In the smoothie ingredients menu, the sea horses are selectable. Kinda strange for a smoothie, but monster parts and rocks are also ingredient options so who knows.
I remember a few months after Totk was first teased as Botw 2, I read rumors that there would be malice scattered throughout the land, which Link would have to clear in order to explore these covered areas. Guess that idea made it's way to Echoes of Wisdom.
Thank you SO much for mentioning the FSA horse mechanic! So many people are unaware of it because FSA isn't as well-known as other LoZ games. Awesome and informative video, as usual!
Do you think Zelda will meet a masked woman who has a grudge against her for no apparent reason, then remove the mask to reveal she looks just like the depiction in Zelda's wanted poster?
Legend of Zelda: Pots of destiny It’d be interesting to see what kinds of challenge runs could be done with the echo ability, also imagine Link’s surprise when he reunites with Zelda and she tells him about the many uses of pots and he’s like I thought it was just for yeeting at enemies and obtaining goodies.
I translated the Zora Flippers description. It says "Webbed feet modeled after a Zora's. They allow you to swim faster in water." So, does that mean that Zelda knows how to swim by default or while another item give her that ability? Also, I noticed that Zelda appears to be riding a blade trap here 3:14.
Been pretty excited about this. LTTP is my favorite game of all time, and I finally started ALBW after all these years! Although I am not very far into it, I wonder if there are any similarities between EOW and ALBW, besides the obvious LTTP references? Thanks for the content, as always. Best of the best.
1:12 Suthorn is just a kind of play on Southern, no? Reminds me of the Southern Swamp (MM)-would love to see it make a return, but I’m thinking it’ll just be Faron instead.

The Flying NPC kinda brings the Animal Crossing Games to mind. If only they made the Legend of Zelda character costumes available for the New Horizons game as well as Super Mario.
To be fair to Rhoam, he THOUGHT he was doing what was best for the Kingdom, regretted his actions in his ghost form, and probably blames himself for what happened
Well, ALBW was a direct sequel set in that Hyrule. As for this one, it’s not reusing the map. It’s very similar, yet it has Death Mountain Volcano, Gorons and a Gerudo city at a minimum, that is entirely different.
@@n1nj4l1nk I am beginning to suspect the average person doesn't actually know what the word "lazy" means when the use it in relation to game design and development. Especially when certain assumptions, like the map being the exact same as ALTTP, are proven wrong when there are tons of new areas.
i have a feeling that the new zelda minigame is gonna be house decorating owned by a Deku Shrub named Aloe, a Gerudo named Terricotta, a Goron named Crafton & a Sea Zora Guy named Aquario. they'll rate your room decor, & if its perfect enough, Aloe may spit out a Heart Piece at zelda as a prize
With the waypoint travel and horse, either the former will only come on-line later in the game, or the latter is just a redundant and "cool-but-nearly-useless" feature like Epona was in OoT.
Epona was necessary to get into Lake Hylia as an adult and the only way to collect Big Poes in Hyrule Field. She also made traversing Hyrule Field significantly faster, and there are a few minigames that required being on horseback.
@@OtakuUnitedStudio as I said, nearly useless, not useless. Epona is NOT necessary to get into Lake Hylia, the hookshot is enough. But yeah, she is used in side quests and minigames, but aside that....

No one seems to mention the contradiction between the trailers; in the first the rifts start while Zelda is trapped in a crystal but here it seems she's in the castle. The only way it isn't a contradiction is if the first rift happens when she's captured then she makes her way back to alert the King when the rest happen (I think that's what's gonna go down and rumours will imply that she caused the King to vanish which would explain why she is wanted).
It's actually not a bad interpretation, but it's not a contradiction "just because it looks like we start playing as Zelda when someone important goes into the dark rifts".

She does have a nose, it's just a small point that you can't really see from most angles. You can see it at 6:05.

Well, ALBW was a direct sequel set in that Hyrule. As for this one, it’s not reusing the map. It’s very similar, yet it has Death Mountain Volcano, Gorons and a Gerudo city at a minimum, that is entirely different.
