I tried with 50% Alcool and it didn't work, but then I found this tutorial and it worked great! My cartridge is HP 63XL.

And to think of all the ink cartridges I have thrown out believing they were empty when all along they were just dried out and/or clogged. I had even convinced myself when the ink level indicator got to about 1/4 left it was time to buy new cartridges. This worked like a charm in just a few minutes. Thanks a bunch!

How long did you soak it in the hot water.? I left mine in for about 20 minutes after boiling the water a bit, did not work. Cartridge is about half full

@@tommyjoe4310 Hey there, I only did it for a few minutes. I had told a friend this hack and he basically told me what you have. My suggestion is to try it again but after soaking for a few minutes shake the cartridge vigorously (do this outside and away from anything - ink could splatter all over the place) If you do the soak and shake method a couple of times and it still doesn't work then you got a bad cartridge. Good Luck!

Should work for any inkjet cartridge!!! So awesome, the basics of just cleaning the nozzle with hot water should unclog any cartridge. Worked on my canon cartridge, very happy!!!

Thank you this printer had not been touched for months and had full cartridges. The black ink was clogged worked in 5 minutes after multiple cleanings that the printer could not fix!

Instant ink recommended the opposite said to, lightly damp a microfiber/swap and then wipe the copper colored contacts on the cartridge. Pic literally cross-circled so I won't touch it.
