… how could you call the scene about Rex’s parents boring? The emotional scenes and the scenes where Pyra/Mythra and Rex bond are like the best ones. Actually there are few “bad” scenes imo.
I remember my brother walking in during the end of Torna and he kept making fun of the game when all of the depressing stuff was happening. That was certainly an experience.
I went into this game blind and was questioning my purchase at multiple times throughout but glad i stuck through. Yes it's "anime trash" at times but it might be the most charming game I've ever played
same here, there were a couple of scenes that made me roll my eyes a bit but overall the game was still wonderful and really fun and deep, and I think writing it off just because of those scenes without giving the rest of it a chance is a really stupid move.
the most awkward moment that happened to me with this game was when my sister was playing it for the first time, i was watching her, and when she got to the 'rex and mythra in bed' cutscene, i just pretended i had to go to the bathroom so i didn't have to suffer.
I'm on my first playthrough, now at chapter 5 and this game is already my favorite out of the trilogy! I don't get the hate honestly. It's goofy in parts but I think it adds to the charm.
Yeah there’s definitely a lot of goofy/bizarre stuff at times but the game was my favorite of the trilogy too! I think the goofiness gave it more character than 3, it was just a lot more fun to play
I'm certain something like this will happen when I get round to actually playing through XC2 (I've a LP on it, and I've 100%'d 1 & 3) - my younger brother will definitely look at me very confused/concerned if he ever decides to walk into my room at an unfortunate time.
🤣 Oh my god, it reminds me when my friend walked over to me during the Mythra bed scene when she sleepwalked into Rex’s bed and woke up next to him and his reaction was like, “What type of game are you playing?” Then right after that, he watched more and he was like, “Is that hentai?”
The first time I played it, it was like 00:00 Am, I was playing at the big Tv from livingroom, my brother went to brush the teeth, and that Bana's ?? Girl almost with no clothes was there at the cutscene This is why portable mode exist 😂
This is why i 1. Have my table next to the door in such a way that you need to look to the right 2. My laptop's back towards the door So my parents would need to go around my table to see my screen which they don't do in 10/10 cases
This is so accurate lmao. I remember my mom walking in on that one epic scene on chapter 7 amd I had to tell her that it isn't what it looks like. She just walked away lol. I love this game to death but kinda wish they toned down some scenes.
This wasn't a weird/perverse moment in a game, but I remember my mom walking in when I was playing the original Resident Evil 4. It was the scene after the statue chase where Leon throws his knife and pins Salazar's hand to the wall. He slowly looks at it and starts whimpering in pain and my mom was like "why did he do that to that little boy????" 😂
Elder bro(who's like in his 20s) and dad were watching me play XC1 for like 6 hours straight. And they weren't even irritated, they were just confused and didn't even bother understanding all the jrpg shenanigans.😂
Xenoblade 1: anime game you should show people Xenoblade 2: anime game you shouldn't show people Xenoblade 2 dlc: maybe show friends without mythra scenes. Xenoblade 1 FC: can show friends. Xenoblade 3: anime game you can show FANS Xenoblade blade 3 dlc: show FANS
it’s still a good experience lol for all its weird moments it’s still easily in my top 3 games for that amazing story and environments and some really fun characters
Mega Man Legends. For some reason walking in on Roll while she’s changing (or something, you don’t see but it’s implied) is a thing you can do? And at that exact moment my mom sees mega man’s shocked expression and hated everything about it. I think a similar gag was in the second game too? Why tho, I’m just here to shoot robots
It is a really solid franchise, 2 was actually my favorite bc of how fun the combat was and how interesting the story and characters got towards the back half! It does definitely have some weird spots and flaws lol which are totally valid to joke about but all three still pack good experiences!
Damn, if you found an emotional scene about the main character’s family boring, I can only imagine what you thought of the numerous cutscenes involving political discussions and world-building exposition.
