model of that foot switcher? morningstar... what? that thing looks amazing. my setup is simple. randall rm out to a g major 2, to a bbe back to amp to cabs. but i love how that pedal board lights up each channel .. easier to see!
Great work on the snake and rig, love how you geeked out with the strain relief. Awesome sound and playing as usual. Are you using any Helix amp/pre-amp models? IRs?
Hey Cal! And thank you! I really enjoy building rigs like this. Good question: My clean snapshot actually bypasses the preamp channel on my amp and I send a Jazz Rivet 120 amp model to the return of my amp. It's a very full/lush clean and sounds very sparkly and bright on the top end. I don't currently use any Impulse Responses but I do experiment with them from time to time. I get great results with the Emulated Out on the back of my amp (shown in the video). It's a very real sounding (and feeling) simulation of a cab. Thanks for reaching out!
Thanks Phil! There is a video I want to get permission for so that I can post it up! Someone took a great video of our intro for this show...just need it dropboxed!
Whatsup Bam! Great question: I really like using this DiMarzio leopard print strap that I have but I do bring two (matching length) straps with their own NeoTech pouches and dedicated wireless packs. The cool thing about the G70 wireless is that you can hit the footswitch on the unit and switch between two active wireless packs on the fly. This makes changes really fast. I do have a third pack for "just in case" situations but I'm not certain how many packs I can actually pair. I'll need to look into that!
@@TheLaw1 Thanks I noticed you were using a wireless system but I didn't notice straps on the guitars in your rack so I wasn't sure if you swapped straps if you needed to swap guitars. I know I would end up forgetting to charge units if I had to rely on that system myself....
@@BAMozzy69 For sure dude! I am pretty good at managing my small gear like allen keys, screwdrivers, string winders, etc but I have a feeling that if I spent the money on rechargeable AA batteries then I wouldn't manage that as well. I usually just buy a 24 pack of AA's and it will last me for about two months. I have used rechargable's in the past but over time they don't hold their charge very well. I need a sponsor from Energizer! LOL
Killer sound, killer playing! Thanks for keeping that 80’s rock alive!
Wow! Thanks Volac! 🤘

Good question!
