I am mesmerized by the condition of your hair BEFORE you began washing your hair. It looked SOOO moisturized as if you just finished washed day. This is definitely a testament to your routine/technique AND consistency. I kid you not your patience with your hair and your willingness to take us step by step through your hair care regime will help hundreds of women watching including myself and my daughter. Thank you 🙏🏽. Filming is time consuming and to add this task to your wash day, I’m grateful!
She just told me that the reason why my hair is not at its full potential is because Im lazy and I don't self care like I should. I can see all her strands are well defined and POPPING!!! She has achieved maximum hydration without chemically altering her hair in my opinion. I plan on starting my hair journey with a well needed cut which will bring my hair right under my chin. I will be implementing your techique from then on to make sure it carry it along throughout my hair care.
Hello and thank you! I find doing my hair to be very therapeutic and this wash day allows me to sit with myself and just be. Your wash day does not have to be this detailed, just make sure you love yourself every now and again. 😊
Shampooing outside the shower with a stronger shampoo and then using a less stripping shampoo for the 2nd cleanse is smart! Will definitely be trying that. Thank you
Truly relaxing wash day! This was a reminder for me to take my time and be gentle- a wonderful way to pamper ourselves and experience self care. Thann you for sharing 😊
I love your hair. I started my healthy haircare routine a year ago and my hair has grown over 10 inches in a year. It is healthier than it has ever been. You got me started on my Ayurvedic haircare products when I heard you meantion Alma powder. Now I have added a lot of Ayurvedic products to my regime. 👍🏽🤗🌹🙏🏽💖
Hello, I have thought I had a lot of patience until now.. 😆 you are very thorough. Your unbothered face in the shower had me laughing and your resting face is serious.. thank you for sharing 😊
I used to do all of this but i noticed that using my same parts wasn't helping. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person who likes this method. I also need ro start taking my vitamins again.
I think i would have used conditioner first with heat to detangle…and also at the very end applied the mask with heat….but u loved ur use of product. I’ve been enjoying bond repair in my routine, interested to see the long term impact as i heat style often.
Hi, have you thought about only using the Amla conditioner or the Amla mask in order to gain some time? Their ingredients and claims are very similar too.
I use the entire collection on wash day. The instructions state to use the apply the condition first rinse and then apply the mask. Some may skip the mask and not use it every wash day.
Where have you been all of my life, Ms Beautiful 😊 Your hair is gorgeous, and thanks for the way you take time to thoroughly explain the process. It has helped me so much! Would you please explain how to use WEN on a two strain twist?
Thank you for this video. I admire your patience with the untwisting & re-twisting. I saw the use of the chebe powder but when are you using the odara chebe grease?
The hardest part of doing my hair for me is time management, it takes me so long to finish my hair sometime I have to go to work with it half finished lol😂 I’m looking into getting more head wraps and scarfs for that reason lol
Welcome to the community! I have a least 2 shorts showing my shedding after I reapply the Chebe but I cannot remember which ones as I do daily videos, but I will make a note to myself for Thursday’s reapplication!
Thank you for sharing! Your skin and hair is sooooo healthy and I see why. You are super gentle and take your time. My patience is so short and it takes me hours to do my hair because I take breaks. Lol. How long does this whole process take? Do you have high or low porosity?
Wow! Taking out and redoing throughout 😅 definitely not a small task, I will try shampooing outside the shower, how long does the whole process take you?
Regular tap water but I do warm it up. I would like to try distilled but I always forget when I go to the store. I am also open to trying the new Jolie shower head!
Your hair is lovely. Why don't you just do the whole wash process in jumbo twists and only unravel them at the styling stage? After all, type 4 hair fluffs in water and lets the product out under a shower. I'm asking because I imagine that twisting and re-twisting at each step is overmanipulation. I also would expect the wash process to be much shorter.
Hi, in order for a conditioner/mask to be effective it has to be apply along all over the hair shaft. Also at some point she does finger detangle which also requires your hair to be loose at some point. If your hair stays twisted during the entire process then you will be missing some parts of hair with the conditioner/ mask. Is it the end of the world? No. But if you spend money on a product it's best in my opinion to use it the appropriate way to get the best result. You can do the same but put your hair in bantu knots instead so it goes faster. Also instead of using a conditioner+mask.... I use one deep conditioner/mask that does everything in one step. Like her I finger detangle at each step. Touching hair is not overmanipulation, it dependson how you manipulateit and how.. She is only doing very loose big twists without brushing, combing, tugging...while hair is saturated with products and under running water which makes hair more manageable and supple. Yes hair can be more fragile when wet when you brush it or pull it....but that's clearly not the case here.
Hello Rosa! I have tried washing my hair in twists. Not only do the products that I apply to my hair on wash day not rinse out but the products that I have been applying to my hair during the 2 weeks remains in my hair as well. Meaning my hair will not be thoroughly cleansed. With the chebe journey I am on I am adding a ton of product to my hair I need to be sure my scalp and hair are clean.
That's how I do it, I keep the twists in for the applications of shampoo. But I leave it for a while to soak in, that clarifies it better. The final rinse of shampoo, I loose each of my 7 twists one by one and rinse it out thoroughly, then twist back. I come out of the shower and use a leave in conditioner that doubles as a deep conditioner(Profectiv Mega Growth Hair Strengthener- my high porosity 4c hair with super fine strands loves it!), cover my twists with a cap for 10 minutes, then style my hair. No returning to the shower for me! Since I only shampoo my hair in the shower, my wash day is 45 minutes at the most. 1 hour and 45 minutes of you count the deep conditioning and styling. It's working so far, as my hair is now 18 to 19 inches since I stopped relaxing in 2020, thanks and praise to God! Hope this helps someone. 🙏
@@pragooutubeThats incredible I want to try chebe but i notice that an ingredient in chebe is clove and i know my hair is protein sensitive and clove has strengthening properties I just don't want my hair to break and get dry. Have you used chebe in your routine to get that length?
@lsago Thanks. No, I never used it. Only things I've ever tried since going back natural are: prepooing with aloe vera gel, coconut oil/ olive oil. My routine has more or less stayed consistent, créme of nature moisturizing argan oil shampoo, and Profectiv Mega Growth leave in conditioner. (I did use Treseme then Aussie Moist in the earlies, though). For my scalp I use Sulphur 8 mixed with Top Brass, and several drops of peppermint, lavender and rosemary essential oils. I also sometimes use it after I use Rev-air on the cool setting
