Still, I think that this video was not made with the intention of him shitting on Asmon out of spite or hatred.
Yeah this dude who made the video about Asmon is pretty mean-spirited. Along with his whole southern boy, guns and redpilled schtick I get the feeling that he is looking to put others down so he can feel more in control of his own life, which is a terrible mentality. I get that people think its coming from autism, and while it certainly happens that autistic people might come across as rude without meaning to, many would still feel remorseful about their rudeness after realizing it, and would probably not keep a video like this up. Many autists have been through similar issues with executive functioning and basically living day to day trying to manage their lives and would understand how awful it is to make fun of someone else in a similar situation.
Asmongold is proof any loser can become successful. Millionaire with multiple attractive ex-girlfriends. If Hex doesn't like the video she should create that video of how he "is now".
This is just a cope to make himself feel better about his loser lifestyle, chill. It's just poorly worded. No, every person can't become rich and won't.
TBF tho Oompa does come off rude here but he did say its a deep dive to Zack's origin, not how he grows. It's mentioned a few times in the video, but most of the video talk about his past history that's already quite outdated. He does realize that it does come off like a hit piece instead of a deep dive. He should probably approaches this in a different spectrum, but yeah the video does kind of giving a bad feels overall. Glad he specify it in the comment tho, since a lot of people in his commentary started commenting on Zack' as if its a hit piece video. Like, I understand how people would feel weird, or if I'm to say in the worst possible way, disgusted by how Zack's live his life, and then going as far as commenting rudely (or straight up hateful), going off on attacking his personality that Zack' himself show in the internet as if they know him personally, to me it just felt like an unnecessary comments to give. When I watched this live on Zack's stream, it doesn't come off as a hit piece due to how Zack usually react to most stuff (and as someone who have been watching him for quite a while since 2020 and even before that in his original twitch channel), I'm mostly quite chill when someone start coming off at Zack with hostility since that's one of his main content, its a method he used to farm others. So I was having fun when Zack reacted to this video, since all I care about when watching his stream is listening to his take and just nod, it doesn't matter since it won't change my opinion. I just want to listen to him. Sometimes I agree, some other times I disagree. But I wouldn't go as far as to say he's wrong or whatever since listening to different opinion is fun. Its all about discovering that there's different take in opinion about a subject. But after going to Oompa's comment section, yikes, its quite bad how the video came off to his audience since it definitely didn't convey what he wanted to talk about at all. Oompa keep saying he's a legend and he respect him but it just doesn't come off like that to his audience, and you know its bad when he had to make a comment on his own video and pinned it so the comment wasn't all talking badly about Zack. Was hoping the video would be different too, but yeah, its just another video that talk about his past that everyone already know wasn't good, which, in return cause more harm than not to his own audience's opinion on Zack.
I agree that this felt more like a hit piece than a deep dive or an iceberg. Making a snide comment and then saying "what a legend" after is like saying "no offence, but" and then following it up with an offensive comment. It's still rude. I think Zack took this vodeo in stride because at the end of the day, it was content. And in his own words, "content is king." Zack recently had a video where he mentioned his health not being great, and a recent hospital trip he had. He mentioned making some lifestyle changes (including diet and his living space) in order to take better care of himself. He once (somewhat famously) said "No mere mortal could live with Asmongold." It turns out that Zack himself was no exception to this in the long run. I just hope the raccoons find a nice place if they get evicted.
Who was oompaville's target audience with this video? I'm pretty sure that anyone who knows about Asmon already knew the gist of his living situation and living habits, so this seems to be an introduction to AsmonGold as a person for people who don't know about him already. But it's hardly a flattering introduction. There was nothing about what influences Asmon as a person, how he came to believe the things he does, what he does off-stream, or how he knows about stuff like the 12 Labors of Hercules. It was just 40 minutes of "damn girl, you live like this?" Asmon is such a genuinely great dude, and oompaville didn't show much of Asmon's personality. What a missed opportunity.
@@ThisisCitrus I don't feel strongly at all. It was a deep dive into one aspect of Asmon, and one that wasn't particularly interesting to someone who already knew about it. But again, I guess I wasn't the target audience. It seems like you were though.
@@JewJitSuSixty9 If you don't think there is any way to be flattering of asmongold, you don't know much about asmongold. There are a lot of people who watch asmongold and they don't watch him because his house is gross. They watch asmongold because of his character, and the oompaville video make it seem like asmongold's main character trait is that he's disgusting. If oompaville was trying to reach the widest audience possible, then the 885K views show that he did a good job of that. But so what? He was using clickbait, leaning hard into 'this guy is disgusting,' and didn't touch on any aspect of asmongold that was interesting to someone who knew about asmongold already. Just because a video has a lot of views, doesn't make the video good. That's why I wondered who the video was for. It wasn't interesting to someone who knew asmongold already so it probably wasn't made with them in mind. I wonder who else would find this superficial introduction to asmongold interesting? Probably people who don't know anything about asmongold. (Like you.)

