Yes, this video is super late. Blame TH-cam. ALSO, HE'S STILL THE SECOND BIGGEST STREAMER ON TH-cam SO NOTHING REALLY MATTERS DOES IT
Since when has legality and morality become one? That’s basically all he’s saying, legally I’m innocent, but the second you place it on the morality scale, you know it’s gonna tip all the way down
When slander is Glorified enough to break an NDA im guessing-
@@vergillives9890 ?
What is it that you think you are defending right now?
Legality does form morality in a lot of ways. To me personally so when we use the doc here. if what he says is true i dont feel anything towards him whether much support or hate
@@TecTitan well a potential defamation lawsuit in the works for violating an NDA for damages-
I really want to know if there's anyone who has ever faked being inappropriate around minors in any capacity. Why would someone, especially someone as famous as doc, ruin their entire social image and income streams, to bait people on twitter or something? It just doesn't make sense
This is just him changing tact. At the end of the day it doesn't totally destroy his image. Any sufficiently large celeb can get away with just about anything if they aren't outright arrested and charged with a crime. Even then they can still get away with some things. Take R-kelly as an example. He he just kept doing his thing for about 20 years after we all knew about the 15 year old. Until he was arrested for manufacturing CP.
Some fans will eat up any excuse to keep watching, others will look past the crimes of the person behind the persona.
It's crazy how someone can admit to something, then come back and say it didn't happen and that twitch hates them, and everyone believes them. HE ADMITED IT, WHY IS THIS EVEN A DISCUSSION
@@PandaStyle07 because lot of people believe the “admitting it was part of my masterplan to see who would write about it like its a fact, even though it didn’t happen” gaslighting.
@@arpadszabo661 that just means those are choldren who will also fall prey to dr predrespect
Eh… i’m 100% sure anyone could look at all my private messages without me being brought to court for an inappropriate conversation with a minor. Like, bruh… it’s not hard to not talk to a kid inappropriately, if you’re mature enough. Sure, he’s famous, kids probably whispered him all the time, but even that can be handled professionally by just not being weird. Twitch would not have banned him for just a normal conversation with a minor. Something like “Hey doc, love your content” and “Hey, thanks for the support” and there would be nothing wrong with it morally either. Him not releasing the dm-s, even though he says its completely fine is just weird. At the very least, if that’s the case, he could say that he’s using that to sue Cody so he can’t show it right now, but he will once the court case is done or something. That would already make him look a hundred times better, but he’s not saying that… its weird.
Well court said there was no sexting.
@@ProkerKusaka well yeah when you look at the legal definition of sexting, which he keeps bringing up, it specifically mentions sending pictures and you can't send pictures through twitch whispers
Ngl, as long as don’t see the messages and don’t see him win a court case (again, win, not settle outside of court) against Cody, i’m going to think he did something much more wrong than what he’s saying. Maybe it wasn’t sexting, but i feel like if its not that big of a deal, he would just show the messages. He’d be allowed now, after Cody broke the silence and started bringing it up, regardless of settlement. The way he communicates is just so off, it feels like some $5 lawyer is writing this for him. If he’s actually right, then he’s making it so much harder for himself for no reason.
@@arpadszabo661 I think where the doc fucked up is saying that the individual in question is of age, but at the same time he won't release the messages to prove his innocents. If she was consenting and of age, there's nothing to hide. By using all this legal speak, he's obscuring a lot of what really happened. Imo he should have just said I don't have access or I legally can't. Instead of the cluster fuck of an excuse he gave.
The problem is if doc released the messages, they can't be used in court.
@vapegames7440 why would you believe that?
@jsnlgrrtt experience! Nearly lost my case against my ex. She accused me of beating her and my son and I posted the messages of her and the person she was "f"ing.
Judge ruled it inadmissible, I was lucky she was dumb and messaged her sister about the whole plan.
I think it's very telling Doc think the imagination route is safer than showing the dms
My response to his video is " logs or stfu" 😂
Deciding to retcon his public statement in which he ADMITTED guilt was certainly a choice.