I said this is in other comments but I loved this game, I didn’t think any of it was boring. It’s just the first scene I could think of by name as a wholesome one for the sake of the video. I also don’t dislike Dahlia as a character either, her design just needed to be toned down a bit. Again, I said this in other places but I love the world building and story and almost everything about this game. This was just the first scene I could think of to use of for the wholesome part. Sorry lol
@@eeveestrations Nah you’re good homie, I just found it funny that you chose a relatively emotional scene over one that could be traditionally considered as “boring”. I’m not sure if that was the intention or not but either way it made me laugh lol! As for the whole Dahlia thing, it doesn’t really affect me one way or the other. I don’t really get bothered by sexual designs or anything, but I will admit that most fanservice-y moments in the game fell a bit flat. I def understand that you and others aren’t a fan of that sort of thing though, and I respect that.
My dad actually watched me play the game, but not all the way through, he actually didn't have any problems with it at all really. Although, I'm kinda relieved he wasn't watching when I got to the introduction of Poppi where when she first activates and says "How may I be of service, master?" I feel like that would've been mad uncomfortable, _I don't wanna explain what lolis are to my father._ lmao
I almost used the Poppi clip instead of the Dahlia one bc I like dahlia as a character but I decided I didn’t want to rewatch that one again haha it’s just too awkward
First time I got XC2 for Christmas in 2017, I sent a picture of the game to my brother. He doesnt play yhe games, but is well aware of the character design controversy that's went around, and legit told me to be careful when playing it in the house. Thankfully, I never got Dalliah on my first playthrough, so I'm at least thankful for that.
My parents are so chill chill about this stuff i literally show them mk1 fatalities on my switch and they say nothing about it they actually think its pretty cool
It's awful that every time my dads walks in and I'm playing something, he always says something like "you should do something else, or worth it, etc" he can't realize that videogames aren't just for kids, and I feel guilty and upset because I love videogames and litle by litle my motivation for play is dissapearing, so I try to play when he is not at home. I do my chores, my homework, I'm in collage, i have friends, but I have a hobbie too :( I'm sorry for this comment, i just wanted to say what I am feeling, I hope you guys understand

My wife got angry at me when playing as Sharla in Xenoblade 1. She was like “don’t play as that girl with the boobs” 😂
Noooo Sharla is pretty tame 😭😭
good to see that this situation is timeless, from my era to young generation lmao
Ive never had this happen to me once
my parents always walk in at the best parts
Nice to see one of my fav Twitter artists doing fun content like this here :D
:D glad you enjoyed it!!! And my art too lol
Thats why i appreciate the fact that yakuza games cutscenes can be paused.
@@eeveestrations totally agree. It's a flawed masterpiece in my opinion and one of my favorite games of all time
@@eeveestrations i will buy it if they remove all the perverted stuff for a remaster for the switch 2 or something
"this is a jrpg zone" 0:40 LMAO scott the woz is quaking rn
Eevee comedy sketch?!
First an artist now a comedian, whatever will you come up with next?
I know!! I can be funny on occasion!!! Maybe next I can be a comedian artist!!
the most awkward moment that happened to me with this game was when my sister was playing it for the first time, i was watching her, and when she got to the 'rex and mythra in bed' cutscene, i just pretended i had to go to the bathroom so i didn't have to suffer.
Unholy? Provocative? Your mum sounds insane lol
I am 38 now. Parents who have to ask these questions clearly were no gamers in their days.
The first time I played it, it was like 00:00 Am, I was playing at the big Tv from livingroom, my brother went to brush the teeth, and that Bana's ?? Girl almost with no clothes was there at the cutscene
This is why portable mode exist 😂
This is why i
1. Have my table next to the door in such a way that you need to look to the right
2. My laptop's back towards the door
So my parents would need to go around my table to see my screen which they don't do in 10/10 cases
This is so accurate lmao. I remember my mom walking in on that one epic scene on chapter 7 amd I had to tell her that it isn't what it looks like. She just walked away lol. I love this game to death but kinda wish they toned down some scenes.
uh oh which scene was it
@eeveestrations to avoid spoilers it was the coffee with milk scene when you see the logo name near the core crystal
Meanwhile me Playing Bayonetta 1 and 2 and no one is questioning it
For Okami the moment of bad timing would be the dialogue with Tzusurao. That music is horny af
The mom is right. And then she made her kid play Zelda Totk to build a hoverbike
the good timeline
When she said "unholy provocative filth" I unlocked a few core memories.
