Katherine found her dress elsewhere. The lines were similar to the ones she'd tried on but the bottom was different. She was stunning. (The wedding took place in 2015.)
Straight away I thought you would give the staff the cupcakes to put in their break room, you wouldn't open them in front of the cameras. It's a wedding dress shop for heaven's sake, the staff wouldn't be waving sticky cakes around!
Well, I like their show and enjoyed seeing her in a different way. They are so sweet- both sisters even though they are so different from each other. Work together so well.
Kathrine actually did well by telling her sister not to pay for the custom gown cuz it is her wedding. She knew she shouldn’t be relying heavily on her sister’s opinion about her dress choice when she has to be the one that feels like a bride. I’m sure she’ll find her. She knows what she likes, she just needs to find it :)
I wished she would have tried on a few different dresses with different silhouettes just to see if that’s what she really wanted in the end. But I hope she is happy with her choice in the end.
I think the advisors failed if they didn't show her different options. How many times have we seen brides who think they want something and when something different is suggested they find the perfect dress?
I am sure they did. In this 10 minute video they only show key elements. The brides try on about 10 dresses during their SYTTD appointments. We don’t see all of them on the YT videos.
The bride's that say yes to the dress on the show, don't always get married in the dress they said yes to on air. They often end up wearing something completely different.
@ladyjustice1474 how do you know that? Besides its just a TV SHOW. Not too many women out there who are rich enough to buy a second dress to be married in.
She has the figure for a column style or drop waist. The natural waist and full skirt make her look gangly. You have to dress your physique to look great in the dress.
My sister is indecisive as well. She had a very small wedding with family. She didn't want to spend a lot of money on the dress or ceremony. She had it in my great aunt's backyard. Knowing what she likes, I found a 100% silk slip dress from JCrew online. This was back in the day when JCrew did wedding dresses. It was even on sale. I sent her photos. She bought it and had it tailored. It looked beautiful on her and her photos were great.
The dress she ended up wearing was actually very similar, but not as poufy and busy in the skirt. She wore "a delicate strapless Vera Wang gown that featured an overlay of lace and acres of tulle belted with jewels on a taupe satin ribbon."
Mothers choice was the best...i think she did not like the cupcake swirls and so many roses, though she thought she would....they should have shown her different ball gowns...
I think seeing herself in the dress her mother picked was probably one of the best things that could have happened. It confirmed her instinct that she wanted cupcake (even if this isn't her final dress)
with as indecisive as she was, I'm surprised she was able to accept the proposal without looking at her sister. I get that buying a dress is a big decision but I was getting frustrated with her
Please tell me why, especially in a city like New York, there are no long sleeved dresses? Surely some of these weddings are in the colder fall and winter months? Are you not showing us the sleeves, long gloves, boleros, jackets and shrugs?
Thankfully she didn’t get that dress I can tell she wasn’t feeling it but her sister was, she can definitely use a better shape especially for her price point she need something better
Honestly, I wonder how anyone can spend $10,000k or more on a dress they will only wear once. I don’t get it because it will just hang in the closet after you wear it for one day.
Our Aussie family went to DC Cupcakes on a trip to America. We were great fans, and I’d been wanting a red velvet cupcake for ages. We waited in line to enter, bought the cakes and brought them back to the hotel. That was when I discovered I was allergic to red food dye. Happily we had bought other types as well.
Im always thinking, whatever happened to simple? My mum wore , ok 2nd wedding and it was late 70s, a plain chiffon long sleeve with gather a wrist, floor length pale pale almost blue tinied dress. She looked lovely. These are pretty but sometimes i think, and i know, people laugh at the OTT 80s, these are meringuies too
The whole family is wonderful. But my personal opinion is she never should have been allowed to try to look like a damn cupcake. She makes cupcakes all day long! She’s famous for cupcakes! She’s got a lovely figure. (How does she do that with all those cupcakes around?) They should have tried several unexpected, flattering dress shapes on her so she could see what she looks like in a dress that ENHANCES a bride’s shape and personal style!! Jeez, that’s what professionals are for!! I feel like she was dressing for a costume party… as a cupcake. Her bridesmaids can be napkins ?? Anyway, I hope she has a lovely wedding. She’s a sweet girl.
I've never understood how a grown person relys on other people to make decisions for them. Especially if you run your own business where you have to make all the decisions.
$10K on a cupcake dress is ridiculous. I’m not aganist expensive dresses, I just think they need to be very well designed and unique to be worth the money. The dresses they put her in are very cheap looking, you can find that style for $800 at David’s Bridal. Her taste in dresses really only requires a $1k budget
I think she should FIRST tried on different styles like A-line, fit to flair and princess (without the busy bottom) since it’s her first time trying on any wedding dresses! You cannot pick a wedding dress until you know what style works the very best for you!
Buying a dress is not a great decision, getting married is. You wear a dress less than 4 hrs, and you are supposed to be married for life, supposedly. 😊
You are not ready to make a decision don’t go shopping for a wedding gown. You are just wasting everyone’s time. Plus if she is this indecisive on everything God help her husband to be. Living with her would be a nightmare.
A bride who looks at these "cupcake" dresses and says yes that's what I'm going for is so fun when so many others don't like them because they look like "cake toppers" haha!
The dress was too much material. The bride was swallowed up. Oh, it looks like a cup cake is not a good way to pick a dress. I hope she let go of the 'I want to look like I am wearing a cup cake' concept, and tried on different styles..
Jesus, they went crazy with the cuts in the video here, one moment she's looking at a dress, the next second she's looking at another, same with the hair, accessories... very confusing.
Well they’re allowed to change their minds and it still doesn’t diminish the experience…but for some of course, they could experience this multiple times.
Of course she didn't buy it...the whole episode is a PR stunt for her cupcake shack. If her business was selling sausages, she'd have said "I wanna look like a sausage!"
You can’t always depend on others to make a decision yk . Have some individuality. Idk I don’t really like this bride . If you overthink so much and you can’t make a decision it’s better you get therapy first and fix yourself then get married . Tf