Also very interesting how age of consent was not a factor 2months ago in his admission of guilt but now he uses it as a defence
This guy's doing more mental gymnastics than a Mushoku Tensei fan.
Man thinks he's Nikocado Avocado with his "I'm two steps ahead of you ants" bullshit attitude. Except this time (or at least I hope) people aren't actually falling for it.
his brain rot fan base would drink his piss if he told them it was water
The mental gymnastics on this guy lol
What's isane how how Doc admitted to it.
Naturally it's innocent until PROVEN guilty. The twitch staff member was nothing but an accusation, but by admitting to the situation he actively proved the accusation. It was idiotic and deserves whatever consequences follows.
Doc "I couldn't speak on this publicly cause of NDA but since other parties involved broke it. I can say everything"
Internet "So now you gonna talk in detail what the messages were?"
Doc "nuh uh"
His answer was just as bad "what are you twelve" can't make this up
@@Sean-MacGuire Hilarious not in his favor given the allegations
It's still wild to me how this guy proudly refers to himself as the "two time" after being caught cheating on his wife in the past
His self admitted greatest achievement happened before I was even born, I'm 21 now. He hasn't done anything he considers significant (otherwise he would say that instead of the two time) in over 22 YEARS.
This cartoon chick is based af
Hell yeah she is, six months ago when I started watching her she was just making it to 10k subs. Now she’s on her way to 100k subs. People wanna hear what she’s got to say!
I remember this stream, it was such a good stream. Dr diddler is a content emerald mine
While i do agree with everything you say, there is just one thing i would add. Cody went about this whole thing the worst way possible. The guy promised that if enough people buy tickets to his concerts, he would show all the dm-s of Doc there. The tickets sold, the messages were never released. Which at that point would’ve been the same as it is with Doc now, since he already broke the settlement. Hell,he or twitch could release the dm-s right now with no repercussions and end this whole situation by proving that they are right. Also, Doc brings up sexting and sexual pictures a lot, because Cody and other twitch employees did say that this was the exact reason for his ban. Which was proven false, regardless of there still being something else that’s inappropriate.
But once again, not saying this to try to make Doc look better, because his lawyer talk is just as bad, instead of just showing the dm-s, but Doc, Cody and twitch are all pretty shady about it.
Really piss me off he still acting with his persona.
Really not helping him or making the situation any better buddy.
so, what gets me is he said both parties must remain silent on the details, and that the reason he was allowed to address the details is because someone else leaked them, but then proceeds to call the leaks lies, which doesnt make sense.
Correct me if i am wrong, but what we are left with is either the leaks are true, which at this point seems the case, or, by his claim, the leaks are false, in which case he would have been the first one to talk about the real details, making him the one who broke the agreement.
He probably should have put some more thought into that bit.
Hes fumbled everything to everybody who doesnt glaze him religiously. Should've just stayed away in shame. He already made his millions nobody wants the predator back lol
apparently not hes the 2nd biggest streamer on yt
I think there are only two viable options for him at this point. The first one is just disappearing from the internet, putting down the whole being a public person thing and just living his life in peace, like for example Cryaotic did. The second option is coming clean, being completely honest and just owning that he was a major creep and did some shit that is far from okay. But apparently he's arrogant enough to attempt the third terrible option, just making shit up and hoping that he'll be able to gaslight everyone. Sorry, no one is buying it, you're not convincing, and it ain't close. It's not like he's a murderer or something, people would probably forgive and forget eventually, if he was just honest from the start.
Hes not really lieing the legality prevents him from doing that. This is literally just a do you care or nor care. He legally did nothing wrong. And he may be cooked morally but morality as they say is subjective.
Ok so it wasnt sexual/sexting(The legal definition she read included sexual non photographic/video messages idk how she missed that)......buuuuuut wtf were u doing messaging them. Its still not okay homie...shoulda left it at thanks for being a fan.
It's very important to break down the things people say, public figures, politicians, and other types to find the messages or omissions in their statements. It can say a lot how someone skirts around legal language to shift blame or change the conversation.
