It would seem like the correct fix would be to press a tapered mandrel through the helix and then deburr the side the mandrel exited. It would make it the right size and keep it round.
Appreciate the video, and that sir is why you have been blessed with your business. Always willing to help someone out. It might not make you super rich but honesty, integrity and respect you can’t put a price on.
Great information as always. I would need some advice though. My friend has a cforce 600, and is going through belts every 500 miles or so since brand new-he mostly rides on road at 50mph or so. The official dealer doesn't know what is wrong so now that it is out of the warranty I disassembled the cvt, but no obvious culprits are to be seen. The secondary has it's spring clocked on B1, weights are 20 grams. Is there a possibility that primary and secondary are axially out of alignment?
@@R.N.GPerformance I sent my buddy to you for parts and tools. He needs the compressor tool, and I want him to get the primary plastic wear items and the secondary plastic wear items as well. It's for a z force 1000ex so I can reclock and tune up the clutches for him. He is gonna call you tomorrow.
I could see how it would be easy for someone to bind up with the spring pressure and not paying full attention to how it seats on the shaft. Looks like youve done this so many timesn that your muscle memory won't let you screw it up...lol
You're so good at fixin' 'em. You can't even break one on purpose!😎
😂 😂 right.

I would say the weights are wrong. Get one of our primary kits it will fix that.
👍
The part of the tool that goes on the helix
I have been there and done that!
Right lol
did it not bind up because you already ground off the shaft with the milwaukee?
Good possibility.
Off centre your tool and it binds right away !!
I'd buy the "repaired" helix for a discount 🤷♂️
I’ll keep it for one of my future builds lol

Happened on mine not as bad got it unstuck by running it back down and tightened it up and it came unstuck.
I've had many problems with my CF Moto. Is there somewhere I can DM you and ask for advice and to see if you experience the same issues?
