As of two months ago, after being a fan of the series for 18 years, Itachi surpassed Naruto as my second favorite character (was in a discussion with someone downplaying Itachi and while previously being neutral, I ended up being on Itachi's side and liked him the more the conversation went on because I was skimming through the manga for the first time in a while and noticing things I hadn't before which gave me a better perspective).
To me, Itachi was the most tragic character of the entire story. I remember when I was younger, I bought the volumes of Sasuke Vs Itachi and then later down the road watched the entire side story during the infinite tsukuyomi with no idea how crazy his back story was since I hadn’t heard of Itachis story novel at the time. I went from yeah Sasuke it’s finally time to avenge your parents” to “Danzo is the worst character in all of fiction”. Itachi was the closest thing to a hokage in that whole clan. It makes me so mad whenever I see people on social media make all these memes about how Itachi is only just a clan killer and they don’t take into account of what exactly he was forced in by the elders and Danzo. I was crying when I first saw the episode of Itachi having to kill Izumi.
Honeslty I can understand why they think itachi had a choice to kill his clan because donzo literally gave itachi a choice but the choice wasn’t that good he was like “okey you can either die with ur clan along with ur brother or you can kill them first and save urself and sasuke so will you complete this mission” and itachi could’ve said no but itachi saw that as a threat that donzo would kill his brother and honestly itachi is stronger than sasuke so he could’ve just killed donzo and none of that would’ve happened but if he did he would be considered as a rogue ninja still because nobody knew the truth about donzo sometimes I wish itachi would’ve told the hokage the offer donzo made to him and see what he said to do but itachi did go up to the hokage and say “mission completed” so iont know if the hokage already knew but he said he was disappointed in the choice he made and that’s when lord 3rd sent him to spy on the akatsuki so I’m confused honestly I feel like all of that could’ve been avoided if he would’ve killed donzo and told the truth to the hokage about why he did it (that he threatened his brother and him and killed his bestfriend) then itachi wouldn’t be labeled as a traitor to the village nor would he have been rogue
I think i knew 6 or 7 of these but when you get a chance, could you consider a video about what it means to be a hokage? What it means to run a village and to be a shinobi? Not from sasukes perspective, but like from hokage notes and objectively in a sense.

Boruto and Mitsuki from the beginning were S-rank in my opinion, with Sarada at least being Hokage level power wise. (The only thing holding them back was their immaturity-the story at the moment is pushing them to god-level)

Some of the videos you guys are seeing we saw preview back in January or a couple months ago. He usually has about 5-8 previews each month. If shisui was poisoned before he fought danzo and lost one eye wouldn't that make him stronger than we originally thought because he still took on the anbu and danzo with not only one eye but also nerfed further through poison that should have killed him.
shisui was stronger than Itachi until the day Itachi awakened the mangekyou and even afterwards, itachi in the story of midnight states that he thinks shisui could have still physically defeated him if he was alive and knew about his mission to massacre the clan.
Could you make a video on how Sasuke could be taken out of the story without dying? I could see Boruto and Sasuke having different views on how to deal with the Kawaki situation or Sasuke wanting to sacrifice himself against an enemy just for Boruto to overrule his Master and seal Sasuke in another dimension as Kawaki did with Naruto to create a sense of duality between Boruto and Kawaki. Another Idea is to have to freeze Sasuke due to a severe injury or have him in a coma of sorts. I prefer the first opinion what do you think?
Itachi was technically the first Shadow Hokage of the village. I love his character and what he did for his lover, women, and children was so sweet. He is a great guy.