So, thank you for breaking down the "Legalese" here. I am no lawyer, my familiarity with the law is more fiscal in nature and its nice to learn more while also getting a better understanding of something.
congrats on 35k! i’ve been watching since you blew up and I’m glad to have been here for the ride so far:)
What a creep.
And he's in character doing it wtf
I feel like he’s trying to play some big brained game (like nick avocado) but he’s unfortunately even more dense than nick. It’s embarrassing. And he’s not very good at gaslighting and being narcissistic and I feel bad for the young boys (because honestly these are the only ones being impressed upon) who are falling for it
He must release the messages to be judged or sue everyone who is "defaming" him. Otherwise, he's assumed guilty.
He publically admitted to "inappropriate messages with a minor" which, considering his shock jock persona, I could easily see happening in innocence, but he has a bunch of people publically saying he was "sexting a minor" and that requires a proportional reaction if false.
Business as usual isn't a valid response considering the weight of the peoples reach and the weight of their accusations.
once again, my own question that has been repeated endlessly whenever i see this case.........Why is every big shots like him in social medias are all CREEPS!? getting exposed one after another here....its unnerving af
BRO USING THE ROYAL WE IS SO CRAZY
I honestly hate how scummy the people who actually blew the whistle on this all were because before he even made a statement I was mostly on his side since the people making the accusations seemed to be acting in majorly bad faith. And then the humanoid pimple decided to open his mouth.
Doc’s point about how twitch didn’t check if the age of consent was lower where the minor was sending the messages was entirely irrelevant. Twitch is based out of California and primarily operate out of California. So the laws governing their platform are California’s. Guess what? Age of consent is 18 in California.
It's pretty disgusting that's his excuse is age of consent
Hate the goverment then the age of consent is 16 in most states and the EU
That y did they lose and had to pay him :)))) lol
@@system3378 they didn't lose they settled threw litigation there's a difference
This dude doing the Andrew Tate defence. “The whole matrix after me bro. Trust me bro.” This dude lucky the father of this individual is not choking him out.
thx hex now i will know how to respond if i ever get into a tricky situation
As someone who is easily influenced ,I really appreciate this video and the breakdown of not only his words but also the way of speaking and actions.
Personal opinion: When you need to split this many legal hairs, what you did may be legal, but it's probably immoral. Dr. Despicable is trying to shift blame for being called out.
Can creeps stop using the age of consent as a crutch? The age of consent is to allow minors be "active" with each other and not get in trouble, not for adults to creep on them
How awesome would it be if Twitch just posted his messages on Twitter for everyone to see.
His defense be like: This 12 year old is legal in afghanistan, nothing illegal happened.
This was a very thorough breakdown and I really appreciated your perspective on this. It's helped me put into words why his response didn't sit right with me.
Should have known you can’t trust a guy with a moustache in 2024 around minors
Conduct unbecoming is all the platform needs.
now I’m missing the laugh intro😂
My wife’s mother has schizophrenia, and he sounds just like her. 😂
The way he is using "Over the legal age of consent" is very misleading. Legal age of consent DOES NOT obsolve someone from being a minor. The legal age of consent was created not for grown man or woman to date tenagers, it is upheld so the teenagers that engage in funky times with EACH OTHER won't break a law. If u have two 16 year olds - no law is broken. If ya have someone under 18 (in my country it is explicitely 18) AND someone over 18 then we have a criminal case in most places. The way he says it and tries to justify himself is very misleading, and poses a danger of creating mindset "if teenager is over age of consent they arent a minor anymore" which is hugely false.
"Erm ackshually the age of consent is lower where the minor lives compared to where i live, therefore I'm innocent checkmate cringe journos!"
This is why I don't trust people over 6 feet. They see so much up there... yet, so out of touch.
I'm still not drinking water. (Thanks for the video, and great breakdown over the specific wording he was using; more people need to be critical and analyze HOW people say things as much as what they say.) Liked and commented, yadda yadda yadda.