dont know how anything oompaville said came across as mean/hateful maybe if ur a 12 year old but calling out a unhealthy lifestyle and making fun of things that are not normal is ok tbh. he directly calls asmon disgusting multiple times lol, one around 47:00. you can disagree, it felt mean to me, and also to enough people that he had a pinned comment addressing it. 🤷🏼♀️
@hexjuice aight can't argue with ur own opinion if u think it was mean then it was mean for you. People can have different opinions. I'm not trying to come off as petty i like ur content.
Personally it came across as very mean spirited but that's not the main reason why I dislike the video. My problem is that oompa repeated the same commentary over and over and over and over and over again and I ended up learning absolutely nothing new or interesting about Asmon that I didn't know already know, and by the time he's done talking about asmon's lifestyle the video is over. Like "LOOK AT HIS DISGUSTING ROOM AND HIS FILTH" is funny for the first one or two time but absolutely not the 10th or 20th time in the same video, it gets old for me.
I am by no means an Asmongold fan and stopped watching his stuff some time ago because he felt kinda lgbt hostile, but what the hell was the point of Oompa's video? Okay, Asmon lives in a disgusting place and doesn't take care of his health, and? He's just exposing stuff asmon has said himself? I don't get it. What was this for. Anyways, love you Hex!
Asmon’s not lgbt hostile, he’s idiot hostile (and so people don’t misconstrue my words, it means he doesn’t care if you’re lgbt, he’ll dunk you for an idiot opinion tho). And point of the video is because it’s funny to put a spotlight on his degeneracy
Sorry, english isn’t my first language so i’m struggling to catch the typo xD I should also clarify that what I meant by kinda hostile towards the lgbt community were some passing comments which rubbed me the wrong way, but honestly I don’t remember what they were. What I do remember though is him constantly saying "that’s so gay!" when something sucks, and his go-to insult being "dicksuckers". So yeah maybe I’m too soft and hostile is too strong a word, but I just wanted to add.
Nope, it’s simply Oompa’s style of video. He takes the negative parts of his autism and makes profit off of it. In every video he uses insane insults and has a lot of harsh takes. He most definitely doesn’t have an ungodly amount of hate for a guy he’s never met, it’s simply just how he acts in every video.
Asmon reacted to this video and he was really cool about it, I understand that you had mixed feelings about this video, it happened to me too but when I watched asmon's video the mixed feelings went away.
Asmongold made the dirty house apart of his life and stuff so if it was any other streamer, you wouldn't be this empathetic like if Hasan had the same house you would dog on him HARD
I had no idea oompaville made a vid about asmongolod. And honestly i do agree with your overall point about oompaville being a bit rude and such about this.
this was a video made to farm Asmongold haters because his living conditions are all they talk about. This video has nothing about his meteoric rise as a content creator, the way he helped other content creators multiple times, all the successful companies he owns, how brutally honest he is about speaking the truth. how well articulated most of his takes are (whether you agree with them or not you have to admit that he has a good way of explaining what his thought process is.) I honestly dont believe Oompa when he says hes an Asmongold fan and this was not a deep dive in the slightest.

He's not expressing himself carefully, intentionally so, as that is just how his content is, which is fair to criticize him for.
I’ll fix it for you:
“Any loser with intelligence and a good sense of humor can become successful”
This is just a cope to make himself feel better about his loser lifestyle, chill. It's just poorly worded. No, every person can't become rich and won't.
Why does Oompaville look like Temu IDubbz?
Baldfather lol thats a good one. I didnt like his content much either but he grew on me.
Sage Wizard.
Yeah, this came across as really mean spirited.
Damn this kinda aged like milk because of recent stuff huh
I agree that this felt more like a hit piece than a deep dive or an iceberg. Making a snide comment and then saying "what a legend" after is like saying "no offence, but" and then following it up with an offensive comment. It's still rude. I think Zack took this vodeo in stride because at the end of the day, it was content. And in his own words, "content is king."
Zack recently had a video where he mentioned his health not being great, and a recent hospital trip he had.
Asmon is the only mf I know that can live his life like a rodent and come out as a wise CC OG with once of the biggest followings on the internet
5:41 he ment hate speach. Laughing at a Nazi thing. 45:45 no. He needs to grown up
Who was oompaville's target audience with this video?
I'm pretty sure that anyone who knows about Asmon already knew the gist of his living situation and living habits, so this seems to be an introduction to AsmonGold as a person for people who don't know about him already. But it's hardly a flattering introduction. There was nothing about what influences Asmon as a person, how he came to believe the things he does, what he does off-stream, or how he knows about stuff like the 12 Labors of Hercules. It was just 40 minutes of "damn girl, you live like this?"
