VORTEC 8100!!! What a sound! Had a 2004 Suburban with this beast. MPG is fucked up! But hey - I was a Platinum customer at my local gas stations though.

Nice rig…I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500hd 8.1L extended cab with 8 ft box and I’m having the most difficult time finding a winch bumper for my rig. All the sites I have checked only appear to have them for the 99-02 1500 trucks only. Can anyone help me to find one for the 02 2500hd? Thanks

Over five years driving it all parts including tires just under 20000 canadian. . That bein said i have my own shop and do all my own work including fabricating

If I can get an adapter housing made for an Allison 1K with the SAE No.3 bellhouse to fit on a 460 block, then I'll have a truck like yours (by that I mean in terms of having a big block engine and an Ally trans. Not trying to actually turn my F-150 into a replica Sierra 😆🤣)

Really mine has been solid a1... my engine has a noise that squeaking isn’t a belt it’s either a rod bearing, or wrist pin bearing

I personally had one for a work truck put 100000kms on it and it was more to fix up then what it was worth.. worst truck ever built they shoulda stuck with only 5.0

@@BurninGas8.1 Currently its off the road. just got it running again last week. We have had it since 2007 but its sat a lot. The wife and i just took it out tonight to cruise the logging roads and pipelines for the first time in a while. I just pulled the blower motor today to replace it when i get parts. Next step will be getting the A/C fixed as its hot here in Louisiana. Then I'll have the interior cleaned as its sat for a while and has mildew in it. Planning on flushing brake lines, trans, coolant and all that in the next few months. Then will start looking into replacing the current flowmaster exhaust with maybe headers or something. Then a cam and tune. I'm honestly needing to get it as a backup tow vehicle. Enjoyed your video. Keep it up, I subscribed.

Im doing intake manifold mod next and ordered some new dmax store tie rods and all hd ball joints new headlights and new aluminum intake and filter. Sucks canadian dollar is 68 cents right now . I wish i lived in us for sake of performance parts. Plus ya add shipping to that and once it hits border whatever the dollar transfer is to usd so say 69us equals 100 canadian our government taxes us 15 percent on top of that lol. So literally a 69 dollar part is 115 canadian plus shipping it sucks

When exhaust goes under water which befor i put stacks on it did and i was lucky to get out of the hole i was in. Since that day i said that wont happen again unless whole truck is submerged