Oh wow didn't know he was back, time to lock in!
The biggest question overall that he avoids, how old? Another thing is how he phrases "what district the person was in" which sounds odd. I get the courts are set by "district" but if the person is from the states, why not say state cause that limits the term "minor" to 16 or 17.
Being found not guilty means nothing to me because Kero the Wolf is also legally innocent
It just means the parents and the minor didn't press charges hence his age of consent bs
And calling his fans champs doesnt age well lmfao
Exactly the court case was for him to be able to get money & making twitch sign a nda so they couldn't say why they banned him & so he can be like twitch banned me for no reason idk why I really hope everyone tht fights for him are children or something is wrong with them cause if not smh
"What are we, in second grade?"
What, was he DMing someone in second grade?
If I'm not mistaken, age of consent stops mattering if one person is under 18 and the other is over 18. It means two teenagers 16 or over, but both under 18 can bang... I think. So his age of consent point is... uhh... weird at best.
This might be weird but is it just me or is Hex's condensing baby voice, very entertaining.
DOC IS BACK!!!
SHOW THE MESSAGES
So what I'm getting from this is dr disrespect tried to pull a nikacado avocado but failed miserably
Of course he abided by the nda... usually if somebody is talking inappropriately with minors they don't want that known publicly. They came to a settlement for how they banned him... not why. He's still a weird pervert imo. He's not really any different than Kris Tyson from what I can tell based on his own statements and tweets
The point this shit was put out there was cause people should know shit like this. Not to mention he literally used the "trust me bro" as his proof 😂
The "legal age of consent" depending on where they were is 14-17 years old... hmm. Wild. Seems like he was talking like a weirdo with a child. Crazy. Like just cause he didn't go to jail doesn't mean he's not a creep/weirdo...
It's actually wild his response to releasing any proof was "what are we in 2nd grade"..... 😂
Then he starts trying to shift blame to other people being worse and still streaming on twitch... yet not a single name
I think the funniest thing here is just how he's talking
he's like some shitty anime revenge seeker that everyone dunks on because he acts edgy on a stupid level
This was a good dissection.
Wish he would just show the dms.
*ahem* “Why tf you lying, why you always lying why tf you lying why you always lying!”
The thing the "2 timer" doesn't realise that the possibility of Twitch being out to get him and him being a a big fucking creep both have an equal probability. OK so you have a toxic guy giving your platform a bad name, then all of a sudden there's proof he's acting inappropriate to minors giving Twitch the perfect opportunity to persecute him and look good doing it. Personally, if the "2 Timer" was to produce some evidence or even generally describe the content of what was said I'm willing to believe Twitch is capable of some underhanded shit. Because at the moment it just looks like Twitch capitalisingg on DrD's fuckedd up behavior. it the "Now I have a good reason to hate this personality I never liked" meme in action.
Because innapropriate can mean a lot of things, he could been saying slurish shit like making black jokes or jew jokes, that would be inappropriate. But when you are inappropriate with minors you only think it was sexual shit, he needs to clarify what the texts were more in depth.
The bigger the ego, the greater the fall. Go ahead and keep acting all high and mighty, Dr. Disrespect. It'll make the disintegration of your online career all the more entertaining and rapid in the end.
I forgot people admitted to not using wash cloths
I have never expected good behavior from entertainers of all people. So this influencer/cancel culture is so backwards to me.
Just cause something isn't illegal doesn't make it moral. Aka ok to do and get 0 criticism for it.
Lots of shit should be illegal or at minimum have monitoring and guidelines but the gov. and courts are so ungodly outdated and slow on the road that none of it has been touched for decades.
If you did something sketchy in a chat with what has so far been said by multiple parties to be a minor then the corpo that you're using has all the rights to ban you as they want regardless. It just needs to be morally questionable and that's enough to probably get you a ban, at all. So don't do bordeline sketchy crap with followers or whatever in a chat and you have less to worry about.
Clearly the Doc didn't do that. And he's a cheater so he's still a dirtbag regardless.