Asmon is such a genuinely great dude, and oompaville didn't show much of Asmon's personality. What a missed opportunity.
@@ThisisCitrus I don't feel strongly at all. It was a deep dive into one aspect of Asmon, and one that wasn't particularly interesting to someone who already knew about it. But again, I guess I wasn't the target audience.
It seems like you were though.
The target audience was the 885K people who watched it. And asmon isn't a flattering person, so how can there be a flattering introduction
(Like you.)
@HexJuice Did You miss the part where he (as in Oompaville) Has Autism?
Autism is not an excuse to be an asshole.
@@zaphod8810 Asmond himself was okay with the jokes. You’re not the victim.
And his autism %100 contributes to his attitude. He has stated in previous videos he isn’t very nice because he lacks empathy and social awareness because of his autism, which is a very common and very real thing amongst several people with autism.
@@lixidle_ so autism is an excuse to be an asshole?
He doesn't have a Sub button on his Twitch...so I don't think he's partnered....unless you can be with out the sub button showing up? Not sure.
HJ cares so much about him, the politeness when basically telling him what he should do is really thoughtful
dont know how anything oompaville said came across as mean/hateful maybe if ur a 12 year old but calling out a unhealthy lifestyle and making fun of things that are not normal is ok tbh. Asmon lives a unhealthy lifestyle and even tho he aknowledges it he downplays it most of the time wich will do him no good in the long run.
“you’re a weird freak. i think you’re disgusting and gross and foul and should studied for what a freak you are. i find you completely disgusting.
haha nothing rude. :)”
imma be real, this only comes off as good natured if u have a humiliation kink lmfao
@hexjuice he never said he was a freak he never said Asmon himself is disgusting. He called out his lifestyle wich is disgusting and freak like. Like cmon Hex who thinks it's normal to have rats, raccoons and roaches in the house and smears blood on the wall. In a normal society this is what we call a freak and disgusting it's just the way it is. And if you have watched oompaville for a while you know he throws out shots without meaning it.
he directly calls asmon disgusting multiple times lol, one around 47:00. you can disagree, it felt mean to me, and also to enough people that he had a pinned comment addressing it.
The heck even is LGBT hostile?
i’m guessing a typo
Asmon’s not lgbt hostile, he’s idiot hostile (and so people don’t misconstrue my words, it means he doesn’t care if you’re lgbt, he’ll dunk you for an idiot opinion tho).
And point of the video is because it’s funny to put a spotlight on his degeneracy
Sorry, english isn’t my first language so i’m struggling to catch the typo xD
I should also clarify that what I meant by kinda hostile towards the lgbt community were some passing comments which rubbed me the wrong way, but honestly I don’t remember what they were. What I do remember though is him constantly saying "that’s so gay!" when something sucks, and his go-to insult being "dicksuckers". So yeah maybe I’m too soft and hostile is too strong a word, but I just wanted to add.
yes, famously, only men suck dick 😅
The roach king is forever 🪳
Seems like this dude hates the fuck out of Zack but wants to pretend he doesn't. This vid is farming hate and thats about it
Nope, it’s simply Oompa’s style of video. He takes the negative parts of his autism and makes profit off of it. In every video he uses insane insults and has a lot of harsh takes. He most definitely doesn’t have an ungodly amount of hate for a guy he’s never met, it’s simply just how he acts in every video.
Asmon is an internet Pioneer. Bro will be streaming from his deathbed. Bet.
why would you go down this rabbit hole? It’s dirty and needs to clean its room
you know , Gacha player are also display hoarder behavior lol .
Everyone hate brown hair
Asmon reacted to this video and he was really cool about it, I understand that you had mixed feelings about this video, it happened to me too but when I watched asmon's video the mixed feelings went away.
Asmongold made the dirty house apart of his life and stuff so if it was any other streamer, you wouldn't be this empathetic like if Hasan had the same house you would dog on him HARD
maybe you would. me? almost certainly not. lol
Overly empathetic imo. Not like he was called a racist, homophobe, or bigot like he usually is on Twitter lol
HUH
@@hexjuice sorry I think my comment came off wrong. Asmon interprets his lifestyle as not good that people shouldn’t replicate and he even tends to joke about it a lot. Usually when that gets brought up on Twitter for some reason it delves into him being those 3 things out of nowhere because of a clip. I’m just saying at least oompa isn’t saying stuff like that.
ah ok so an entirely erroneous statement
I think Asmongold suffers from hyperfocus. It explains a lot of his problems in all honesty.
oompaville is a bully, no surprise why he said he has no friends growing up
Calling someone a bully and then immediately bullying is crazy. Grow up.
I completely agree with you,it did feel very mean spirited and disrespectful, anyways good vid from you 👍.
