Such an amazing group of artists. Awesome concert...the music, rainstorm, river nearby, full moon... Appalachia is where it's at. Sierra Ferrell, come back and see us soon! Thank you, Bob Bennett, for recording these video treasures!
Everyone should note this video was taken in 60 fps (frames per second) which is double that of the standard 30 fps. I do notice the extra-extra sharpness.
I like hearing this version....not knowing what the original melody of the song was like, i have a feeling this is how it was originally performed back in the olden days.... Tho, Molly Tuttle's version is mind-blowing (sung in the GD style).... The great thing is, i get to see BOTH bands this summer!!

If you like jam band music, this is good. Come to Brown County, Indiana - we've got several of these bands in Nashville and you'll dig 'em! Otherwise, no one can top Rowan, Rice, Gilchrist, and Davies' version of Pete's song at the 2005 Suwanee Festival.

Molly Tuttle version is great from a woman’s perspective but look up the Norwegian band Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra. Their version is from a woman’s perspective, as well, and it’s equally exceptionally well done considering English is not their native language.
The first version of this song that I heard was from the band Pentangle with amazing vocals by Jacqui McShee, which I really like. I wasn't aware until now that so many others have done covers of this song. Sierra is one of my favorite artists for obvious reasons.
My left ear loves this
Absolutely incredible performance
Haven't seen a Sierra Ferrell clip in ages. ❤
Real music by real musicians 🎶
That was a fantastic show last night. Even the driving rain couldn't spoil the fun. So glad I got to see it.
Thanks. What a show it was!

I liked that Molly Tuttle sang the story from the point of view of the wife.

They were good but unfortunately the sound quality wasn’t very good. Too many people talking over the music.
And yelling louder than the music like morons
I agree. Sound not up to best quality
Mic ing on these videos has decreased in quality the last few months..Sierra's not heard as well as she should be.

All the screaming and hollering is such a distraction.
Non sense my sense that is
I agree. Damn women never stop talking either at concerts.
@@virginiatrailcameravideos no respect for the artist or those who spent a lot on tickets.
Has a Maggie's farm vibe to it
Why is everyone screaming like morons louder than the music
