Your garage is your best studio no echo from empty wall clear Mike can hear your real good just need a couple extra camera angles on above and one coming from the other way
great video man , i just blew the rear in my uforce 1000 , i only have 1300 miles on it and i dont beat it those china bearings are the problem they suck and it doesnt matter what oil you put in they just dont hold up, the factory is cutting corners in the wrong place
Steve I used a small dab of silicone paste on all my fluid caps, it helps...I also cant imagine all the parts youll need are going to save you anything over just buying a whole new diff...I bet ten to one the parts are going to be too much if only available from cfmoto...
Sure now you do a rear differential repair video. I started following you last year when I tore mine up and was looking for a video on it. I just bought a whole new diff and swapped it bc I didn't know how to fix it.
Lol sorry haha. I bought a new one so i have time to play around with this one stay tuned. Soon as i have the money to mover forward we sure will. Thank you for watching.
I was figuring it be a bearing or the pinion. so was it riding on the outside of the ring gear from the cam angle it look like it was eating the outside of the ring and some spots look inside.
The outside spots are from the pinion slapping around. There is way more wear on the inside indicating it was shimmed too tight and there is no wear marks in the center where there should be. Boils down to my dealer rebuilt it wrong and there is nothing i can do about it to hold them liable.
@@R.N.GPerformance ya I fig they didn’t know what they was doing to begin with. I could see wear on outer and inner and was wondering which damage was from being shimmed to tight and from slapping around. Aggravating they didn’t listen to ya in the end
Is that diff a sealed unit? Could it be ran without a axle shaft on one side? The reason I ask, I have a big yard to roll. And without turf mode, removing one side would prevent tearing up my nice yard. Thanks
Not sure if you will see this as this video is 2 years old but i have a 600 tiring and hit a mug hole and ever sense its jumps in low RPM forward and reverce took it to the dealer and was told the belt was smoked so i changed that and still does it.. would you happen to know anything to help.. its only in low RPMs low speed it does not do it if the gas is smashed

Hello, On the cf 800 xc on the back we have a self-locking differential, do you recommend disassembly and to be welded, permanently blocked as is the case with can-am? Regards 🙏🏻♥️
Does the 2022 rear differential for UForce 1000 bolt right up to a 2021? I’d like to have the Limited Slip Differential. I do a lot of pavement riding and I really hate that locked diff on UForce 1000.
I follow you from Saudi Arabia. You are the best person at explaining CFmoto breakdowns and the best at photography
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate you buddy.
So from what I understand that is not actually a diff, it's only a drive. The rear wheels turn at the same speed.
Love this teardown videos😊
Thank you i

I was wearing my wireless mic right by my mouth lol. Im working on different camera angles.

Agreed 💯
very interesting, not many people want to completely disassemble and share videos like this
Thank you. Thats why my channel is a slow grower because no on is interested in watching. Thank you for watching.
@R.N.GPerformance about how much did it cost to do all that
Glad to see it wasn’t actually due to a cfmoto part failure and it was an install issue. I just hit 4100 miles on my original diff with 28” mayhems
Me too. But honestly CFMOTO will be to blame by other people that have the same kind of issues from CFMOTO dealer network.
Appreciate your knowledge
Wear pattern when new maybe, not after some use. Was definitely shimed to tight, only need .005 preload on bearings when new.
Wonder if i could hold them liable?

We are going to find out for sure. Thank you for the tip i will definitely try that.
Good diagnostic, gear wear tells all ! Hope you take to dealer mechanic so they can learn also
Thank you. I sent that dealer this video.
Where can I buy the rear differential rebuild kit for my 2018 cfmoto zforce 800 trail?
Great video
Thank you.
It means that the contents of the ratio are solid lock differential
Do you have the install video of this? Or of any cf diff? I looked and couldn’t find anything.
Good information for when I get one.
Thank you brother. Hope you get one soon we can definitely ride together.
Hope so too. Didn't make it back in time to come out but I'll try again next week
@@thatguydub_ same here buddy we come out to the campground hit the lake and decided to open the camper and stay lol.
Impressive!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks

I’m not sure but if you message me I can look it up for you Monday. Message me on my website www.rngperformance.net

No sir it cant be ran like that.

I’m not too sure.
What is the torque specification for those bolts? Thank you.
You can get a repair manual from www.CFMOTOusaparts.com. I’m not sure.

It should. Only thing that’s different is the clutch pack in the diff.
No Warranty I guess.
No.
What company are you shipping it to ?
i hasve decided not to the cost of rebuilding it plus the cryo treat wouldnt be worth it
this is not a differential, FFS, but a final drive.
It’s neither. It’s a rear axel assembly!
is it really a "differential " ?? all we see is a simple gear, no spiders,,, therefore cannot be named "differential"..!
