      Well, top end mobile games support 90hz/120hz including the upcoming PUBG update. These games require exceptional levels of RAM and GPU performance to start with, and playing competitively benefits from a higher refresh rate.
      Plus, the Android ecosystem is notoriously poorly optimised. Meaning that smooth running of multiple applications often requires a brute force approach.

    Just got mine on Friday. Ive always been back and forth with iphone/ Android. Last Droid was an S7 switched from an I8 to the 7pro. Loving it! Only letdown so far is that the OnePlus switching tool would not install on my iphone. So I lost a lot of contacts and photos. Found a way to switch my photos after fooling around for a while. Has anyone else had an issue installing the Oneplus switch app on the Iphone they were leaving behind? It installs but stays grayed out, if you click on the app unable to install...

    Choosing this phone was such a struggle for me. I just ordered mine yesterday. The specs on this thing are insane. This phone is without a doubt the best bang for your buck. I'm a photographer though... and one of the top 3 things I"m going to do with it is photos. I'm hoping the Google Port will be my saving grace on this! We'll see!! Paying 500 more for the pixel 4 and getting maybe 1/3 of this phone wasn't going to work for me.

    If they're going to stick with the phones that don't have wireless charging, I'd prefer to see aluminium backs. Less fingerprints on the phone, feels more premium + more durable. You don't get the pretty effects but the benefits really outweigh the negatives imo.
    Also, I'm still not a fan of the curved screen after using curved screen phones for a couple of years, I'd love to go back to non curved but all the best phones have curved.

    • @noka5730
      @noka5730 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, glass backs are considered premium nowadays. If the phone doesn't have it, people would expect the phone to be alot cheaper. Also wireless charging is the future, but it's still not fast enough.

    It's a nice looking phone and that scroll knob on the right is cool. The One+ software experience looks tons better than my phone. However, I just got an LG G8 Thinq and the battery during normal daily use for me last 2 full days. I just burned 14 hrs just now and I'm still at 64%. My screen has been on full brightness for a good portion of the day and I put it down to about half during dark hours, because it's so bright. I didn't game or do any real video play, so maybe that's why I'm getting so much battery life out of it, but I go into the phone constantly checking email, texting, doing phone calls and sometimes taking pictures. I'll have to test it for gaming/video on an extended run, but so far this thing is far and above any phone I've had. Plus, it also has a headphone jack and SD card expansion for extra storage.

      BloodSoccer Incorrect. Clawing is a very niche technique, and it’s hard to master to boot. 3D Touch is much easier and more comfortable.

    • @bloodsoccer1012
      @bloodsoccer1012 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@element1192 Hard to master? Well, i disagree. I mastered 4 finger claw within 10-12 days. First 2-3 days are the hardest but then you get used to it and after you've mastered it, it is so much better than 3d touch. Plus, you can play on any device without having to rely on 3d touch. For people like us who play esports, you don't get to carry your own phones at LAN events, how would you rely on 3d touch? And for normal users, if they switch to a phone without 3d touch, your gameplay gets bad. Claw is reliable plus dynamic.

    • @element1192
      @element1192 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      BloodSoccer I just find it difficult having four fingers on screen at the same time. It feels a bit clunky, and I like shooting and aiming with the same finger at the same time. I will give claw a try, but I think I’ll stick to 3D Touch until I end up getting a new phone.

    Constructive criticism: this "re-review" is mostly empty and fanboy-like as a video considering none of the information in the vid is a direct result of you using it for two months, it's more of a spec sheet reading and seems like that's what this video is all about, the camera part was the only useful part in my opinion. But you're kinda falling into the bucket of the normal tech youtuber that doesn't actually give you content you wanna care about. I know it has a reader under the display, i know it has top notch performance and a 90HZ display, but dude I don't need to know that after 2 months. 1 year is long-term, two months is basically new, just my overview on this whole thing, production quality is still on top tho

    Awesome info. Thanks! I had bought a oneplus 7 international version, with some skepticism. Although all the great reviews are out there and people that I know personally have had great things to say about it, I have run into some problems for the first time today. I have had this phone for a week now. And today my phone app and UI System app crashed (dialogue box popped up weather to wait for the app or to close it.) both, phone one first, system one second. All the while my phone did not respond to making a call. It froze while doing so. Not here to trash the phone, just want to know if anyone has run into similar issues. The only reason why this worries me is because I had this happen to me on a low budget phone (pantech) and never on samsung galaxy 5 and 7 which I used previously.

    Ive been having this phone for 3 months now and the microphone just stopped working so I already have to send it in. Anyone else having this problem?

      @@112523 I guess so I found a thread where a bunch of people have had the same problem. Luckily there is a warranty so oh well I guess
