- The all new CFMOTO 450MT is unveiled at EICMA 2023 and widens the fleet of CFMOTO bikes dedicated to any sort of adventures.
CFMOTO’s proven and successful 449cc parallel twin platform has been tuned and honed for the fun and excitement of adventure riding. With proven performances, the multifunctional bike 450MT makes the riding experience incredibly easy due to a 175kg dry weight. Handling on and off-road is guaranteed by high-ground clearance and KYB adjustable suspensions.
Ergonomics are finely tuned to provide comfort cruising in windy-roads, but also guarantee full control in the roughest trails with a high-bent handlebar and dedicated foodpegs. The bike’s off-road soul is expressed through the tech specs as well as the bodywork and styling. And to improve the off-road capabilities, the BOSCH dual-channel ABS can be turned off on the rear wheel through a dedicated handlebar button. Also the BOSCH TCS can be disengaged through the curved 5” TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity.

Yeah but why listen to customers if you can convince them to spend 20K on a 250kg cow and tell them it's a great offroader :D No but seriously - couldn't agree more. Major manufacturers are neglecting the light ADV bike segment. The only serious bike in this segment seems to be the 390 adventure, but the reliability is questionable. Plus a cross plane 2 cylinder is sooo much nicer than a single cylinder.
And it's also A2 license compliant if you live in Europe

have you looked at the spec mate, it is 175kg dry, only 12kg off tuareg 660. the main reason "people asking" for "down sizing" is to lowering the weight (once the weight is down, suspension feels better, accelerates faster, stops quicker and easier to maintain the up right position while in slippy condition). they built a bike that down sized engine, but not the weight, what is the point mate?
IMO they just wanted to share a piece of the markets created by kove 450, so they created a knockoff that that knocks another Chinese brand.

@@J.I.R.A considering the cb500x was primarily a daily commute and suburban moto, I agree 100%. Zero reason to do a badge swap. It’s obvious now Honda isn’t going to give us a off road bias motorcycle that can handle road work as well like ktm and Yamaha. I don’t count the Africa twin because 550lbs is absurd for off road.
@@theeschatechannel2854 Yeah it feels like they want to capitalize on the offroad/adventure look that the XL750 Transalp has but they haven’t gotten the look right nor have they given it proper offroad capabilities. It’s the same thing that happened with cars and SUVs. I’ll take a look into both the 450MT and the new Himalayan, they both look like interesting options.
For sure the NX500 is the biggest regret of all times. These guys from CFMOTO are doing the right thing it is time to give it a try and move on from Japanese obsoleted bikes.

As a KTM 250 adventure user, which i am not happy with, was waiting for Triumph scrambler 400x but this has changed the game. Now i am waiting for this beauty. I hope it will come to Turkey and i will pre-order with boxes. Beautiful bike and exactly what i need. Nice work CFMOTO 👏🏼

This could be the perfect bike. The right wheel size combo and tubeless to boot, twin cylinder with 270 degree crank, low 30 inch seat height, enough ground clearance that has 8 inch adjustable suspension. This or the Royal Enfield Himalayan is on my shopping list when they hit the US. The Japanese manufacturers are really missing the boat on what they are offering up for sale. Honda has a new NX 500 out too but it's just a makeover of the old heavy CB500x.

The Himalayan is also heavy. The KTM 390ADV seems to be the best small adventure bike atm, but the reliability issues are concerning. The MT450 could indeed be the perfect bike.

How is CB500X heavy compared to 450MT? 450MT is 175kg DRY weight, add fluids and full tank of gas and there you go...

For those posting comments about dealers and parts - in the US - you must not be aware that CFMoto has already established dealer relationships through their ATV sales for over a decade here, and so in fact there are many dealers. I have a couple within 30 miles of me, and more within 60. Compare that to Enfield that only has 1 dealer within 60 miles. They are also not only established ATV manufacturer but have been manufacturing engines and/or bikes for other brands like KTM for some time now and have a partnership with KTM going forward.

China has the most massive and biggest manufacturing supplier base in the world for anything and everything. There is a lot of competition from many suppliers for a single part...so prices reduce...and the Chinese companies are honest enough to pass on this benefit to consumers. Something similar to Japanese of the 60s and 70s but on a much much larger scale.
They just giant corporations with dick in their hands run by bookkeepers. They just don't even care / try

Pretty much close to perfect adv. Just some more power and suspension travel is needed. Weight on paper seems perfect 👌🏿and im sure it feels super light for adv. I know my ktm640adv with same weight feels like toy compared to avg adv like my AT

I have been waiting for Honda to come out with a version of this now forever. Had a 2015 cb500x, and that bike just needed a tweaked frame and better
suspension and wheels. we'll they added an 19" and a tiny bit of travel, but that is it over all this time. Then l heard about the NX and what do we get ?
Basically a new faring some electronic bits and some this pkg that costs more or that pkg crap! WTF Honda give us what we want already!
I have been a Honda loyalist forever with over 30 bikes bought over the years and this is ridiculous not waiting anymore l am taking my money

They are not doing these kind of bikes because no one gonna buy them expensive heavy ass enduros aka africa twin anymore. Same for BMW, Yamaha and all other OEMs, sadly.

