Passionate Locs I JUST pinned her the other day and was thinking the SAME thing cuz the video didn’t have any information.... glad I didn’t fast forward this video when her background fell down cuz I would have missed out knowing it was HER😊
I’m entering week 3 of my starter locs (2 strand method) and the frizziness is real. Hearing you talk about that really helped me because I thought I was going crazy. 😂😂
I love your locs, they’re so beautiful 😩. I restarted my locs after a year. I’m now three weeks in with a new set (03.08.2020). My first set was superrrr thick, now this set is like shmedium.
Omg I literally have pinned so many of your pictures and mini videos of your hair (like the one in your little commercial break) and ironically this video just popped up in my recommended! I got so hype when I put two and two together lol #newsubbie
First time seeing your channel and during your commercial break I realized I used a pic of the back of your head from Pinterest to tell my loctician what size I wanted. So.. thanks 😂😂
Your hair is gorgeous!!! So glad you chose to let go of relaxers. It is now known that relaxers used over a long period of time cause dents in the skull and a layer of chemical buildup under the scalp. All this can be seen when autopsies are performed on black women who use relaxers.
@@iamnotmyhandle I remember reading years ago that in England, they tried to outlaw relaxers with certain levels of chemical straighteners in them. But black beauticians protested because the level that would be allowed was insufficient to really straighten the hair. The beauticians said they would have to go out of business if the stronger chemicals were no longer permitted by law. Because of this outcry, the government relented and allowed the harsher chemicals to remain in these products. So any chemicals strong enough to straighten hair are dangerous. They say on autopsies there is something called “ green brain” which is a collection under the scalp of chemical buildup from these products over time. Very unhealthy and life-threatening.
I’m 19 & I just started my loc journey January 14th 2020 which is deeply special to me bc it’s my moms funeral date but I gonna semi-free form I’ll be 4 months April 14th & I plan of keeping my locs 💙💃🏽they’re spiritual & have a deep meaning women with locs are a form of art 🖼no matter how we loc them our hair shapes us & I’m all for it you look beautiful & stunning with them 💗🙏🏽I cant wait to see how my locs prosper & get thicker healthier & then longer I drink lots of water I mean lots 🤪😂but I’m deeply excited to see how they turn out I even named my locs looool but there my best-friends 💅🏽🙅🏽♀️👑
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing that 🙏🏾✨ May she continue to live peacefully in her next life💕💕 I definitely feel you when it comes to you being spiritually connected to your locs! And the fact that you feel that way about them and you’re only 4 months in?? You’re going to LOVE this journey! Stay strong beautiful 💪🏾💕🧚🏽♀️✨
Free form locs are so beautiful! Met and gorgeous, incredibly smart girl last semester at school and her free form locs were aspirational! Funny thing, we also had a classmate who had, what had to be, half a million+ sister locs that were down her back and another classmate with diy thick locs that were cropped just above shoulder length. They all, their hair and themselves, were just stunning! Have fun on your journey, lovely 💛.
I’m 16 and thinking about doing locs and I was here thinkin my hair would just grow vertically instantly but I had no idea there was an entire process so thank you so much for this video😭🥺👏🏼✊🏼
I'm so excited!!! I'm about to celebrate 3 years next month and there are not that many thick loc queens!! My journey has been similar but I started with coils. love it and definitely ordering some new loc jewels to celebrate !
Omg, I found Youuuu! 🙌🏽 I have a few pictures of you and your locs saved in my phone for inspiration to keep going and I'm scrolling through loc videos and this one just springs up! Yesss!! I'm coming up on a year...Yours are soooooo beautiful. Mine are thick too! 😁 Hopefully they are as beautiful as yours at year 3. 🤞🏽🥰😘
I know you hear it alot but I also saw your pins on Pinterest and was hoping you had a TH-cam channel. Yay you do! I love your locs they are so carefree and fun 😁
This was beautiful. Thank you for making this. It is so important to trust the process and embrace all parts of the journey. Do you have an idea of how many locs you have in total?
I just started my loc journey, but I feel you, I would say no to locs because I thought I wouldn't be able to style my hair. But I'm 4 weeks in and I am happy so far
You and your locs are gorgeous. I started mine at the end of 2012. Big chop to 3 inches or so. My husband suggested I combine them to my horror ... Didn't want to. I had to take his advice and have combined twice so far. I don't regret it. My locs are almost to my upper waist now. Peace and Blessings ❣️
I’m starting my loc journey this week! Also, I’m wearing this same dress you’re wearing but in green. That’s crazy!!! I’ll also document my experience too
This video was recommended to me because all my life I’ve heard I should loc my hair but like you said I look to do different things with my natural hair and is indecisive but I love loc’s and yours are so beautiful and thick, how much loc’s do you have?
Great video.... I just subscribed and I must say that your locs are amazing... You have one of the best sets that I have seen thus far... I can’t believe how long they are for 3 years.
I started with a lot of length. My hair was bra strap length. I started my locs for many reasons. One of them being while I was thinking about locing, my hair in the back would mingle when I did styles like two-strand twist. Thats when I knew for sure I would start my journey. Its almost as if I manifested my locs. Im a month in and surprisingly noticed budding in the back of my head already, because I have loose textured hair.My hair is now a little past shoulder length. I think my hair was ready to be locd before I was mentally ready 😭.
How did I find my loc crush ???? I’m inlove with your locs! They inspired me! I’m now 6 months in the game! I also started with two strand twist but luckily my budding started within the first few months. So I’m almost loc’d! So yes, and my shrinkage was ridiculous ‼️ I started with long locs as well. I can’t wait for them to get longer. I’m so excited with this journey
I’ve started my locs so many times since I was 14 because I was unsure if I wanted locs. I am 18 now and have comb coils/ 50 locs. I started my new journey March 18, 2020. #thicklocs💖
Startreea Denton I just restarted mine again today with 2 strand twist. This is my second time trying out the comb coil method, but the twists are here to stay! Lol. Today March 23, 2020 after seeing this video. 💖✨
ChloexHalleFan good luck on your journey love! When you’re all the way ready, mind, body, spirit, you’ll push through the toughest parts of your journey! You can do it!🙏🏾🧚🏽♀️💕✨

