Great Video and kit! 2 days arrival time from coast to coast and made install a breeze, Thanks Ginger! My bushings were totally shot, now ive got a 1 inch lift with better suspension
I just did mine today after buying the kit in the last fall. Have a little under 700 miles and only do road riding and usually pretty smooth not hitting to many cracks or bumps. The washer was sliced right into the stock rubber bump. I had trouble getting pin in. Both sides have that grub screw so undid both and tried sliding through the other side after greased that rod up and it would get through all the holes except one on the end. Pulling up on wheel wasn’t working. Ended up having to loosen up the two bolts that go through the springs and wiggle it to adjust it then tightened them and was finally able to push the rod all the way through. It is good to have one of those grub screws on the rod when putting it back through so the hammer doesn’t mar up the rod and make it now fit through the hole. I was able to put 8mm Allen on and spin and push rod most of the way since I had greased it. Ride was def a bit more stiffer. Went with the green set and I weigh 175lbs. I seen they been swapping gtr rear swingarm and also front fork from gtr. Think I will eventually swap to those
Hi mate. I bought the bike shown in the video after watching a video on it that you had done. I was disappointed to find that my controlller was on 48V when you confirmed it was an 60V bike. My bike had gotten so hot that some of my wiring had burnt. It is not a 60V bike theoretically because the controller is 48V which means it can overheat and cause fires which is very dangerous because its a kids bike and is kept in a house and could catch fire. Not only that but I have paid for a bike I wasn't getting. I think you should let your channel/fans/viewers know that these company's are ripping people off.... just to let you know the 60v 18.2AH it is not really 18.2 ah. This company is scamming people mate. Please do something about it as you have a platform to speak on it.

I put a video on the King / GT Group which outlines a fix that doesnt involve using aftermarket springs or bushings. - The main issue here is the incorrectly sized washer which near immediately starts digging into the softer rubber bushing on any suspension travel - this destroys the bushing and thus the rear suspension.... Most people go out and buy Poly Bushings and call it a day - Poly bushings are harder and therefore dont get destroyed as easy as the soft rubber, however it also rides harder (like shit, some say) due to the stiffer setup. There is also a second problem in that poly bushings are inflexible - meaning over time they get squished down with weight, but dont have the ability to bounce back into their original shape like the factory bushings do. I purchased properly sized washers and then used epoxy and physically glued the washer itself to the stock rubber bushing so that it acts as 1 single piece. This stopped the washer from moving around and digging into anything - thus preserving the stock bushings - im now 600 miles on my factory bushings and have no deformation at all. It really is as simple as immobilizing the washer and costs you a tube of glue

That's very true. The stock bushings also stop the compression of the spring well before they are bottomed out. The bushings that come with this kit are around 30% shorter too, so the springs can compress more. Just to the point before they bottom out.

@@GingerOnWheels look on the kaabo group it said the mt5e magura on GTR are plug n play on the front and on the back you need the adaptor from tanakorn and a 180 rotor. also the new mantis color display is plug n play on all kaabo scooters with tft GTR wolf king etc. Its alot nicer than current tft display. On alli for $60.

I was thinking about what you said about not tightening the screws too much on reassembly, and it will give more travel. If i did this and hit a speed bump and compressed rear suspension all the way, would those screw not protrude out of the recess, make contact with the bar and potentially brake? How many turns do you suggest?
I've installed a couple. I did 8 full turns on the first one and 6 on the second. Both are still up and running for now. Hopefully they don't loosen up, catch that bar, and break off!

