Nice catch :-) Thanks for sharing, I have hair sheep and I am waiting until they are sold to determine if I will castrate or not. I was hoping to castrate them near weaning for any rams not sold since I don't want to house a bunch of rams. This video was very helpful fo rme. I have a flock sire and just bought a ram lamb for future breeding if I decide to keep any ewe lambs back. I have Blackbelly (barbados) sheep.

The little ram with black legs, face & ears looks cool. I've never seen a sheep like that before. I only saw sheep that were all one color black, white, gray, tan etc. ☺

We castrate rams first week thats what a vet say after first week it’s illegal to do that.

u taking a higher moral ground thinking you are more caring to the animals than the farmer but you are wrong and misplaced,,, this farmer takes care of these animals, feeds them, treats them.... assuming the animals were taken under your care, you would leave them roam around under no care leaving them untended, eaten by the wild and within no time the sheep race on earth will be wiped off. Now who is more caring you or the farmer? 😂😂😂
