@@mowajumuyideen7935 Thanks for the great suggestions! We are working on some pronunciation videos for vowel sounds. We will also be doing some shorts with vowels! Here's on short on /i/ as in "heel" vs. /ɪ/ as in "hill" in case it helps: th-cam.com/users/shortsF6L17MxOa6s?feature=share
My students love your videos! Any chance you could create videos that helps differentiate similar sounds? For example, my students struggle with /sh/ and /ch/ or /s/ and /sh/ (especially at the end of words). Thanks :)
We're happy to hear your students are enjoying our videos! Thanks for the suggestion. In the pronunciation lessons on our site (ellii.com), we always include minimal pair exercises since they are so useful for listening and pronunciation practice. I'm hoping we will do full videos on minimal pairs here too, but in the meantime, we do have many shorts that compare two sounds. Look for the shorts called "Am I saying X or Y?" in this list: www.youtube.com/@ellii/shorts Hope that helps!
That's what all our pronunciation videos are! Phonetics is the production of sounds, from the form of the mouth (placement of lips and tongue, etc.) to your vocal cords vibrating (voiced sounds) or not (voiceless sounds). Find our entire playlist here: th-cam.com/play/PL0MvnNQjMzmaj3OyBD766o70tB5OsiwHp.html
The good news is that you will usually pronounce the voiced or voiceless /th/ naturally because of the sound before it, so don't worry too much. Did you watch our voiced /th/ videos? They might help you compare: th-cam.com/video/JTZgEWNQIIo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZbNMLE6aXdgd8uVz

Could you make videos for us about Phonetics?

Echo, terminado!
I said Z instead of th😅
Don't worry. That's pretty common! Now you know how to correct it. 😉
How will you: describing a feature of English pronunciation that you believe might be difficult for your students, with TH sound? + an activity.
We do all that and more in our pronunciation lessons on Ellii. Learn more at ellii.com
@@ellii do you have a special video on YT or special text to answer my question? :)
@@filippajyrell We don't, but I'll add it to our to-do list!
'Th" is difficult to pronounce to me! I often bite my tongue! 😂
Ouch! Most other languages don't have the "th" sound, so it's a tough one to pronounce for sure.
can you please make a video of how to pronounce "clothes"?
We sure can! We'll make a Short on this soon. Stay tuned!
I'm pronouncing "both" almost as "Boss" 😫😫😫😫😫😫
That's common, but just try to put your tongue between your upper and lower teeth instead of behind your upper front teeth.
I can pronounce th songs but i can't distinguish between voiced and unvoiced th. 😞😞
