't want Chrome, didn't like it.