@@eastsidebadger8416 You must not be familiar with the situation then, since I have at least 2 CFMoto dealers already and within 30 miles of me, with even more within 60 miles. Since they were and are a successful ATV company most dealers already had a relationship - they are not new.

the kove 450 is 145kg so im kinda undecided between this two, the kove must be way better offroad but i bet the mt is a lot more premium and comfortable.

Same for me, but the Kove is much more aggressive IMHO so I think I'll go with this one that seems to me a pretty good all rounder and still a very capable off-road machine unlike the Honda cb/nx500
and its a 270-degree parallel tin - no buzziness, no vibration, a better engine all round!

RE made up of High Quality Metal But looking cfmoto it has mostly Plastics and Carbon Fibers it may be 189-191,
RE HM 452 Tested in Himalayan, Mountains, Extreme OffRoading, Extremely Cold, Extreme Hot, Extreme Muddy, So RE Made it More AGILITY & More ERGONOMIC.
Whereas Cfmoto mainly for Tourer.
Its 190kg wet!! Is 10kg such a big issue?

The CFmoto would run rings around the Himalayan 452 - less weight, more power, more torque, tubeless rims, its a parallel twin instead of a single, better suspension (compression, rebound and preload adjustable), adjustable screen etc.......I love the Himalayan 452 but it is not as high-specced as the 450MT!
@@lovepeacehatewar9818 I like the HM 452 also. It’s a hard choice to be honest, however the CFMoto has a twin cylinder and is lighter so it’s going to feel more powerful than it really is. On the other hand, the RE is a far more beautiful bike. The CF looks like A.I designed it. I’ll have to test ride both.

Si la hacéis fiable, creo que veremos muchísimas por las calles. Os ha quedado una moto muy bonita y con pinta de ser eficaz y cumplidora en uso urbano utilitario y rutero. Por favor ofreced asiento bajo en opción o pasará como con la KTM 390 Adventure, que perdió muchísimos clientes por la excesiva altura al suelo de su asiento.
Tras 45 años de motos variadas y maxitrail, la 390, es la moto trail con asiento más alto que he tenido y probablemente, la cambiaré únicamente por ese motivo.
También sería muy interesante que ofrecieseis ese motor sin esa limitación de caballos tan drástica, ya que somos muchos con edad avanzada y carnet de moto grande, que compraríamos sin pensarlo una moto como la CFMOTO 450 MT que diera 50 caballos o algo más. Ese motor, en mi opinión está demasiado limitado para los que hemos tenido muchas motos o tenemos moto equivalente pero más ligera. Un saludo desde España. ✌

No it won't. Even though the products are good and they have a JV with KTM, Indians do not trust Chinese stuff and want to spend money on it and more than that it's status symbol. People don't want to be seen with a Chinese bike when their friends have European ones. And of course the dealer network is almost non existent so in case things go wrong, one will be stranded.
I hope CFMoto sells well and sets up more service centres and dealers. I also hope Kove also comes to India. These companies are making good stuff and our companies are still happy doing 150cc stuff. I expect so much from companies like Hero, TVS who have race pedigree but absolutely nothing to aspire for. And these Chinese companies are making such good products.
Looks and Power is good a Little Bit more than HM452 But Not Far Away in Looks & Power.
But bhai they seem to be Made up of More Plastic and Fibers But in Himalayan 452 it has High Quality Metal, with all Premiums Fit and Finished.

And what "high quality metal" parts are on the new Himalayan that are made of plastic on the CFmoto? Except for the tank the new Himalayan is also plastic exactly same as the CFMoto or every other bike out in the market like a Tiger or GS.
And you think CFMoto has not been tested in extreme conditions? How did you come to that conclusion? You don't think China has extreme landscapes? On the other side of Ladakh is China.
And it's not ergonomic cos it's broad and high? Seriously do you even know what ADVs primary objective is? Have you ever even seen or rode the bigger ADVs like the Tiger or GS or Africa Twins or KTMs? All are big and high.

When are we going to see a dirt bike from cfmoto?
it is 175kg dry, only 12kg off tuareg 660 (187kg dry), what's the point down sizing the engine but not the weight?
40% less cost and a lot more enjoyable offroad being able to use all of the power, instead of limiting it with nanny trac control and electronics. Its still quick but ringing out smaller motors is a lot more fun than holding back bigger ones.
It's still the lightest two cyl adv bike so that's already some achievement.
Don't look at just numbers like this, it's not good indication for how it feels.
My AT with full tank feels almost two times heavier than empty when you lean and it's only 13kg.of. difference.....