Hey Ginger.. just got the kit.. but i also oreded red bushings from leet 3d.. the 75% ones.. and they are almost double in length than the ones that came with the kit.. Should i use the ones that came with your kit or the longer ones? Thanks
Try them both and use whichever you prefer. You've got it made with both options! I obviously prefer the shorter ones, that way the scooter squishes down more on the springs instead of the bushings. My bushings are made to act more like bumpers, to stop the spring compression right before it actually bottoms out and damages the spring.
Hey man love the videos ive got a used kaabo wolf king but its only going 35-40mph any ideas why ? It takes off at full power spinning the front wheel but around 35mph limits itself im not sure if i messed up a setting but ive taken it apart and put it back together 3 or 4 times and cant find anything disconnected its been months (it did go the full 62mph when i got it and goes full speed in rwd free wheeling on a stool but not 2wd turbo on 3 ) any help or advise is greatly appricated 🤜🤛
My guess is that there is something melted or wrong with your rear motor phase wires. If its not that, and you're sure the p settings are maxed, then it's probably a controller issue.

I weigh 195-200lbs (I work out a lot and my weight varies monthly) which makes it hard to choose which kit to get. Will the ultra duty make my ride too stiff? I do strap on a large speaker often but not sure if that justifies going ultra vs heavy.
I weigh about the same as you now. I prefer the ultra duty, but I also ride my scooter pretty hard. If you're just a commuter/cruiser doing the occasional curb hop then you'll probably be fine with heavy

Pro tool tip from a professional mechanic: Get a can of dust spray if you don't have compressed air to get the dirt out of the bolt so you get even contact with your tools and prevent stripping.
You can get a mailbox with a shipping forwarder. There are lots of companies here who will give you a US-based mailbox. You can have things shipped to that mailbox and then the company will forward it to your international address. Like MyUs.com
That would be Kaabo's factory construction for the brakes. It's also trash. You can move / remove spacers on the two screws where the brake caliper mounts to the frame to increase how much of the rotor is being used.

After seeing it I replaced them on my GT with stainless for the peace of mind. Especially since he said he's only a 140 pound rider.
Just give it a peak under your rear fender with a flashlight. You'll see two springs (or a flap with two springs underneath on the GT pro). Inside the springs are two rubber bushings, if they look ripped, torn, or smashed, then your rear suspension is on the way out.

I dont know which bike you're talking about. The Roadrunner Pro is the only bike in this video and it is definitely 60v battery/charger.

You can buy the normal red tail light lens off a Warrior/GT which fits and is considerably brighter.
Yeah, rear fender from the Regular king and 11+ wolf are the same size and not blacked out.

Oops I fitted factory bushes and springs the other day and tightened those Allen key bolts up super tight. Do I need to slacken them off?

How long would say the original suspension will last before doing the upgrade? im a noob beginner in the mechanic department 😂

Extra pro tip, use an electric air pump with the attachment for basketballs. Battery powered, portable.

On that rear rotor why in only half of it being used.. what’s causing that?
That would be Kaabo's factory construction for the brakes. It's also trash. You can move / remove spacers on the two screws where the brake caliper mounts to the frame to increase how much of the rotor is being used.
@@GingerOnWheels that… is stupid… why use the whole rotor ( for obvious reason ) when you can use half which will burn up pads and rotors quicker.. generate less braking power.. and be dead weight.. lol

After seeing it I replaced them on my GT with stainless for the peace of mind. Especially since he said he's only a 140 pound rider.

Yes, yellow is weakest, red is stock, green is stiff, and brown is ultra stiff.
How can I know if my rear suspension is still good, without taking the scooter apart?
Just give it a peak under your rear fender with a flashlight. You'll see two springs (or a flap with two springs underneath on the GT pro). Inside the springs are two rubber bushings, if they look ripped, torn, or smashed, then your rear suspension is on the way out.
Most likely you need a new suspension the stock one sucks
I got the ultra. It definitely feels higher. Been pretty sweet. I broke the suspension rod this morning.

I was disappointed to find that my controlller was on 48V when you confirmed it was an 60V bike. My bike had gotten so hot that some of my wiring had burnt. It is not a 60V bike theoretically because the controller is 48V which means it can overheat and cause fires which is very dangerous because its a kids bike and is kept in a house and could catch fire. Not only that but I have paid for a bike I wasn't getting. I think you should let your channel/fans/viewers know that these company's are ripping people off.... just to let you know the 60v 18.2AH it is not really 18.2 ah. This company is scamming people mate. Please do something about it as you have a platform to speak on it.
