I'm from The Netherlands and now for a half year in Kyrgyzstan. The things they mentioned are really true! Also Kyrgyz people are very proud of their country. At least when I compare it with Dutch people.
These young people are so impressive . It's obvious they come from a country with good culture and moral values . Very refreshing . Good luck to them .
Very interesting indeed I graduate in London so I lived there for many years, now I am in Kyrgyzstan for work experiences since 4 months and I do really understand their feelings....
My wife tried to feed me left over Legman for breakfast once. Needless to say she got her feelings hurt when I made myself a bowl of Golden Grahams and toast. Now I've been around Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz people so much I just do like them. :)

Ok, It is the same complain that every people from a pre-industrial society can do. In those societies the notion of community is very strong and countries in Europe or US the individualism is the rule.
+CezarMansour Particularly in this case, this kid has lived in US for quite some time. Due to his mothers job. His mother used to work for Kyrgyz embassy in US
because most of these kids studying abroad are born into wealthy families so there parents send them to boarding schools or put them in private schools
Can anyone tell me something about Kyrgyzstan, its music and songs, TV series and cinema movies and theater plays and broadcast series, its universities, its sports clubs and teams in terms of medals espicially in football, its banks, its nature, its ethnicity and languages...tell me about these aspects and other aspects of life in kyrgyzstan
according to linguistic studies, non-English speakers need averagely 5 years to take the residence in an English speaking country to loss their 'foreign' accent, however, if their social life is strictly isolated in a circle where they don't get chance to speak their mother language at all, that period can be shortened to 3 and half years.
I'm not sure if this "5 years" theory is entirely correct. While it is true that the degree of integration determines how fast one can learn the language of the host country, having a "foreign accent" is more biological. Studies have shown if people can "hear" their accent, psycho-cognitively speaking, they can consciously correct themselves. It is true to all non native speakers.
I got accused of being Georgian last weekend. Not a damn trace of the Yankee accent remains. I honestly think I could go back to America and nobody would think I am native.
azeez kammadam well, you should prepare for out shit, cold, brutal winters, jesus XD. And also if you are going to KG you should learn Russian/Kyrgyz because you won't survive if you don't XD.
Kyrgyzstan became a new and independent country officially, when it separated from the Soviet Union in 1991. While Kyrgyzstan itself has been around for a very long time, it's a new country in the sense that they've moved on from communism to a more democratic society.
Turgun Duishonali Do you not understand the history of the USSR? It joined the Soviet Union, no longer being Kyrgyzstan when it did. When it broke away in 1991 it became Kyrgyzstan again.
CarterMc3 If I know history of kyrgyzstan from vI-VII century, ofcourse I know about USSR. from wikipedia you can find this one.
We need a new socilal members and the old corrupt Goverment must be exhausted. New generation must drive the new country and the old must give their advices. So back to Kyrgizstan people and help to be that what it was or make it better.
I thought it was really interesting when the girl said men need to man up, and gave examples of man pursuing women. As a Brit if a girl turned me down, I would think it totally inappropriate to pursue her further. I don't think it's about fear or needing to man up, I think it's about respecting the woman. I am not saying Kyrgyzstan men do not respect women, but it's really interesting to note the cultural differences, I'm assuming that for a man to do that in Kyrgyzstan would be seen as strong whereas if a man does not take no for answer here he is seen as being a pest, or even as harrassing the woman.
well the country borders china, and the Kyrgyz used to be part of the Silk Road and used to raid the Chinese Caravans until China gave them a cut of the action
He's accent is very strong indeed, don't forget the chinese today have blood ties to many nomads in the past, it's logical that some kyrgyz are Mongoloid instead of Caucasians.