When you’re browsing the Skyrim nexus and your parents walk in:
This wasn't a weird/perverse moment in a game, but I remember my mom walking in when I was playing the original Resident Evil 4. It was the scene after the statue chase where Leon throws his knife and pins Salazar's hand to the wall. He slowly looks at it and starts whimpering in pain and my mom was like "why did he do that to that little boy????" 😂
Elder bro(who's like in his 20s) and dad were watching me play XC1 for like 6 hours straight. And they weren't even irritated, they were just confused and didn't even bother understanding all the jrpg shenanigans.😂
Xenoblade 1: anime game you should show people
Xenoblade 2: anime game you shouldn't show people
Xenoblade 2 dlc: maybe show friends without mythra scenes.
Xenoblade 1 FC: can show friends.
Xenoblade 3: anime game you can show FANS
Xenoblade blade 3 dlc: show FANS
Any anime games you shouldn’t show people at all
It’s just called the Xenoblade 2 experience
it’s still a good experience lol for all its weird moments it’s still easily in my top 3 games for that amazing story and environments and some really fun characters
@@eeveestrations it is a really good game, especially the soundtrack
oh yeah the soundtrack is incredible, I don’t think the music gets nearly enough love
@@eeveestrations the soundtrack is a big reason why I like the Xenoblade series
Mega Man Legends. For some reason walking in on Roll while she’s changing (or something, you don’t see but it’s implied) is a thing you can do? And at that exact moment my mom sees mega man’s shocked expression and hated everything about it.
I think a similar gag was in the second game too? Why tho, I’m just here to shoot robots
I think if it's useless to argue - you should say that "actually these designs are great" XD
never played xeno games, didn't expect a lewd pretty moment lol xd this can be for a lotta things. it happened with me and anime
They’re really good games, this one is particular just has a few bad moments and this one really egregious design lol
Xenoblade is a great franchise, it’s awesome to see other enjoying it, even if it is when pointing out the weird parts.
It is a really solid franchise, 2 was actually my favorite bc of how fun the combat was and how interesting the story and characters got towards the back half! It does definitely have some weird spots and flaws lol which are totally valid to joke about but all three still pack good experiences!
As an audiophile, those beats headphones are whats more provocative to me.
Imagine you are playing a Persona game and your parents walk in while Mara is on the screen.
As both a parent and a lover of jRPGs, I get it. Both sides.
Truly the duality of jrpgs lol
First time I got XC2 for Christmas in 2017, I sent a picture of the game to my brother. He doesnt play yhe games, but is well aware of the character design controversy that's went around, and legit told me to be careful when playing it in the house.
Thankfully, I never got Dalliah on my first playthrough, so I'm at least thankful for that.
Im re playing FE3H doing a BL run in and im always scared that when my mom enters the room Manuela its in a cutscene
I’ve had so many similar experiences but with vtuber streams or my pc wallpapers lol
I feel like explaining FuwaMoco would be easier than explaining dahlia in xc2 tho 😭😭
the doggos are easy idk what I would do if they see out of context Shiori 😅@@eeveestrations
I do my chores, my homework, I'm in collage, i have friends, but I have a hobbie too
:( I'm sorry for this comment, i just wanted to say what I am feeling, I hope you guys understand
Man I'm pretty much the exact same! It's just that my dad never actually praises me for almost anything so I guess that numbed me from all those judgements lol, & I'd sometimes actually try to challenge him & showing off some cool things you'd only experience in computer games.
Life is like playing JRPG with someone else in the room. You never know what a cut scene will be, or how the other person will think of you for playing this...
that’s so oddly poetic lol