a lot of people get the same things wrong: Itachi didn't have a 'girlfriend'. He knew that she loved him and she was certainly someone who was very important to him he didn't love her this way. That doesn't necessarily mean he never would have if he'd had an ordinary life, but he didn't, because he actively stopped himself from considering anything of the sort. He understood that she loved him, and yes all he longed for was peace and perhaps if that peace had existed he might have fallen for her, but it didn't and he didn't. He thought solely of his self given mission to create peace by whatever means necessary. He trained incessantly to the point of exhaustion most days so that some day he would be the strongest shinobi, strong enough that eventually he would be so strong that it would deter and thought of war against Konoha. Well, i think it depends on interpretation on how you see them, the author has deliberately made the interpretation open, so everyone can make their opinion about it. I think their releationship was not much developed and bit rushed, which gives us not much of a glimbse how their releationship could have worked out, if there were more moments between them. All of their 4 scenes together involve some kind of awkwardness and itachi always (trying) stopped himself from getting too close to izumi from loving her and is in constant denial in which he firstly states he doesn't have much of a opinion on her, then he says maybe she is somewhat kind of different from others, then says she is only a friend and again he says then he doesn't know how to feel about her. Its really confusing for people and it constantly shifts from this point to another and thats why you csn't exactly tell what itachi feels about her. (In the anime it seems more believable even if the novel has that heartbreaking tsukuyomi scene, the creators kept itachis and izumis releationship more nice and simple). I still personally like to think that he loves her, but only at the very end when the massacre happends, he did realized it, but far too late. But hey this is just my opinion.

Everyone says itachi was just handed hax when really his understanding of the world around him and desire for resolve was what got him all that. What characters are reading about the hokage, fighting at 4 in a war and taking painful drugs that feel like death but having enough will power to do it just to see his goals through?
Itachi is undoubtedly the biggest prodigy that Konoha ever had. Imagine what he could've achieved he wasn't forced to wipe out his clan and leave the village. Imagine how strong he could've become had he not gotten sick. Legendary character

Itachi had the fasted time in the Forest of Death, didn't need to cheat on his writen test. Became Anbu at 10 years-old, shortly after becoming Anbu Captain. He was 13 when I killed over 200 Male Uchiha. Joined the Akatsuki at 14 and was the strongest member besides Pain. Only thing Obito had over Itachi was Great Fireball Jutsu and maybe a better MS ability.

If obito remained good, he would have became hokage with ease with kakashi as his shadow hokage. Other characters like kakashi, orochimaru and sasuke are better than Obito, jiraiya and naruto as kids, but when they grew up its not even a contest.

The entire fandom fell for Tobi's lie. Based on the manga (not taking the novels seriously unless they get a manga validating them like Sasuke Retsuden and the Mirai story) Itachi never had an illness. It was fake news to sway Sasuke over. Itachi never said he had one & his only supposed symptom was coughing up blood. Which Sasuke also did during the Danzo fight (chapter 479, page 1 & 11). It comes from overusing Susano. Sasuke mentioned it hurting on a cellular level despite not achieving it's "complete" form yet. Wondering how bad it was for Itachi who did (c466, p5).

Itachi knew. Obito wore the mask. Tenma died as a konoha shinobi and itachi had to work undercover to spy on Akatsuki. He couldn't go at obito directly for something that happened years ago, because the threat obito and Akatsuki posed was bigger than tenma life

Obito was outclassed by Kakashi. He awakened his MS after the age of Itachi. Itachi had the fasted time in the Forest of Death, didn't need to cheat on his writen test. Became Anbu at 10 years-old, shortly after becoming Anbu Captain. He was 13 when I killed over 200 Male Uchiha. Joined the Akatsuki at 14 and was the strongest member besides Pain.
Only thing Obito had over Itachi was Great Fireball Jutsu and maybe a better MS ability.
@@kingdommccoy yes, obito was cheeks when he was a child but as he grew, it became clear that nobody in the leaf was on his level. If obito remained good, he would have became hokage with ease with kakashi as his shadow hokage. Other characters like kakashi, orochimaru and sasuke are better than Obito, jiraiya and naruto as kids, but when they grew up its not even a contest.

The entire fandom fell for Tobi's lie. Based on the manga (not taking the novels seriously unless they get a manga validating them like Sasuke Retsuden and the Mirai story) Itachi never had an illness. It was fake news to sway Sasuke over. Itachi never said he had one & his only supposed symptom was coughing up blood. Which Sasuke also did during the Danzo fight (chapter 479, page 1 & 11). It comes from overusing Susano. Sasuke mentioned it hurting on a cellular level despite not achieving it's "complete" form yet. Wondering how bad it was for Itachi who did (c466, p5).

Itachi knew. Obito wore the mask. Tenma died as a konoha shinobi and itachi had to work undercover to spy on Akatsuki. He couldn't go at obito directly for something that happened years ago, because the threat obito and Akatsuki posed was bigger than tenma life
