    So from what I understand that is not actually a diff, it's only a drive. The rear wheels turn at the same speed.

    great video man , i just blew the rear in my uforce 1000 , i only have 1300 miles on it and i dont beat it those china bearings are the problem they suck and it doesnt matter what oil you put in they just dont hold up, the factory is cutting corners in the wrong place

    Glad to see it wasn’t actually due to a cfmoto part failure and it was an install issue. I just hit 4100 miles on my original diff with 28” mayhems

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me too. But honestly CFMOTO will be to blame by other people that have the same kind of issues from CFMOTO dealer network.

    Wear pattern when new maybe, not after some use. Was definitely shimed to tight, only need .005 preload on bearings when new.

    Steve I used a small dab of silicone paste on all my fluid caps, it helps...I also cant imagine all the parts youll need are going to save you anything over just buying a whole new diff...I bet ten to one the parts are going to be too much if only available from cfmoto...

    Sure now you do a rear differential repair video. I started following you last year when I tore mine up and was looking for a video on it. I just bought a whole new diff and swapped it bc I didn't know how to fix it.

    I was figuring it be a bearing or the pinion. so was it riding on the outside of the ring gear from the cam angle it look like it was eating the outside of the ring and some spots look inside.

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The outside spots are from the pinion slapping around. There is way more wear on the inside indicating it was shimmed too tight and there is no wear marks in the center where there should be. Boils down to my dealer rebuilt it wrong and there is nothing i can do about it to hold them liable.

    • @guidryjoey8855
      @guidryjoey8855 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@R.N.GPerformance ya I fig they didn’t know what they was doing to begin with. I could see wear on outer and inner and was wondering which damage was from being shimmed to tight and from slapping around. Aggravating they didn’t listen to ya in the end

    Is that diff a sealed unit? Could it be ran without a axle shaft on one side? The reason I ask, I have a big yard to roll. And without turf mode, removing one side would prevent tearing up my nice yard.
    Thanks

    Not sure if you will see this as this video is 2 years old but i have a 600 tiring and hit a mug hole and ever sense its jumps in low RPM forward and reverce took it to the dealer and was told the belt was smoked so i changed that and still does it.. would you happen to know anything to help.. its only in low RPMs low speed it does not do it if the gas is smashed

      @@racgaming8274 that would be why. Gates belts suck Only belt I’ve found to last long and be smooth is the OEM belt. Witch is the reason we only sell OEM belts and no other belts. I’ve tried them all there is many reasons I’ve went over in videos as to why but take it from my experience I only run OEM belts in my units I’ve had no bad experience with oem. With the aftermarket belts they come apart, aren’t smooth, they slip, most aren’t even the correct size. We sell the oem belts for 229.99 www.rngperformance.net

    Hello,
    On the cf 800 xc on the back we have a self-locking differential,
    do you recommend disassembly and to be welded, permanently blocked as is the case with can-am?
    Regards 🙏🏻♥️

    Does the 2022 rear differential for UForce 1000 bolt right up to a 2021? I’d like to have the Limited Slip Differential. I do a lot of pavement riding and I really hate that locked diff on UForce 1000.

    is it really a "differential " ?? all we see is a simple gear, no spiders,,, therefore cannot be named "differential"..!