I’d never google someone I don’t know that was on a tlc reality show for 10 min. I’m just here for the drama and to look at the dresses.
Thank you!

I'm glad she found the dress that worked for her, and very glad the wedding went so well!
She got married in a Vera Wang dress
Well well well, now that's free advertising for their cupcake business right there! How strategic.
Right? They knew they weren’t buying any dress there. The sister even pretended she wanted to pay for the dress. 😂
@@Osita0926 And her mum found an outlandish dress which everyone could see straight away wasn't a dress she would ever wear.
Work together so well.
good thing their cupcakes suck. and so does waiting in the line full of tourist
I'm proud of her for not being pushed into something. ❤
I'm glad that Katherine didn't let herself make a hasty decision. Best to sleep on it.
The first complete dress was the best, IMO. It just needed to have added tulle underneath to make it fuller.
Просто консультанты старались предложить платья по цене бюджета в 10000. Бизнес.
I agree - for 10,000 there are a lot of gorgeous dresses she could have tried!
Exactly! I was waiting for someone to suggest that perhaps she might actually look better in something that's NOT a cupcake design??🙄🙄
I am sure they did. In this 10 minute video they only show key elements. The brides try on about 10 dresses during their SYTTD appointments. We don’t see all of them on the YT videos.
I love to watch and see the professionalism they all have as wedding gown sellers.
The bride's that say yes to the dress on the show, don't always get married in the dress they said yes to on air. They often end up wearing something completely different.
Oh well.
Truth, I've no doubt...but overall, who cares??
Omg, we totally did not know that. It’s not like someone mentions it in every freaking video. Omg. Thanks for telling us something new! Omg!
@ladyjustice1474 how do you know that? Besides its just a TV SHOW. Not too many women out there who are rich enough to buy a second dress to be married in.
It’s more about the drama of buying a wedding dress and the showcasing of the dresses to the audience (us). I’d never google them cuz idk them.
She has the figure for a column style or drop waist. The natural waist and full skirt make her look gangly. You have to dress your physique to look great in the dress.
Sophie is so special I understand why her sister leans on her so much ❤
what they don't tell you is that after alterations the dress was over 15k, so it was over budget
I love these guys! It brings so much memories watching DC Cupcakes when i was little

They own D.C. cupcakes in Washington D.C . The custom dress looked beautiful on her . Even though she didn’t get it I hope Katherine finds her dress

Their cupcakes are amazing! We always have them for special occasions.
Mothers choice was the best...i think she did not like the cupcake swirls and so many roses, though she thought she would....they should have shown her different ball gowns...
Mother's choice was terrible😅 but I agree that she should've tried more different gowns
Never be afraid to say no and wait until you feel it’s the right one. It’s hard to walk away but you will be happier if you are certain.
I think seeing herself in the dress her mother picked was probably one of the best things that could have happened. It confirmed her instinct that she wanted cupcake (even if this isn't her final dress)
The second dress skirt portion looks like Jackie Kennedy’s wedding dress when she married JOHN F. ❤️🌹❤️
with as indecisive as she was, I'm surprised she was able to accept the proposal without looking at her sister. I get that buying a dress is a big decision but I was getting frustrated with her
I was also getting frustated with her and I also asked my self the same thing about her accepting the proposal 😅
Please tell me why, especially in a city like New York, there are no long sleeved dresses? Surely some of these weddings are in the colder fall and winter months? Are you not showing us the sleeves, long gloves, boleros, jackets and shrugs?
85 percent if weddings are in warm months
Thankfully she didn’t get that dress I can tell she wasn’t feeling it but her sister was, she can definitely use a better shape especially for her price point she need something better
She wound up with a Vera Wang gown with a similar shape but different bottom.
They should have had her try on more styles.
I've never seen someone so indecisive and incapable of making a decision. How did she decide on who to marry?
TBA?? 😂
She wasn’t feeling the dress. Which happens to most of us
I used to love their baking show!!!!
Honestly, I wonder how anyone can spend $10,000k or more on a dress they will only wear once. I don’t get it because it will just hang in the closet after you wear it for one day.
How did she even get engaged?

