hey I have a question, I know you tried to stay within the law so I gotta ask, was cleaning all her stuff out of the room after she got arrested fully legal? knowing the dumb laws that protected her before, idk how they'd apply to her posessions
Grandpa in his recliner chair, “back in my day her body would be found in the river and no one would be gon lookin for er”. Us “no grandpa that’s not legal”. Grandpa “hehe yea boy”.
Exactly I have never been violent, but I genuinely don't know how I would react if someone was in a home I worked my ass off to buy for free and just trashing the place while acting entitled as if they own it. Especially with how much houses costs these days. I think if someone squatted in my home they would go missing and never be seen or heard from again overnight... maybe moved to a different town under a different name or something.. don't mind the lump in the garden.
Ok 2 things also : look up for that guy who squats out squatters via the legal method, by legally becoming the tenant of the place with an actual lease, with Notary admission and witness. And, if you gonna rent out via ABNB you better do your due diligence - your tenancy agreement should already name someone family and you know - you call them in and they will come and chuck them out. The reason is the same as above, a preexisting tenancy agreement and legal notice as well as witnessed will out-legalize whatever squatter rights
This would honestly be a good strategy for getting streaming content. Find a squatter, contact the landlord to get a lease, make content until they leave, find the next one, repeat. Infinite content until the laws are fixed.
I saw a video where a guy was offering his services to annoy squatters for a month or two like this guy is doing. Honestly I don't understand how it's possible to get in this situation with squatters, where I live you have to register as a tenant with the city using an official form, signed by the owner. And this woman is a serial squatter, doing this for 30+ years 😕
@@aethertoast4320 The government will try to drown you in bureaucracy whatever you do and fuck you over at the first sign of some form number 106549539tvdjd missing... UNLESS you are a squatter for whatever reason.
airbnb's founders should have anticipated this kind of scenario. they're trying to curb it a bit now, but its clear that they dont wanna spend extra money to ensure airbnb users dont overstay...it is what it is
What's truly terrifying about this is I have a very similar situation going on right now. Been in the legal process for weeks. I really hope this is extremely rare. Also, I'm wondering if Andy is available for hire.
I just learn that CA landowners cannot turn utilities off, even if tenant refuse to pay, unless they get a court order. In Texas, landowners can turn off utilities if tenant doesn't pay.
To be fair Squatter's rights is slang. There's not actually any such named law. It refers to a sort of vague side element of a REAL law that actually protects a lot of legitimate situations in which homeowners might otherwise abuse renters, but which folks like this woman utilize maliciously... IMO the law DOES need a lot of revision... as this woman makes crystal clear, but it'd be a shame if it was just shelved entirely... nevertheless I find no reason whatsoever that 'renting' air B&B should in any way result in protection under this law.
The part 4 on andy's channel is just 1% of SJC's power level watch the full 6 hours on Scuffed justin carrey channel and all the things he said there is insane 😂
*sigh* unfortunately, die to an old archaic law that allowed people during the western gold rush colonization, yes, squatters have rights to take over a home, key difference though is back in the past the home owner had to be either unalived through unfortunate happenstance like a war or native Americans taking back there territory. However nowadays since around the end of the 1980's those laws were modiffied, to allow legal squatting when the owner doesn't come back at a set period of time (like 2 weeks or something similar) and take over the house. I don't k ow the full particulars of ot all, bit basically, California has legalized squatting and rights to go along with it.
If you have zero shame and self-respect, yeah. As I understand it, the homeowner can generally get you kicked out eventually through the court process, but while they're waiting months for that to happen, you get to stay there and the owner still has to pay for all utilities etc.
@@ababcb3005 probably, fight for 2 months+ in court, live for free in that house for the whole court durations, get evicted by court order, then squatting a new place, repeat.

Squatter's rights is apparently just one of those really old laws that make no sense today because back when they were written, bros and dudes were cowboys in the wild west popping each other with 6-shooters all day, and then they stumble upon abandoned cabins/homes in the winter. The law was basically in place so people could stay in other people's property for shelter in situations where going back outside might kill you before you get to the next tumble-weed town that ain't big enough for both of them. Why has it not been abolished, you ask? Simply because it wasn't a problem until "recently". So nobody has had a reason to get rid of it... YET. It's causing a huge waste of resources and man hours. The disputes cannot be resolved by services such as the police, because they're not allowed to take the squatter unless they commit a crime. But nothing prevents a private person from making things uncomfortable, thankfully.
So my head theory is that she thought she was gonna last them out, like after a while they just will run out of money and have to go without realizing that they make money off of her as content because she’s been around so long. I don’t think she understands streaming and generating income from the amount of viewers he gaining or the content posted
I kept seeing comments like just change the locks when she’s out or barricade the door but she could possibly sue or find something to use against the owner
I like to think that the moment they decided to kick the torture of this insipid “thing” (refuse to call her a woman because that would mean admitting she’s human) into overdrive was the moment she got the other, totally uninvolved, nice dude involved _and_ injured him badly enough to need a brace. Asian Andy seems like that kinda guy. Squatters have specific legal protections under the law. They cannot be forcibly removed from a property without prior notice. Bullshit like these squatters is one of the main reasons I like my home state, in my home state the squatter rights state that if they cannot provide proof of living on the premises for 7 yrs or more they automatically get kicked to the curb smts with a small fine so as long as you catch em before 7 yrs they can be removed by the police, and that is why I moved back to my home state after my mum moved us outta there some odd yrs ago. I wish all the states had these rules for squatters or hell maybe better rules and consequences cuz yea in my home state they can be removed before 7 yrs but they basically just get a toddler level slap on the wrist, escorted off the property and told not to go on it again. So better than quite a few states but ultimately doesn't help much cuz the squatters just go to a new random house and try again.

Pretty common in Florida for squatting from what i hear. Squatter rights are from the 1600 s and laws have never been updated which is some BS.