I'm not sure what the doc is talking about imo. If you just look up where the doc lives, it's california. The age of consent is 18. If he still lives there, that's hella sus bro 😂. All he's conforming is that the individual in question is either 16 or 17 (which is still illegal in cali). A lot of the leg work the doc is getting is because we don't know what exactly the messages are. They could be nothing because he wasn't legally charged by authorities or the messages were bad, just not enough to reach sexting. Either way, the doc shouldn't have done it period especially in a state where the consent laws are 18.
Yeah like it wasnt sexual so he's clear as far as the law is concerned but morally it's uhh questionable at best and we won't know how bad till we get the logs.
@@MannyMulattoPlays pretty much
I have a real hard time why he even entertained any kind of conversation with a minor. I’m 31 right now, the only minor i’m talking to on facebook is my niece. Also this “anyone can look bad if you take their messages out of context”… not really. Some people would probably say i tell a lot of stupid jokes, but they for sure wouldn’t catch me doing that with a minor.
Awesome breakdown! While I went in knowing he's going to be full of it, it was great hearing a precise breakdown as to why.
And is he going to address cheating on his wife with the transgender community then bashing the trans community
Does Doc call himself the a Two-timer because he keeps two timing his wife?
Him calling himself the 2time is annoying thats shit happen 30 years ago lol
What happened? Tell me he got like a double kill in a game or something lol.
Took on a whole other meaning after he cheated on his wife, huh
That two time bs is made up he never won any blockbuster game event look it up it's just a gimmick
I'm on neither side. When the evidence comes to light and shows he is guilty then he is guilty. If it proves he is innocent then he is innocent. I don't watch him either way
He's probably suing that Cody guy hence why he wouldn't be a loud to release the logs. We are most likely going to be waiting years for logs.
Whether Cody works or worked their he still signed an NDA. I am not taking sides but rules are rules furthermore being that he broke the rules gave Doc the right to make a statement even after the situation was handled even if Cody never came out made this statement Doc would still be able to reapply for partnership which he can do on the 25th and if it is granted then I guess all of the allegations were wrong. As far as bans getting overturned it depends on the situation for instance Nick Mercs was suspended for disrespecting the Transgender community which he did not know that the term was considered hate speech. However in this case they had to investigate and see what was said between Doc and the Twitch user and the fact that Twitch admitted internally that nothing wrong happened they didn't want to look stupid and lift his ban, if none of these events happened he would still be allowed to reapply for his partnership and i am sure the reason why they let it stew for this long because if they would have lifted the ban instantly the community would still have something to say about. Like i said i am not taking sides but if certain events didn't happen none of this would be going on and even when Cody came forward if Doc didn't say anything people would still have questions. Now Cody is going to be sued for defamation.
Also I will be real honest... Twitch ban anyone regardless if you make them money. Destiny got banned too just because his political view is different. Yes the KEY point you forgot is political...
But that doesn't mean its the only reason for being ban.
Just saying you Hex you shouldn't uses "Biggest money source" as reason to not ban. Twitch can just do it anyway~
That's why people are saying the Twitch rule is so unofficial... Nothing is real in their rule books even if you are their best streamers. Just do the following you will get ban
1) Arguing with the moderator lol
2) Being a political opponent? They will shut you down! They don't want a "No" man on their platform.
3) Unspoken rule...
4) Also being hot anime girls or man... They like to ban them...
But how to not get banned?
1) Somehow being a bathtub streamer...
2) Agree to anything they say
Also, they will NOT fix the ban at time. Destiny is still banned to this day because he challenges them politically.
HexJuice you will be safe since you are not a political person but Dr Disrespect is quite a heavy one...
You can look at his old clips. There's quite a lot of wild political claim by him lol
I don't agree with him but man lol
48:57 I was willing to play a bit of devil's advocate on some parts, until the ending bit. I could have believed he didn't have access to the logs, or that the courts were blocking him. However, based on his snide "show the messages" bit, any benefit of the doubt I was possibly willing to grant instantly vanished.