You've encouraged me to comb out my locs and try again! I love the way my thicker ones have formed but I had some really thin ones I made. I tried combining them by braiding them together but the ends have separated haha. Happy I found you and your locs are gorgeous! I also live in Richmond if you have a loctician recommendation! I did it myself the first time but I want someone to hook me up with the parting lol

I know your locs finally locked but your hair would have started to loc much faster if you washed them from jump.. water actually helps the locking process.. just think about it. When we washed our loose natural hair what happened? It got tangled and we had to comb it to get the naps out.. well locs we want our hair to tangle lol but anyways love your hair! Keep it up!

I absolutely love your hair...I started my loc journey 03-19 of this year. I only have 56 but the parts are as small as people with around 60-70. It's scary but, I trust them to come out amazing. It weirdly already looks like its been In for a while (I have 4b hair). I spray it with oil/water everyday; any tips😭
I love the size of your locs they are perfect I took mine out cuz they were too small and been trying to figure out what method to use. If I did two strand twist ima have to grow my hair a lot more 😩
Cap Carter mines less than 3 inches and I started mine 4 days ago by using gel and just twirling the parts of hair around my finger until they turned into little tiny twirls (with gel) and clipping them down to let them dry. Try that! I have extremely thick hair, I’m super excited for this thick loc journey!
Puckerup Buttercup Computer ah I’ll try that thank you. You should post a video and keep us updated on this journey. I really wanna do it on my own but worried about parting it correctly
Girl I always see you on Pinterest I was like I wonder do she have a TH-cam I love your locs lol im always looking at them

Love your hair! What do you retwist your hair with?