Google says she ended up wearing a Vera Wang on her wedding
Yes, many celebrities wear Vera Wang’s dresses too. They are better than Pnina for sure.
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj nordstrom rack probably has better dresses than pnina hahaha
Idk why yall are calling her annoying. Theyre both sweet

They really need to bring DC Cupcakes back, such a great show
I love DC Cupcakes ❤
I think the 2 dresses that was put together look beautiful it looked just like a cupcake 🧁 to me
The whole family is wonderful. But my personal opinion is she never should have been allowed to try to look like a damn cupcake.

Waahhhh super miss them DC Cupcakes. Love them so much.

I've never understood how a grown person relys on other people to make decisions for them. Especially if you run your own business where you have to make all the decisions.
Turn on CC.
Not a fan of her dresses, as long as she's love them, that what matters.
What a fool, she looked beautiful in it😮

OMG! I know the mother-in-law! Hi Elaine!
She needs to be in one of Randy's dresses.
I think she should FIRST tried on different styles like A-line, fit to flair and princess (without the busy bottom) since it’s her first time trying on any wedding dresses! You cannot pick a wedding dress until you know what style works the very best for you!
Why the heck would you want to look like a cupcake? These are grown adults
Buying a dress is not a great decision, getting married is. You wear a dress less than 4 hrs, and you are supposed to be married for life, supposedly. 😊

Why do I have a feeling this woman is going to be trying on hundreds of dresses...😅
The two tops looked the same to me...
A bride who looks at these "cupcake" dresses and says yes that's what I'm going for is so fun when so many others don't like them because they look like "cake toppers" haha!
I’ve had their cupcakes they are very good
Cupcake dress, noooo! Why can’t she just try on more dresses?
Best thing was to walk away because none of the dresses were good for the bride.
I'm glad she left both gowns were ugly the hybrid of the two didn't help
That style of dress dated fast...
I loved her mothers pic
Let your consultant do their jobs.
What is with these Sunday rose dresses. They look like they've been patched together with pieces from garbage
Good for her, I thought both dresses were very bulky and looked heavy and not flowy. Wonder what she really got.

Indecisive 🤔.
Dress 1 is gawdy.
Узнав цену, она передумала.
The dress was too much material. The bride was swallowed up. Oh, it looks like a cup cake is not a good way to pick a dress. I hope she let go of the 'I want to look like I am wearing a cup cake' concept, and tried on different styles..
This is a really old episode!
Jesus, they went crazy with the cuts in the video here, one moment she's looking at a dress, the next second she's looking at another, same with the hair, accessories... very confusing.
Why do they all have binders? Way too excessive and just weird.
Not loving the first 2 dresses … gotta be honest…neitehr seem to be doing it.
I think this “cupcake” vibe is silly. … she looks ridiculous. I’m sorry
I didn't like it at all
I didn't like any of the gowns on her as they looked out of balance on her figure. Too big on the bottom for her smaller bodice
She is a libra
❤❤ wow
Modest dress. No low neck
Well they’re allowed to change their minds and it still doesn’t diminish the experience…but for some of course, they could experience this multiple times.
They just wanted to be on the show 😂
RANDY taken a big brake stay home.
Pinkie pie’s wedding dress

How did this bride get anywhere in life?? Can't even make a decision as a adult. Feel sorry for the man she is going to marry.
This is one of the rare cases where you see a bride jacked up prior to that crucial ‘tipping point’
Ugghhh
Dress 2 is stiff and gawdy.
If she would keep an open mind, and be less picky, a pretty dress would have been found, without fuss. (Go back to your buns).
I can't stand grown adults who are incapable of making a decision.
I'm glad because these dresses did nothing for her figure.
Those dresses did nothing for her!
All i could think about was "Somewhere back inside a room, wearing a gown shaped like a pastry" (Taylor swift)
I honestly think that dress cuts her in the wrong spot. The waist needs ro be dropped a bit
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Of course she didn't buy it...the whole episode is a PR stunt for her cupcake shack. If her business was selling sausages, she'd have said "I wanna look like a sausage!"
😂
She did wind up with a "cupcake" dress, but not what she tried on at Kleinfeld's.
You can’t always depend on others to make a decision yk . Have some individuality. Idk I don’t really like this bride . If you overthink so much and you can’t make a decision it’s better you get therapy first and fix yourself then get married . Tf
I don’t know why the SR is so popular
It cuts in a really weird way and is just awful
Most of the time the dresses don't suit the brides.....in this show
How did she choose the MAN. Or did sister pick him.
I think she is too mature for the first two dresses.