I had seen the main video before, but not that clip at the end. Pretty much inexcusable.
Also I think you also shouldn't make Dr Disrespect leaks and break the NDA... In the case of being sued he would 100% get punished by this... You already know why too.
1) Cody is "ex" employee. Its not Twitch now... So he still can't leak everything...
2) Dr Disrespect need to fix this by suing Twitch again before leaking.
If not he will be the one being wrong...
Honestly Cody is the one who should be sued for all this
This same problem goes with Twitch too. They are also in the same NDA.
They must first hold a meeting with Dr Disrespect on how to handle this. Its law thing and its complicated...
I'm pretty sure whistle blower laws protects Cody
@@Sean-MacGuire Yes but the problem is if it has been shown that both Twitch and Doc have agree to close this? The third party just kinda destroying it. Also it may not be the case if this harm Twitch...
LegalMindset have said a lot of time if the corporate want to sue they can just drag it till they win.
Could Cody win? Nah...
That's why I said the way he's doing is just going to end with him losing. He makes 2 enemy with the reveal.
Doc could lose due to Whistle Blower law but against Twitch? Nah...
@@Sean-MacGuire If what Doc said its true Twitch had more to hide than him. It could risk Amezon dropping Twitch out too. Nobody wants in Twitch that lol
Jeff Bazo is known for cutting any loose end too. He literally cut most of his employees for just 1 second mistake too.
Would this escape his eye? Nope...
This is why I said Twitch had way more to lose.
I don't know why Cody is doing this at all... The best Doc will get is cancellation but Twitch losing Amazon's trust is huge...
His followers don't care😢
IVE SOLD THE CASE HE OFFERED CRACK TO A 16 YEAR OLD
Say if you want someone really funny to react to I would suggest Lythero I would suggest his Dragon Ball Fighterz loabby shenanigans series and raid boss series.
I never really watched a lot of live streamers Ame and Doc were pretty much all I watched and now I got nothin lol
Do you identify as cartoon or anime?
You have to look at the facts. 1. There was a contract. 2. There was an NDA. 3. There was an investigation. 4. Doc was cleared of ALL wrongdoing by the investigation because no legal repercussions ever happened. 5. Twitch was forced to pay out because they were in the wrong. 6. Twitch broke the NDA. 7. Doc is an asshole.
I'm sorry, Hex, but its kinda clear this time you just don't like Doc. And that's fine, but if you look at the situation objectively, Twitch has been wrong and DID victimize Doc every step of the way.
you’re right. i don’t like old men who are inappropriate (admittedly) with minors and are banned for that behavior.
also, i’m pretty sure the settlement was due to Twitch breaking their contract with him, not due to wrongdoing regarding the ban.
Nobody forced twitch to pay it was settled in litigation it didn't even get to a court room a judge wasn't involved it didn't go to trial it was settled by both parties in a room by attorneys arguing then settled hence the both parties don't admit to wrongdoings
8:04 settlement mean both sides are agree that theres a wrong doing in their part and so they made an agreement to end the case. Theres no side winning or losing ,its like Draw.
Well. The cops, a judge, the ncme and Twitch cleared him of any wrong doing and no solicitation or intent etc. Plus Twitch paid out, which is HUGE. Means he didn't break the law nor ToS. So he may be an ass for talking to a person, who was above the legal age of consent, out side of his marriage. But, Cody's allegations, were already dismissed. However this all happened in 2017 etc. It is clear his wife forgave him, if anything did occur. In the grand scheme of things this really is a nothing burger. Considering who youtube, and twitch, continue to platform who have done actual harm and wrong lol.
Settlements are not decisions of guilt. Being above the age of consent still makes you a minor. Please try better than the "well...um, this platform has it even worse!" You can hold multiple people accountable
I'm pretty sure the settlement was regarding Twitch breaking their contract with DrDisrespect, not about WHY he was banned...
I really like your content but why does your vtuber model look like Creepshow Art 😅🫣
