I like that body style the best out of all the 4runners. But that 3.0 is probably the worst out of all the other models. Ask me how I know. Yep have the twin brother setting about 200 feet from me. Head gaskets, valve covers and a thousand feet of hoses along with one of the worst ac control problems to trouble shoot. I love the thing but I fix one thing something else goes to crap. Wish I would have bought a 1997 to a 2002. I also have a 2003 and there is no comparison to how much better it is in every way. Both are stock and in excellent shape. Just the bugs in the 94 you have to put up with.
Exhaust manifold bolts were loose so it had major header leak which is fixed , still has that faint ticking tho maybe a crack or small exhaust leak somewhere else?

Any problems with the 03? I know the V6 on the early models had head gasket issues on the 4.0.
He thinks it's a vaccum leak.... Haha... That's what the kid I'm sure said to get it off his hands ... You fix it the idling?
Yep truck had issues lol. All good now been daily driving for over a year. Thinking 1uz swap in the future

Solid! Fixed vacuum leaks and did some maintenance things and shes been alright. multiple camping trips and 1500+mile road trip, bit of off roading.
